No Common Ground

There is no longer any common ground between the two political parties in our country.
There was a time when our leaders could sit down and discuss the problems which needed attention and work out a solution. The solution wasn't exactly what, for the most part, either party hoped for but it was a step in the right direction..

Today that is no longer possible. There is no Common Ground upon which we can meet.

The day Donald Trump stepped off the escalator, in Trump Tower, and announced he would run for president, the progressives laughed, the rino republicans, who would become known as the Never Trumpers laughed, but the people who were true conservatives applauded. Finally someone with balls would be running for president on the Republican ticket. Such a novel idea..

As Trump began his campaign, as he began talking about the things which concerned the average voter some of the aforementioned groups began to be concerned. Although the polls showed HIllary would win by a big margin, worry began to creep into those who live in the Washington Swamp. The politicians on both sides of the isle, many of whom have never had a job outside of politics, who know practically nothing of business or how to run one and are totally removed from day to day life of the average American were beginning to hear Trump's promise to "drain the swamp", to make changes which could change their very way of life. They began to take him seriously, They began to worry.

The date most often used, as the date when the plan to stop Trump was first implemented was around July of 2015. Those involved in stopping him was FBI director James Colmey and several associates directly under his control, members of the Justice Department, top members of the intelligence community and Obama and Biden along with top members of his Administration.
Documents have finally been released which prove all of this. When the first spying began, using false information to obtain FISA warrants to spy on General Michael Flynn and Carter Page they had no crime, no legal reason for the application. We now know that they lied and used false information. We know that, it has been in the Inspector General's report more than one and the documents which prove it is available online. The proof is there.

So while we were not aware of the falsely acquired FISA warrants they began an investigation charging the President with colluding with the Russians to win the election. They began this investigation with no evidence of this charge. Muller was put in charge of the investigation, and he accepted the job knowing full well that he had no legal precedent for the investigation. If he had been honest he would have refused the appointment. He didn't. (For those who remember or wish to research Muller's top dog (pit bull as they called him) he was the same man who was in charge of the Enron task Force and destroyed Arther Anderson Accounting which put 85000 people out of work. He tried to completely take down Merrill Lynch and he was in charge of the Senator Steven investigation when they took down a Senator using false information and withholding exculpatory evidence. Almost every conviction in these cases was overturned by the Supreme Court . I recommend Sidney Powell's book "License to Lie". It will scare you to death. I remember these events when they happened and I find her book a "can't put down" read.

If you follow the news at all you know the story. The Mullier investigation which found nothing. The impeachment by the democrat run congress which failed in the Senate. We now know that every witness who was called to testify in the secret basement hearings called by Schifft, and who we were told, had evidence against the President, later said when specifically asked if they had or knew of any evidence against the president, said they did not.

Close on the heels of the impeachment, came the virus. Considering all the wrong information we have been given, .the incorrect data and the date that just doesn't compute, it is easy to see that the virus is being used to keep our country from regaining the financial position we had prior to the virus. It is being politicized against Trump. The progressives have done nothing except try to "get Trump" since before the 2016 election.

And finally we have the "peaceful" protesters who are now being used to try to make President look bad. If they can somehow convince people that all the chaos, transpiring in long time controlled Democrat cities, is somehow the fault of President Trump, then somehow people can be convinced to vote for Joe Biden.

Seriously, I am scratching my head over that one. Really, Joe Biden, a man who has been wrong all his life. Every stand he has ever taken has put him in the wrong. Then you have his liking for touching and feeling little girls and women. Then there is his families wealth, made at the expense of our country and using his position in the government to grant favors to those in other countries in exchange for money to his family. It's not just his son. And then there is his gaffs, laughed at for years as just being funny. They weren't. And now you have an old man who doesn't know who he is, what he is running for or where he is most of the time.

The time is here when we need to be scared about losing our country. . Don't think for one minute that any of this is about race. It is not. Don't think that BLM is about race. It is not. Now is the time to stand up for what you believe in and for the love you have for your country.

There are thousands of people who are discouraged and will believe what they see on television. They will believe that there is no hope and our country will become what we see in places like Minneapolis and New York. They will not vote because they think it is hopeless. Think about this...if instead of just hitting the LIKE button on facebook what if you just take a minute to comment or share and say you believe in America. You support America and what it stands for. You never know what just a few words of encouragement will do for a discouraged person. They will know they are not alone in their feelings.

Something as small as just a word of support for our country might be the straw that breaks the camels back (so to speak) and might encourage just one person to dig a little deeper into history and really find out that our country is the most wonderful place in the world, with the most opportunities possible for everyone.

If you vote for Biden, or fail to vote because you don't like the way Trump speaks remember this. Joe Biden is incapable of being president. If elected the country will be run by Pelosi, AOC, Shumer and the rest of the progressives in Washington. Do you believe in higher taxes, no police, no free speach or liberty, no gun rights, limited freedom? This is what progressives offer. Do you want to see the country look like Minneapolis? Would you like to live there?

Please speak up, encourage others to speak up....Stand UP America.

You Really Need to Consider the Facts

We're coming down to the wire for this election and people make their minds up based on sound bites, mostly which have little or no basis in fact.

If our education system was doing the job it was set up to do all the lies and innuendos could not work. Here are a few points which I would bet most people don't know or understand.

Regarding our almost 20 Trillion dollar debt. To think about a number so big is in itself mind-boggling. Now to put this into context. The Fed has held down the interest rate for all these many months. How does that enter into the economy, into your life? Well just think about this. At the beginning of Obama's term in office, many retirees or soon to be retirees had their retirement savings in bonds, in CD's, in Treasury bills. Their plan was that the interest from these investments would be their retirement income. Holding the interest rate to almost zero has demolished these plans. Consider a person with $300,000 in his/her retirement plan. When the interest rate was 6% that meant a yearly income of $18,000. That plus social security meant an income that could support a modest lifestyle while maintaining their capital. When the interest rate fell to and settled on less than 1% it devastated their retirement and many of these people are now forced to continue working well into their 70s and 80s.
401's. Most young workers probably think that the 401 retirement plans have always been there. Actually the programs was first established in 1978 and since that date has had many tax isssues. In the beginning it was strictly for executives and high earners. By 1983 nearly half of large employers either were offering or planned to offer the plan and by 1996 there were over 30 million participants.It wasn't until 2006 that automatic enrollment took effect so many current retirees did not have the 401 as an option. The only vehicle left for investment for many is the stock market which has been artificially inflated because of all the money printed by the Treasury and for which there is no place for it to go other than the stock market or overseas.

It is only because the Fed has held the interest rate down that Obama has even had a chance to brag about his economic success. Looking again at the national debt of almost $20 Trillion dollars. Think what would or will happen when the interest rate on that debt rises. If it goes up by even 1% that would be an additional $200 billion dollars per year, if it increased by 3% that would be $600 billion dollars per year. According to budget information from the www.insidegov.com we are currently taking in $3.34 Trillion and spending $$3.95 Trillion for an annual deficit of -$616 Billion. When the interest rate goes up by even 1% that would mean a deficit of -$816 Billion which will further bring down our economy.

Remember when Obama took office the national debt was about $10.7 Trillion which was the accumulation of all the Presidents from Washington throught GW Bush.

Now to current promises and plans within the campaign. When Hillary says she will tax the wealthy everyone on the left cheers. Remember this, when a politicial talks about the tax rate they are talking primarily about the rate on "earned income". That is on wages and salaries, it is NOT on investment income which is where the wealthy earn their money. When she talks about taxing the rich by raising the income tax rate she is really not talking about all her rich cronies.
When she talks about raising the estate tax rate again she is not talking about the rich because the rich have their own tax attorneys who set them up with foundations and every other conceivable loophole that is in the tax-code and they therefore do not pay any estate tax when they die. The current federal estate tax exemption is $5.43 million which lets most American taxpayers off the hook.
The point I am making is that all these "big Deal" promises or charges are false.

The biggie this morning is that Donald Trump has not paid taxes in years. First, of course, as an employer he pays a great amount of tax as an employer, he pays the employer share of FICA, workers comp, unemployment tax, and on and on. He pays for all the regulations which the Federal Government imposes on business and which Obama has created in abundance. He pays huge amounts in Real Estate tax throughout the country on property he owns. I think most of us would love to have, as our income, just what Trump pays in taxes.
Trump had some tremendous business losses in 1995 and which in turn created carry back or carry forward losses for Federal Income tax purposes. The tax law gives the taxpayer the choice of carrying back 3 years or carrying forward 15 years. This is law, perfectly legal and used everyday.
It is perfectly fair but most people will never know or understand this when a soundbite is running across the headlines saying Trump has not paid taxes in years.

Trump says dumb things sometimes and he is without a doubt very very interested in telling us about his successes but let me ask you to do this. Compare what Donald Trump has accomplished to what Hillary Clinton has accomplished. Trump has earned what he has in the Capitalistic Market Place. He has been out there winning by using his intellect and his ability to do deals and by keeping his eyes on the bottom line. He has earned it. Hillary on the other hand has lived her entire adult on the back of taxpayers, she has never contributed to the economy in any way shape or form. And now since she and Bill left the Whitehouse broke (in her words) they have managed to accumulate billions of dollars on speech making and writing books that don't sell. Can you really believe that? If so I would love to hear your explanation.

I hope this will give some people food for thought or ammo for arguing their point. Remember when you don't know something...look it up. Just ask Seri...she may not know everything but she knows a lot.

Radical left-wing billionaire George Soros developed a strategy five years ago to publicly disparage, delegitimize, and marginalize conservatives like David Horowitz who go to great pains to warn Americans about the threat posed by political Islam and the ongoing Islamization of the U.S.

It is part of the Left's push to create an alternate reality in which world temperatures claimed to be rising at an imperceptibly slow rate pose more of a threat to mankind than militants flying commercial jetliners into skyscrapers.

Soros is a foreign-born atheist who as a 14-year-old collaborated with the Nazis in occupied Hungary, describing that time as "probably the happiest year of my life" and "a very positive experience." He has described himself as "some kind of god, the creator of everything," and has said his "goal" was "to become the conscience of the world."

He is an enabler of Islam which has been expanding by conquest and deception for 1,400 years. To put things in Islamic terms, Soros's proposed mass importation of Muslims would expand the ummah, or community of Muslims, by means of what Muslims call hijrah, or jihad through emigration, from the Islamic world, the Dar al-Islam (house of peace), to the Dar al-Harb (house of war).

Soros's affinity for Islam makes perfect sense. Nazi sympathizers and Islamists have much in common. It is fair to say that Islamic terrorists are the last of Adolf Hitler's World War Two coalition partners that have yet to be vanquished.

The Islamic world aligned with the Third Reich, and this alliance "has largely been whitewashed from the pages of history," Pamela Geller reminds us:

Many Muslims fought on the German side during World War II. The Wehrmacht had six legions with a Muslim majority and the SS had three Muslim divisions, a brigade and a Waffenbrigade. Each Muslim unit got a mullah as an adviser. In November 1944, an SS mullah school was established in Dresden, founded by Himmler.

The end goal for Soros, long the preeminent funder of the Left, is to weaken America by making the country safe for Islam, a fascistic, religion-like ideology founded by Muhammad in the seventh century after the birth of Christ. Soros urges the dissolution of borders and demands that the U.S. accept unlimited immigration, including from regions that produce people who hate America and its values and founding principles.

A constellation of well-heeled funders are part of a long-term campaign aimed at making the tenets of Islam acceptable in American society and glossing over the problems associated with importing terrorism-prone Muslims. The 86-year-old Soros, whose estimated net worth is now at a record $24.9 billion, is by far the wealthiest of these funders.

Secret internal documents from Soros's primary philanthropic vehicle, Open Society Foundations (OSF), were hacked by DCLeaks and published on the group's website this past weekend.

One memorandum dated Jan. 12, 2011, bears the subject line "U.S. Models for Combating Xenophobia and Intolerance." It is included in the document bundle labeled "Extreme Polarization and Breakdown in Civic Discourse."

The memo identifies a plan that calls upon the Center for American Progress (CAP), founded by Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman, John Podesta, to combat a phantom the Left calls "Islamophobia." This neologism is wielded as a cudgel against those who dislike Islam and those who are merely skeptical of it. Leftists are determined to stamp out criticism of Islam, and they have an army of nonprofit organizations, foundations, academics, media outlets, and name-calling activists to help them.

The 57-member state Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is onboard with attacking Islamophobia. It wants to outlaw all criticism of Islam in every country on planet Earth. Such criticism is not only blasphemous but also defamatory, according to Islamic thinking.

The memo states:

We need a clearer understanding of what by all indications is a well-orchestrated and well financed system by which right-wing think tanks, pundits, and politicians are able to introduce false narratives and flawed research into the media cycle and use their misinformation to manipulate public opinion and thwart progressive counterterrorism policies.

It describes the "Examining Anti-Muslim Bigotry Project" espoused by the Center for American Progress. The project would:

(1) study anti-Muslim bigotry in the public discourse and respond on a rapid response basis throughout the 10-month grant period using CAP's state of the art communications platform; (2) conduct investigative research on the Islamophobia movement and issue a major report on its findings in the first quarter of 2011; and (3) convene in the first quarter of 2011 two dozen experts, including representatives of progressive organizations and the Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim, and South Asian-American (AMEMSA) community, to formulate strategies for combating anti-Muslim xenophobia.

It also indicates that CAP "will research and track the activities of the most prominent drivers of Islamophobia," including "David Horowitz's Freedom Center," Stop Islamization of America led by Pamela Geller, Foundation for Defense of Democracies led by Cliff May, and Liz Cheney's group Keep America Safe. CAP will also examine "the role played by right-wing media, the Tea Party movement, prominent politicians, pundits, and conservative donors in spreading anti-Muslim hysteria."

CAP took Soros's money and did his bidding. Even today CAP is working hard to convince Americans that this make-believe mental illness of Islamophobia is a threat to American democracy and pluralism. CAP claims a $57 million network "is fueling Islamophobia in the United States." The group created a sophisticated, flashy website (Islamophobianetwork.com) that identifies leading alleged Islamophobes. The site draws upon "Fear, Inc.: The Roots of the Islamophobia Network in America," a 2011 CAP report, and "Fear, Inc. 2.0: The Islamophobia Network's Efforts to Manufacture Hate in America," a CAP report from 2015.

CAP warns that there is "a small, tightly networked group of misinformation experts guiding an effort that reaches millions of Americans through effective advocates, media partners, and grassroots organizing." These people, particularly a handful of key individuals and their organizations, spread "hate and misinformation."

The Podesta-founded Center's top six targets for vilification are: David Horowitz, founder and CEO of the David Horowitz Freedom Center (DHFC); Robert Spencer, co-founder of Stop Islamization of America, director of the DHFC-affiliated Jihad Watch, and vice president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative; Frank Gaffney, founder and president of the Center for Security Policy (CSP); Steven Emerson, founder and executive director of the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT); Daniel Pipes, founder and president of the Middle East Forum (MEF); and David Yerushalmi, founder of the Society of Americans for National Existence (SANE), and general counsel for CSP and Stop Islamization of America.

The site also directs fire at author and activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Somali-born ex-Muslim who is a fierce critic of Islam.

Although political correctness dictates that Hirsi Ali's opinions should be given greater weight because she is female, black, an immigrant, and a victim of violence (female genital mutilation), she is too important a target to ignore. The CAP-created website notes disapprovingly that she calls Islam "a destructive, nihilistic cult of death" and says we will lose the fight against terrorism "unless we realize that it's not just with extremist elements within Islam, but the ideology of Islam itself."

The website tries to discredit its targets by stating or implying, often without offering any proof, that they are "radical right-wing," ignorant, misinformed, paranoid, or bigoted. It smears CSP's Gaffney, for example, claiming he "makes unsubstantiated claims," and publishes commissioned papers whose authors knowingly arrive at "exaggerated and incorrect conclusions."

The site claims Robert Spencer "is the primary driver in promoting the myth that peaceful Islam is nonexistent and that violent extremism is inherent within traditional Islam." It quotes Spencer saying Islam "is the only major world religion with a developed doctrine and tradition of warfare against unbelievers."

The site attacks David Horowitz, approvingly quoting the Southern Poverty Law Center which has dubbed him "the godfather of the anti-Muslim movement." The site also pillories Horowitz for saying that "virtually every major Muslim organization in America is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, the fountainhead of Islamic terror," and for amplifying the voices of "fellow anti-Muslim bigots and their schemes of conspiracies and threats."

And it claims the DHFC, which publishes FrontPage, "promoted the myth that Muslim extremists infiltrated an array of political organizations on both the left and the right."

Soros's "U.S. Models for Combating Xenophobia and Intolerance" memo is both an important leftist document and a window into the thinking of Soros operatives. It shows their preference for far-left talking points over the dispassionate analysis of facts. It also ought to disabuse any readers of the notion that OSF, formerly known as the Open Society Institute, is bursting with good people with good intentions. Many of these people viscerally hate those who disagree with them, viewing them not merely as ignorant or misguided, but as evil.

The memo is also a character assassination roadmap that enlists the assistance of disreputable left-wing groups including Media Matters for America, Muslim Public Affairs Council, and the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Addressed to OSF president (now president emeritus) Aryeh Neier, the memo is from OSF staffers Ann Beeson, Nancy Chang, and Raquiba LaBrie – all lawyers and veteran social justice warriors – plotting to smear those who dare to tell the truth about Islam. It lays out a plan "to counter xenophobia and intolerance in the U.S."

ACLU alumna Beeson replaced current Democracy Alliance president Gara LaMarche in 2007 as U.S. Programs director at OSF. She now runs of the Center for Public Policy Priorities in Austin, Texas. Chang managed OSF's National Security and Human Rights Campaign but it wasn't clear at time of writing if she still worked at OSF. She was previously senior litigation attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights, a virulently anti-American public interest law firm. Harvard-trained LaBrie is director of philanthropy at L+M Development Partners in New York City and a board member of the Urban Justice Center.

The 2011 strategy memo is a template for a well-funded smear campaign against critics of Islam, associating them with the shooting that January of then-Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.). The attack "provides a grim backdrop to U.S. Programs' consideration of rising xenophobia and intolerance." The shooter, Jared Lee Loughner, turned out to be a paranoid left-winger.

The memo sets the stage by repeating the long ago debunked Daily Kos-originated smear that Sarah Palin, "the most visible Tea Party leader," somehow caused the mass shooting in which Giffords was severely wounded because she supposedly contributed to the "extreme and violent rhetoric [that] pervades our political discourse."

It regurgitates the leftist article of faith that "prejudice against Muslims, Latinos, African Americans, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people, and other minorities is growing in a climate of fear, anger, and economic uncertainty." It blames "anti-Muslim bigotry" for opposition to the construction of an "Islamic community center" at Ground Zero in lower Manhattan. It claims that "[c]able television channels, talk radio and political blogs pander to people's fears and privilege expression of extreme views."

America is a fetid hellhole of racial and religious hatred, the memo continues.

There is "growing intolerance and fragmentation in U.S. society" and it is important to examine the "full range of actions from rhetoric to harassment to violence perpetrated by government officials and private individuals, or embodied in laws or policies." More money "should be devoted to uncovering the connections between individual actors, hate groups and extremist ideologies."

The memo authors recommend that Open Society Foundations contribute $200,000 of the project's $225,000 budget. It states that as of that point in time OSF had given a total of $6,759,991 to CAP. However, IRS filings show that if OSF grants and grants from Soros's other philanthropy, the Foundation to Promote Open Society, are combined, the total amount given to CAP rises to $10,541,376.

The OSF grant to CAP does not appear in philanthropy databases. Three separate $200,000 grants – two in 2011 and one in 2013 – to CAP for an "anti-Muslim bigotry" project do appear but they come from the Foundation to Promote Open Society.

Another OSF memo from April 26, 2010 ("Strategic Opportunities Fund – May 3, 2010 Docket Recommendation") urges funding for the absurdly named Free Exchange on Campus Coalition which it states was created three and a half years earlier "to counter vigorous assaults on freedom of expression."

OSF acknowledges it approved a $150,000 grant for FECC in 2009 and planned to give an additional $110,500 to its apparent fiscal sponsor, the American Federation of Teachers Educational Foundation. "Because FECC does not have its own 501c3 status, the coalition members decided to house the staff coordinator position at the American Federation of Teachers Educational Foundation," the planning document states.

FECC was founded after an OSF-hosted meeting in 2006 "following which leading faculty, student and civil liberties organizations launched Free Exchange on Campus Coalition (FECC) as a joint effort to counter conservative activists and their allies' ideological assault on higher education."

At that time "assaults on free exchange on campuses ... included public relations efforts to undermine popular support for the academy, on-campus student campaigns, and efforts to pass state and federal legislation, based upon the David Horowitz Freedom Center's 'Academic Bill of Rights' (ABOR) proposal, to place restrictions on higher education."

FECC began to organize students and faculty in key states to roll out a public communications strategy" and "played a major role in organizing students and faculty to oppose proposals to restrict the free exchange of ideas in Pennsylvania, Montana, Missouri, Virginia, Iowa, Arizona, Georgia and Texas."

In fact the Academic Bill of Rights was drafted to protect students from abusive, indoctrination-oriented professors with the goal of returning the academy to traditional principles of open inquiry and true academic freedom that puts students and teachers on an equal footing.

Horowitz is also mentioned in an article from the OSF document dump called "9/11 at 10: Lessons Learned from Anti-Muslim Haters," by Faiz Shakir, at the time vice president of CAP. According to his LinkedIn profile he left CAP in June 2012 to become "New Media Director & Senior Adviser" to House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, and In March 2013 he became "Senior Adviser" to "U.S. Senate Majority [sic] Leader Harry Reid[.]" (The article is one of several in a PDF file called "tab-7-usp-board-articles-oct-2011[.]")

Shakir describes Horowitz as one of "a host of grassroots organizers and activists" who disseminates the work of "anti-Muslim experts." After that, "[m]edia voices on the right-Fox News, National Review, and hate radio hosts like Michael Savage-then amplify the Islamophobic rhetoric. Ultimately, right-wing political actors like Newt Gingrich and Rep. Allen West (R-FL) help mainstream the ugly prejudice."

Shakir adds:

The lesson is simple: We need to isolate the Islamophobia network. That means demanding the media not give a platform to this small cadre of voices. That also means demanding that politicians divorce themselves from the network's propaganda. It's possible.

Shakir's right. It is possible to smear and intimidate people who want to speak the truth.

The Left, surfing on a tidal wave of Soros money, does it every day.

Former United States Attorney General Michael Mukasey tells MSNBC that not only is Hillary Clinton's private email server illegal,

it "disqualifies" her from holding any federal office.

Such as, say, President of the United States. Very specifically points to one federal law, Title 18. Section 2071.

For those of us who do not have United States Code committed to memory, here's what it says:
(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

I, like millions of Americans saw your speech at the DNC on Thursday night.

I wish to offer my sympathy for the death of your son, Captain Humayun Khan, who was killed in action in Iraq.

As a former US Army officer, and a veteran of the Gulf War, I can certainly understand the pain and anguish that you and your wife endure every day.

Your son died saving the lives of his fellow soldiers. As Jesus told his disciples, according to the Gospel of John, Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Captain Khan is a hero. I am sure the soldiers he served with regard him as one. I know you and your wife do. Rest assured that millions of veterans regard your son as a hero as well.

To paraphrase from the Book of Ecclesiasticus, your son’s name liveth for evermore.

Your son made the ultimate sacrifice for his country, a country that was new to you and your family and one which you openly embraced and certainly love.

When you and your family arrived to America from Pakistan, you assimilated into our country. You adopted American ways, learned our history and apparently you even acquired a pocket Constitution along the way. Good for you sir.

But, there are many Muslims in America who not only have no desire to assimilate, but wish to live under Sharia Law. That is unacceptable to Americans. There is only one law of the land. That is the U.S. Constitution.

As you well know, Mr. Khan, we live in violent times, dangerous times. Muslim madmen from ISIS and other radical Jihadi groups are on a murder and terror spree across the globe. Your religion of peace, Islam, is anything but that in 2016. That is a fact that is confirmed every time a Muslim shoots, bombs, beheads and tortures innocent men, women and children. This does not mean that every Muslim is a terrorist, but most terrorists, sir, are indeed Muslims.

A Muslim terrorist attack has become the sign of the times.

Regardless of what the feckless, naïve, leftist ideologue Barack Obama and his dimwitted colleagues John Kerry, Francois Hollande and Angela Merkel state, the United States and the West are at war with Radical Islam. It is the job of the president of the United States to protect his nation from all enemies; foreign and domestic. Unfortunately, Mr. Obama romanticizes Islam and refuses to accept reality, which has resulted in the deaths of thousands of innocent people across the world.

Groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda have one goal, the complete destruction of the Judeo-Christian culture, our religions and our way of life.

Many Americans have families that have been here for decades, even centuries. Many families like mine have relatives who fought in the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm. Some families have relatives who fought in the American Revolution.

We don’t plan on letting our country be devoured by Muslim maniacs. We are Americans sir, and not unarmed, socialist European zombies. We will do what is necessary to protect the United States. While many Democrats and liberals see the world through rose colored glasses, conservatives understand that there is good and evil in this world. Evil must be destroyed before it destroys us. Strong measures, wartime measures, must be taken to protect this country from those that wish to annihilate us and our way of life.

Mr. Trump’s plan to temporarily halt immigration from Muslim countries that are known to either support terrorism or harbor terrorist groups is not only pragmatic, but indeed it is constitutional. It is the constitutional duty of the president of the United States to protect this nation.

There is simply no way to vet hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees from war zones like Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Europe is being destroyed because reckless leaders like Angela Merkel have opened the continent’s doors to a flood of over one million undocumented Muslims arriving with nothing more than a bad attitude and a haversack of Jihad.

Do you think Americans are stupid? While the left lives in a dream world, the right does not. Mr. Trump understands the threat to his nation and the threat, sir, is not from Swedish Lutherans named Anna and Lars. The threat, sir, is from radical Islam.

How in God’s name are U.S. immigration authorities supposed to know the true intentions of a 22-year-old Syrian man? It is impossible. You know it is impossible.

How in God’s name are U.S. immigration authorities supposed to know the true intentions of hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees and thousands of other sundry Muslims who wish to arrive on our shores?

It is impossible. You know it is impossible.

Whether you, your wife, the Muslim world and millions of Democrats are offended by Mr. Trump’s realistic view of the world is irrelevant.

Whether you, your wife and son would have been prohibited from emigrating from Pakistan to America under Mr. Trump’s wartime plan is irrelevant. The security of this great land supersedes your desires and the desires of others who wish to come here now. The United States of America has no obligation to open its doors in order to placate foreigners and liberals in our government.

To adopt any other course but Mr. Trump’s would be a cause for further endangering the lives of Americans every day. That, sir, is unacceptable.

You attacked Mr. Trump in front of a worldwide audience, yet you can’t understand the fact that he defends himself against attacks from you, Hillary Clinton and the left. What else is one to do sir?

We must live in a world of reality, not a world of denial, delusion and fantasy the Democrats inhabit every waking day of their lives.

Radical Islam is the enemy of everyone on this planet who believes in freedom and justice. Until it is destroyed, this nation must protect itself from enemies both foreign and domestic.

Most everyone who keeps up with politics is very much aware of the political trick which the DNC (Hillary) pulled on Trump at their convention when they introduced the Kahns to talk about the loss of their son in a military attack while in service our country.

While no one can help but feel the pain of any parents who loses a son or daughter to war it is sad when those very parents use their child's death for political purposes.
When Mr. Kahn turned his full attack on Donald Trump because he (Trump) believes we should not continue to accept immigrants from an Isis area where they cannot be background checked it could pretty well be expected that Trump would fight back and Hillary's media was waiting with their charges that he was attacking a poor grieving family.

Well it would seem that the relationship between Mr Kahn and the Clintons runs deep. Also his connections with Saudi Arabia, who The Clintons have received millions of dollars from, is well documented.

Don't Buy the Lie... Hillary and Benghazi

Anyone who believes the current left wing media's proclamations regarding the exoneration of Hillary Clinton for her role in Benghazi, in the report released this past week, has to be intentionally ignorant.

Have you read the report, or even the summary report by Congressmen Jordan and Pompeo. They are quite easy to find online. The actual report is over 800 pages but the Jordan Pompeo report is an easy read of just over 50 pages.

Have you seen the movie 13 Hours or have you read the book (same name). Have you watched the interview with three of the men who survived the Bengazi fire fight by Brett Baier on Fox News? Have you seen any of the many interviews with these men who fought for those many hours when our government did not even try to rescue them?

Did you watch any of the hearings in Washington regarding Bengazi?

The information is easily available. Information which contradicts everything the left and Hillary say about the death of Ambassador Stevens and the three men who also died. One at the consulate where he was trying to protect Ambassador Stevens and two more who died on a rooftop fighting off the attackers at the annex building about a mile away from the original attack.

There are hours of testimony regarding what happened and thousands of pages of recorded emails and correspondence.

If you watch Fox News you know most of it, if you don't you probably know very little because the media has worked overtime for the past four years to cover everything up in order first to protect Obama who was just a few weeks from election to his second term in office and to protect HIllary for her 2016 run for the Presidency. Yes she was preparing for her second run for the office even as Obama was running for his second term. I believe she started her run the minute she accepted the job of secretary of state for Obama when he was first elected. We may never know what the inside arrangements were between Obama and Hillary but be sure there was some sort of deal between them.

The Hillary team keeps telling us us how qualified Hillary is to be president yet when one of her supporters is asked to name just one accomplishment to support their contention...silence.

Living at taxpayers expense for most of a persons life does not equal experience to be president and so Hillary needed a big accomplishment for her run for the presidency in 2016. I have no idea how she settled on Libya but she did and against the advise of many advisors in the military side of the administration she decided that Qaddafi needed to be removed, even though he wasn't a threat to us. So with support from Nato the deed was done.

Here is a little bit of info I found on a website called informationclearinghouse.info:

Like most things done by the left they never have a plan for completion of their ideas and this was no exception. After the overthrow, and since, Libya has been in complete turmoil. Since this was to be Hillary's big deal, her proof of accomplishment that she would run on in the 2016 election campaign it was imperative that the general public think of Libya as a success. The media, always complicit in HIllary's schemes and transgressions, were not about to give her away and Obama continued his lies to the American public about his successes.

And so Hillary appointed Ambassador Stevens to Libya with grand plans to show the world her success. Unfortunately Libya was not cooperating. In Benghazi the two years prior to the attack on the consulate was not a place of success. There were numerous attacks and threats on both our consulate as well as on the British posts and the Red Cross. Our people, stationed in Benghazi, sent a endless stream of requests to Hillary's State Dept requesting additional security. None were ever granted. The consulate building itself did not meet the minimum standards set by the State Department for Embassies but excuses were made that it was a consulate and temporary so therefore Hillary's office did nothing.

The report does not "clear" Hillary but it does not go far enough in placing blame. While she did not plan for the attack to happen, she did nothing to prevent it. She did nothing to try to rescue the people in Benghazi, in fact while she held a meeting within hours of the start of the attack 5 of 11 items on their agenda was about how they would spin the information to the public and indeed just a few hours later she sent emails to her daughter as well as to leaders in Libya and Egypt that the attack had been pre-planned by terrorists at the same time she went on TV and told the rest of us that it was because of a video. She told the families of the slain men, as she stood by the coffins that it was because of the video and indeed for days Hillary and Obama went before the public with their lies.

The reason for the lies was obvious. This was September 11, the election was almost upon us. Obama's whole campaign was about how well he was doing with the wars. The public must not be told that Libya was in a shambles and if Obama and Hillary admitted that the attack in Benghazi was a planned attack by terrorist it would paint a completely different picture of Obama's success in his first term. Hillary's campaign in 2016 was to be about her wonderful success in Libya and she could not accept the blame that her big plan not only had not worked out the way she expected. It had cost the lives of four men, one of them an Ambassador she had sent to Benghazi. Because of her poor judgement and failure to send the reinforcements they had asked for hundreds of times her grand accomplishment was a failure.

Unlike Pope Francis, I believe that air-conditioning and the capitalists responsible for the technology are blessings to the world.
Perhaps the head of the Catholic Church, who condemned “the increasing use and power of air-conditioning” last week in a market-bashing encyclical, is unaware of the pioneering private company that has donated its time, energy and innovative heating, ventilating and air-conditioning equipment to the Vatican’s most famous edifice for more than a decade.
That’s right. While the pontiff sanctimoniously attacks “those who are obsessed with maximizing profits,” Carrier Corporation — a $13 billion for-profit company with 43,000 employees worldwide (now a unit of U.S.-based United Technologies Corp.) — ensures that the air in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel stays clean and cool.
Last fall, Carrier unveiled a groundbreaking HVAC system for the Vatican to help preserve Michelangelo’s masterpieces against pollution caused by the estimated six million visitors who descend on the Sistine Chapel every year to see its famous frescoes.
As the company described it, their new solution “uses two Carrier AquaForce(r) 30XWV water-cooled chillers with Greenspeed(r) intelligence, each with 580 kilowatts of capacity. It leverages specially designed software and components, as well as patented, energy-saving technologies to maintain optimal climate conditions for the protection of the paintings within the chapel.” State-of-the-art intelligent controls “anticipate visitor levels and adjust its performance intuitively.” It also “delivers twice the efficiency and three times the capacity of the former system, which was built and installed by Carrier in the early 1990s.”
Here’s the lesson about air-conditioning capitalists that Pope Francis fails to appreciate: Carrier’s technological know-how and breakthroughs didn’t just descend from the clouds. As I recount in my latest book, “Who Built That,” every perfectly chilled home, office, movie theater, mall, factory, hospital, lab and museum owes its existence to the profit-seeking pioneers of manufactured weather: Willis Carrier and Irvine Lyle.
These early 20th-century inventive giants brought air-conditioning to the market and to the masses. Willis Carrier was the scientist-tinkerpreneur whose prolific stream of experiments and epiphanies, beginning in 1902, fueled historic technological advances in heating, refrigeration and air-conditioning. Irvine Lyle was the mechanical engineer-turned-salesman who imagined countless new commercial applications for Carrier’s work — and successfully turned those ideas into a multibillion-dollar business through relentless promotion, pitches, networking, advertising and outreach.
The scientists and their core team begged, borrowed and made stock sales to friends and neighbors. Carrier even enlisted his dentist for cash to get Carrier Engineering Corporation up and running in 1915. Carrier, Lyle and five founding engineers together pitched in $32,600 in start-up funds.
The Carrier capitalists risked it all in defiance of an economic depression and amid the tumult of world war. They couldn’t afford their own factory and scrounged for made-to-order parts wherever they could find them. They dug into their own pockets to cover salary shortfalls. The wealth wasn’t handed to them. Carrier and Lyle, farm boys who both graduated from Cornell, drove their men hard and themselves harder.
The Carrier team sold its products to businesses, large and small, that spanned the spectrum of human needs and wants. The pope should know that in addition to sparing countless lives from death by heat wave, Carrier designed a special system for Jonas Salk that helped maintain constant temperatures in the vats where Salk’s poliovirus strains grew. The Salk vaccine saved thousands of lives and spearheaded the vaccine revolution.
From Hollywood to the pharmaceutical industry to textiles to the retail industry to the military to homeowners, there isn’t a sector of the American economy that Carrier and Lyle didn’t help transform. Their zealous focus on helping businesses provide better products at cheaper costs resulted in the invaluable byproducts of increased health, comfort and happiness.
While the pope blames commercial enterprises and the “global market economy” for causing “environmental degradation,” it is a worldwide commercial enterprise made in America that solved the human-caused degradation of, and environmental damage to, the Vatican’s most prized art and assets.
If the pontiff truly believes “excessive consumption” of modern conveniences is causing evil “climate change,” will he be shutting down and returning the multimillion-dollar system Carrier generously gifted to the Vatican Museums?
If not, I suggest, with all due respect, that Pope Francis do humanity a favor and refrain from blowing any more hot air unless he’s willing to stew in his own.

Be Careful What You Wish (VOTE) For

As we move closer to our next, and probably the most important election you will ever vote in, the majority of people haven't a clue as to the candidates. Most will consider themselves Patriotic as they walk into the polling place and give their vote to someone they know nothing about except for a few soundbites for or against.
To my amazement Hillary remains popular even though those who say, with a stupid look of adoration on their faces, I like Hillary but when asked why there is no answer. That is because there is nothing that anyone can mention that shows accomplishment on her part.
Anyone my age who has paid attention should remember all the questionable acts which occurred during the Clinton's time in Arkansas and Washington DC. If you can't list them then do yourself a favor and do your homework. Most people will remember, if nothing else, Bill's "I did not have sex with that woman" lie . He was impeached but not removed from office and Hillary was right behind him covering his ass all the way and running a smear campaign against any woman (and there were quite a few) who dared accuse him.
Now she wants to be president. She doesn't want to talk to to the media and answer any questions, she sure does not want to talk about the millions of dollars she and Bill have raked in for speaking fees and contributions (Clinton Foundation) while she was Secretary of State and while the very people paying the speaking fees and making the contributions were receiving favors from our country through determinations made by Hillary as Secretary of State. Did you know she OK'd the sale of our National resources to Russia? The following is from Breitbart.com

There is another, perhaps the biggest problem with Hillary Clinton becoming President. Her name is
Huma Abedin. Huma has been with Hillary for a long time and is reported to be her closest confidant. It was once said that "Hillary wouldn't go out the door without Huma"
So what do you know of Huma, other than the fact that she is married to Weiner...the congressman who sent out pictures of his body to young women.

As Andrew McCarthy noted, Huma Abedin herself “spent 12 years working at a journal intended to aid Islamic domination of the West.”"
Huma has very strong ties with much of the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic groups. If you need to refresh your memory check out the position both Obama and Clinton had regarding Egypt and
enthusiastically supported the ouster of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and favored the the Muslim Brotherhood’s choice for president, Mohammed Morsi, prevail in the presidential run-off election over his more secular army-backed rival. Morsi is now in prison for crimes against the Egyption people.
Huma was by Hillary's side when Hillary Hillary Clinton led the charge within the Obama administration for regime change in Libya. She urged action to overthrow the Gadhafi regime in Libya after the start of an “Arab Spring” uprising in that country.This move was controversial because Gadhafi was no threat to us at the time. He had given up his nuclear weapons years earlier.
Thanks to Obama and Clinton we now have the Fox guarding the hen-house in Washington.
I encourage everyone reading this to please take the time to research this and all that is happening in our country. If citizens don't wake up soon we will soon be a third world country.

Another Child Suicide (or) Has Government Dependency brought us to this.

Once more we hear the sad news that another child has taken his own life because he was the subject of cruel treatment at the hands of his peers. This little boy was fourteen years old and lived in Florida.
Can you imagine yourself at that age, unable to make your own decisions, being dependant upon someone else to keep you safe and out of harms way? Can you imagine the people you love the most sending you to school every day knowing full well what you will be subjected to and you are unable to stop it?
If I try to put myself there I find it horrifying.
This isn't about parents who didn't care about their child. According to what I have heard they had moved from New York to Florida to try to make things better for their child. However, they failed to take the one step that could have offered him protection. They failed him by failing to remove him from the situation. They failed him by expecting someone else to care for his safety. They failed him by failing to understand what government cannot do for him. Government cannot keep him safe.
Government can pass laws but unless they can enforce tthose laws they matter not.
Do you wonder why these parents, and other parents whose children have died because of bullying failed to take the one step that could have removed the threat from their child's life.
One needs not go far back (in years) in our country to find a time when the majority of people were self sufficient. Dealings with the Feds were few and far between and probably most people lived their lives without thinking about the Federal Government except in times of War. They certainly didn't expect interference in their daily lives nor did they expect their fool or housing or education or day to day safety to come from the Federal government.
Schools were local and decision making, regarding the rules and happenings in a school, was a community affair. Any problem arising from a child's behavior was handled promply with the involvement of the parents of the children involved and the teacher.
So what is the change which has allowed so many children to be so bullied, yet forced to go back day after day into this untendable situation, a situation in which they cannot cope, until they are driven to take their own lives?
The biggest change is that government, through it's welfare state mentality, it's Nany state approach, it's "we know best what is good for you" decision making has convinced too many people that the government is always right, that the government will take care of everything, that you need not be responsible and it's not your fault, someone else is responsible for you problems whatever they may be, just go to the closest government entity and all your problems will be solved.
Too many people no longer feel responsible for or about anything and in the cases of bullying in schools they have put their reliance in the government (ie) school to handle everything.
Problem is...the government can't...
We, as citizens of the greatest country in the world, must once more become responsible. Responsible for ourselves, responsible for our children, for our livlihood, for and to our communities.
To think about a young child tryng to deal with something, far out of his//her control, and being forced, by those very people who should love him best into the situation again and again, day after day. is just too sad for words.

Obama's Welfare State of Mind

A Representative, in this case the president, has an obligation to whomever he represents. Obama was elected president with the responsibility to represent We The People.

As our representative he should have our welfare as a primary objective but does he?

"Obama's Welfare State of Mind" does not refer to the welfare state he has created in our country rather it refers to his spending, on himself and his family . The welfare state of mind, I think, is when a person spends unnecessarily using money they did not earn. In Obama's case the money is taxpayer's money and he wastes it at a time when many people are struggling to get by. While people are losing their homes, have lost their jobs and can barely put food on the table.

I know many of you were raised as I was, to believe that you earned what you wanted or needed or you did without. Welfare was something that was not even considered. I still believe that.

To get the records of Obama's travel spending Judicial Watch had to file a lawsuit which they did in 2013. This is the "most transparent administration in history...says he.

While our economy just crawls along, high unemployment, (if the true figures were reported it would be in the 12% range).our country suffering as it has not suffered in many years and with no serious chance of improvement in sight his spending goes on unabated. With the middle east in flames and with the terrorist threat increasing, with scandals so numerous it becomes difficult to even list them all, and with our border totally unsecured the Obama's, like Welfare Queens live high on the hog at taxpayer expense.

In 2013 just their air travel costs, paid for by the US taxpayer, was $7.4 million for only 3 trips. Their Christmas vacation took them to Hawaii. Obama decided he needed to fly back to Washington for a budget deal, then back to Hawaii and then the family flew home. In August Obama flew to California where he met with DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg for a fundraiser then appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. later in August the family flew to Martha's Vineyard for their summer vacation.

Even though Obama promised transparency a lawsuit was necessary to obtain the information.

In addition, the Secret Service entourage accompanying President Obama and his family during their trip to sub-Saharan Africa from June 27 to July 3, 2013, incurred $2,189,727.60 in lodging, entertainment, and security expenses alone. The cost for the Obama family for their air travel for this trip was $8,104,224.

This trip was during the time when the government was shut down due to the sequester, remember when they closed the White House for tours. Little school children whose families had planned their summer vacations around this tour were turned away. They also closed the Veterans Memorial and shut out elderly Veterans some of whom had been flown to Washington on special flights for this special event to see the memorials.

It would seem that Obama's special summer events were much more important than the US citizens planned events. In fact he spent their money on himself and his family and put his lavish lifestyle in first place in front of all else. His welfare, and living on money earned by someone else is certainly welfare, is uppermost in his mind.

And then there is the cost of Obama's golf outings. As of March of this year (2014) he had played a total of 163 rounds of golf. He played 27 times in 2009, 31 times in 2010, 34 times in 2011 but only 19 times in 2012 (an election year) In 2013 he upped his games to 46.

Some costs for this year's golf outings are: February 2014 Palm Springs, California and March 2014 Key Largo, Florida golf outings cost the taxpayers $2,952,278 for flight expenses alone.

In a March spring break trip to Key Largo Fl. the family stayed at a resort, The Ocean Reef Club. where member must have a minimum $35 million net worth to join. This was just after Obama’s State of the Union Address in which he focused on income inequality.

According to FOIA requests the Obama's and the Biden's have spent $40 million on travel since 2009.

Michele rang up the single largest expense for accomodations in Dublin Ireland during the 2013 G-8 conference. The first lady and her entourage booked 30 rooms at the Shelbourne Hotel. Her ladyship's suite, a 1500 square foot extravaganza, cost us $3500 a night. Our bill (as taxpayers) for this trip was $7,921,638.66.

Obama's job as president includes many perks that the ordinary citizen can only dream of. To list them all would be impossible but if the people we elect cannot control themselves and remember that they are working for the American citizens then spending regulations need to be put in place. If they don't realize that they have an obligation to be ever mindful of the fact that every penny spent on themselves takes a penny away from things that could benefit the country then we, as taxpayers, are lax if we don't demand limits.
Presidents have always had a free rein on travel expense and I have not done the research to determine how out of line this president may or may not be, that is not the point. The point is the law should impose caps on White House expense, not just travel but entertaining as well (beyond what is required for foreign dignitaries and things that benefit the country)

As Americans to be good citizens we have an obligation to be aware of what is happening in our government from local to Federal. When we don't we allow ourselves to be taken advantage of and our way of life to be threatened.

They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old, Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave muslim males alone lest they be guilty of profiling. Ask yourself again "Just how stupid are we?"

Have the American people completely lost their minds, or just their power of reason?

Are you following the recent events in Nevada regarding the Bundy family and their fight with the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) over grazing rights? Now in the past few days we are hearing about the BLM laying claim to close to 100,000 acres along the Red River which is the boundary between Texas and Arizona. This land, the Feds claim, belongs to them even though the ranchers have title to the property and have been using the land and paying taxes on it for generations.

Then there is this: (from offgridsurvival.com)

"Two years ago, Andy and Ceil Barrie bought two pieces of land: a house in an established subdivision, and a piece of backcountry land at a higher elevation, accessible by an old mining road.

The backcountry land, which is surrounded by over 2 million acres of White River National Forest, had to be accessed with a utility vehicle because of its remote location. The couple used an old mining road dating back to the 1880s to access their land, and that’s where their problems began.

Even though the couple was using an established mining road, the U.S. Forest Service denied the couple access to their land and then the county demanded the couple sell the land. When they refused, the local county commissioners condemned an old mining cabin that was on the land previous to the Barrie’s purchase of the land, claiming it was being condemned for wiring and plumbing issues – even though the cabin had neither plumbing nor electrical wiring."

...And it goes on to how the couple were forced to give up their land. They received compensation but only enough to pay their legal fees.

These stories should make everyone ask why our government wants all this land. Land, which if you believe the constitution, they have no right to own in the first place. The cost, paid for by taxpayer money, is huge and growing daily. The BLM, a division of the Interior and under controlled of the executive branch of government, should not be a police agency, but it is. So why do they look like storm troopers...So why the big land grabs?

This, I would suggest, is what the land grad is all about. It has been supported by both Republican and Democrat presidents since the 70's.

If this bothers you I hope you will share it. We are a nation which has been dumbed down by our school system for many years and it continues. With the Common core having been implemented in many states the dumb down project is now running like a snowball downhill and gaining momentum all the time.

I believe there are good men running for office in the coming election that can begin to turn things around but no one is going to get these people elected if we don't. It is our job to protect our country. No one else is going to do it for us.

We will not tolerate disrespect of our Russian culture. We had better learn from the suicides of America , England , Holland and France , if we are to survive as a nation.

The Muslims are taking over those countries and they will not take over Russia . The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of culture or the primitive ways of Sharia Law and Muslims. When this honorable legislative body thinks of creating new laws, it should have in mind the Russian national interest first, observing that the Muslims Minorities Are Not Russians.

The politicians in the Duma gave Putin a five minute standing ovation.

There is a move within some of the Tea Party groups to form a more coercive unit by uniting under one group or to choose one leader. This would be a very positive move, however human nature being what it is, I think the move would be fraught with difficulties.

Here is a small suggestion. While it would not create a single unit, where there are many, it would provide a way for people who are Tea Party members or are in agreement with them to show their support.

This decal looks great on the back window of a car or truck and sends a message without being "in your face" like many political statements.

This isn't political... it is American.

Our government, as set forth in our Constitution, is about "We The People".

We are suppose to be in control . after "We The People" the power is to reside in our State Governments and then a very small portion of power, mainly the power to keep us safe, was given to the Federal Government.

We have moved way too far from what made us AMERICA and made AMERICA the best form of government ever created by mankind. Our form of government and the wealth it has allowed to be created has lifted more people out of poverty then anything else ever has or could.

How Many Lies Do We Accept

How many lies are we, the American People, going to accept from our elected and appointed officials in Washington before we say enough?
Since the bombings in Boston by the brothers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the stories about what the FBI knew and what the Homeland security knew and what they both didn't know is astounding.
One group investigated the older brother, ask him if he was a terrorist, he said no so they just dismissed the warning they had received from Russia...What...Are they telling lies or are they just stupid, or do they think we are stupid.
The other group, led by Big Sis Napolitano (as Rush calls her) tells us when the brother left to go to Russia he "pinged" the system but when he returned six months later no one noticed.
This is not the first time those whose job it is to keep us safe has failed in their efforts to detect terrorists after having investigated them. There was the shooter in the Fort Hood killings, the shooter in the Arkansas recruiting office killing, the attempted bomber in Times Square. Were these men ask if they were involved in terrorist plots and did they say no as well?
Then we have the lies surrounding our consulate in Libya and the killing of Ambassador Stevens. Hillary Clinton, under oath, said she did not see any of the requests for additional security, prior to the attacks nor did she refuse any requests for additional security. She stated that all that was handled by lower level staff.
There would, to my mind, certainly be questions regarding her abilities to handle the office of the State Department if she would run so loose an organization that something as important as the security of a consulate in an area as dangerous as Libya would not warrant her attention. Perhaps she was too busy running all over the world playing a role.
Now that a real investigation has been done, the first one was done by one of her cronies and she was not even questioned, has shown proof that she did in fact see documentation regarding security requests and in fact signed them.
In the case of Hillary, will the voting public remember this or even know about it when she runs for President in 2016?
Obama has told so many lies that it has gotten to the point where if asked "is Obama lying", just answer are his lips moving?
And why can he not bring himself to say Muslim Terrorist? The standard answers are "he's in denial", "he cannot see what is real", "he is trying to keep the truth from the American people because we can't handle the truth", he wants to convince us that the war on terror is over and that Al-Qaeda has been stopped.
Nothing could be further from the truth and everyone except Obama and his administration know it. I have my own theory as to why, when asked about Muslim terrorists, Obama always answers instead how great Islam and the muslim religion is, how filled with love and peace.
Far too few American citizens know the real truth of the history of our fights with muslims or of what is going on right now.

How many people know that there are many muslims within the Obama administration. We don't hear the media questioning why. They also never question why all the visits to the White House from members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Also the media, even those on Fox News would rather bite their tongue off rather than say the words, "he lies." Remember the great uproar when a congressman stood up during Obama's first State of the Union speach and said those words. This was in regard to funding for abortions included in the health care bill. It was later shown that the congressman was correct but not much was said about that.
So back to my original question. How many lies do we accept. Do we just continue on for the next three and one half years while our country goes down the tubes. Is it so much better to continue our so called respect for the office when the person sitting in the office is failing to earn our respect by doing what he took an oath to do.

Over the weekend, we came four votes away from the United States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

This is such good information. It is concise and covers so much in such a few words. I received it as an e-mail and I don't know who to give credit for the compilation but I hope there will be many who will read this and share it with others who do not know our history of the how and why of our constitution and of the background of the men who wrote it.

Data Mining Your Childrens Information

It would seem that not a day goes by without something new to worry about comes our way. From our government.

The Federalist papers and other written notes from our Founding Fathers tell us that we must be vigilant about our Freedoms and tells us why it must forever be so. The writings admonish us that "power corrupts."
The writings tell us that if men were angels there would be no reason for laws, but alas that is not so.
The current administration is perhaps the most power hungry administration since Woodrow Wilson and he was power hungry without end.

Unless you become a political junkie you cannot keep up with all that is happening. The power guys and their corrupt media in Washington also have a very effective method of changing the scenery as quickly as the stage hands at a Broadway play. Just watch, when things start getting a little warm around Obama's feet the subject changes.

The latest big thing to come to my attention very quietly, is something called Common Core. It is being silently, has been in many cases, slipped into our school systems. If you have been worried about what has been going on in schools with the elimination of our true history, the elimination of the greatness of our country, to be replaced with the wonders of Communism, the collective replacing personal freedoms then this should really shake you to your core.

Along with Common Core is a giant data mining project which will collect every possible bit of information about your child and through your child, you and your family, your income level, your religious beliefs, your political leanings and on and on.

Our privacy rights are suppose to be guaranteed by the government but this project has been given the green light to collect and use every bit of information they can collect.
Your child's future life will be determined based on this collection of evidence, he will be evaluated by a teacher not trained in child development or physiology. The decision on what your child will be taught and what vocation the child will pursue will be determined not by you, the parent, but by the collective.
There is so much that we all need to know about this. It is so new that the information is just now spilling out a little at a time I cannot begin to give you the information you need to know.

If you are concerned about our country, about the country your children or grandchildren will live in it is imperative you get involved and work to get this out of our schooll systems.
This is not a democrat or republican thing, this is a progressive thing and it has wormed it's way into both political parties.

If you wonder why we can't make headway in Washington, why nothing gets done it is because there are far too many politicians, long established, who have bought into the progressive movement.
This movement is not new. It has been around since the beginning of our public school system and like a cancer it has slowly spread it's roots until now it is throughout the whole systme.
i encourage you to do your own research. Google Common Core. Find out what is being done in your state to end it. Then join in and do your part. This must be fought as a State issue.

I have been a political news junkie for the past five years or so and thought I was up to date on most of what was out there but this just crossed my path a few nights ago when I watched Glenn Beck on The Blaze. He had a group discussion with some very impressive folks. i was really shocked.

There are a couple of real disappoints here for me. It seems that Jeb Bush has been instrumental in pushing Common Core and Bill and Melinda Gates have contributed a huge sum of money to the Date Mining project. I am going to guess that in both cases perhaps they believe this is for the best but like the progressive reasoning behind all of this, they believe they are superior to the rest of us. They believe that the multitudes, if left to our own devices, can only flounder around. They know best.

Remember this. There has never been a successful Communist or Socialist society. They cannot succeed because when individual incentive is removed by saying "no matter how hard you work you cannot make mre than the next guy,' when this occurs we have lost the very thing that made America the greatest county ever known. And in a relatively short time.

Our free market, Capitalist way of life has pulled more people out of poverty than any thing else has ever even come close to. WE must work to get rid of the people in Washington who do not believe in the American way and replace them with people who do.

Come on all of you who have not done one thing to turn this mess around. We will all either stand together or we will fall together. What is your preference? You need to get informed and convince at least one more person about Freedom, about our Rights and how valuable they are. Freedom and Rights to make our own decisions, decisions concerning our children, our healthcare, gun ownership and all our rights to Life Liberty and The pursuit of Happiness. By the way did you know that originally that was Life, Liberty and the right to own Property? That is where our Property rights originated and if we don't stand up soon we will lose that as well.

Do you believe that the election last November was an honest election or do you feel, as I do, that there is reason to believe the election was stolen. The progressives in their fight against voter ID always say the same thing “there is no voter fraud in our country” yet time and time again investigations prove the opposite with people having voted not once, not twice but in some cases as many as eight times. In fact there have been several people found guilty of voter fraud in connection with Acorn.

Currently there is a case before the Supreme Court regarding the Voters Rights law which has been in effect since the 70’s. This gave the Federal Government control over voter laws in several states and has prohibited these states from putting voter ID laws into effect. This law was the result of the Civil Rights movement and fell on any state which had practiced voter discrimination. If you remember several states, prior to the last election were sued by the Justice Department, Eric Holder over their desire to require an ID before a vote could be cast. Hopefully the portion of this law which gives the government this unconstitutional power will be struck down and more states can require an ID. This would certainly help clean up voter fraud but when a group with overwhelming power and the support of the media (to do it’s bidding) decide to steal an election it will take an equally overwhelming and determined group to fight back.

Enter “True The Vote”. This group has as its objective the desire to make sure our elections are run honestly and fairly. If you are feel like we are slowly losing our freedoms and rights, that they are being stolen from us and that we are powerless, as individuals to stop it here is your opportunity to really help make a difference.

You can volunteer and join a group locally, remember voting, even for a National office is still really a local event. If you can’t volunteer I would ask that you consider a donation to this group.

They are currently investigating suspected fraud in the 2012 elections. Specifically one of their investigations is regarding the St Lucie county elections where Congressman Alan West lost his seat in a very questionable election.

John Stuart Mill’s classic essay “On Liberty” gives reasons why some people should not be taking over other people’s decisions about their own lives. But Professor Cass Sunstein of Harvard has given reasons to the contrary. He cites research showing “that people make a lot of mistakes, and that those mistakes can prove extremely damaging.”
Professor Sunstein is undoubtedly correct that “people make a lot of mistakes.” Most of us can look back over our own lives and see many mistakes, including some that were very damaging.
What Cass Sunstein does not tell us is what sort of creatures, other than people, are going to override our mistaken decisions for us. That is the key flaw in the theory and agenda of the left.

Implicit in the wide range of efforts on the left to get government to take over more of our decisions for us is the assumption that there is some superior class of people who are either wiser or nobler than the rest of us.
Yes, we all make mistakes. But do governments not make bigger and more catastrophic mistakes?
Think about the First World War, from which nations on both sides ended up worse off than before, after an unprecedented carnage that killed substantial fractions of whole younger generations and left millions starving amid the rubble of war.

Think about the Holocaust, and about other government slaughters of even more millions of innocent men, women and children under Communist governments in the Soviet Union and China.
Even in the United States, government policies in the 1930s led to crops being plowed under, thousands of little pigs being slaughtered and buried, and milk being poured down sewers, at a time when many Americans were suffering from hunger and diseases caused by malnutrition.

The Great Depression of the 1930s, in which millions of people were plunged into poverty in even the most prosperous nations, was needlessly prolonged by government policies now recognized in retrospect as foolish and irresponsible.

One of the key differences between mistakes that we make in our own lives and mistakes made by governments is that bad consequences force us to correct our own mistakes.
But government officials cannot admit to making a mistake without jeopardizing their whole careers.
Can you imagine a President of the United States saying to the mothers of America, “I am sorry your sons were killed in a war I never should have gotten us into”?

What is even more relevant to Professor Sunstein’s desire to have our betters tell us how to live our lives, is that so many oppressive and even catastrophic government policies were cheered on by the intelligentsia.
Back in the 1930s, for example, totalitarianism was considered to be “the wave of the future” by much of the intelligentsia, not only in the totalitarian countries themselves but in democratic nations as well.

The Soviet Union was being praised to the skies by such literary luminaries as George Bernard Shaw in Britain and Edmund Wilson in America, while literally millions of people were being systematically starved to death by Stalin and masses of others were being shipped off to slave labor camps.
Even Hitler and Mussolini had their supporters or apologists among intellectuals in the Western democracies, including at one time Lincoln Steffens and W.E.B. Du Bois.

An even larger array of the intellectual elite in the 1930s opposed the efforts of Western democracies to respond to Hitler’s massive military buildup with offsetting military defense buildups to deter Hitler or to defend themselves if deterrence failed.

“Disarmament” was the mantra of the day among the intelligentsia, often garnished with the suggestion that the Western democracies should “set an example” for other nations — as if Nazi Germany or imperial Japan was likely to follow their example

Too many among today’s intellectual elite see themselves as our shepherds and us as their sheep. Tragically, too many of us are apparently willing to be sheep, in exchange for being taken care of, being relieved of the burdens of adult responsibility and being supplied with “free” stuff paid for by others.

Everyday more and more sneaks out into the news about what the Progressives really want to do to our 2nd Amendments and what they are doing to reach their goals.

If you really think it is just about certain guns and clips you need to do a little more research. Obama was quoted as having said, several years ago, "I really don't see why anyone should own a gun." Really Mr President. I guess you don't question why your security guard has guns or why the people guarding your wife and children have guns. Only us...the common folks.

Did you know that the administration is putting on a concerted effort to get gun control laws passed in Colorado because it will then become easier to pass them in other states.

I hope you read the letter I posted a few days ago. It was written by a survivor of the Columbine shootings to Obama. It is really an excellent letter and provides us with many good arguments against gun control.

As to Biden's suggestion about all us girls should use a shotgun for protection. Really Joe. Would you please post a video of your wife Jill firing off a 10 gauge. There is a video going around showing women being knocked on their butts from firing off "a couple of rounds." It would be funny if the issue weren't so serious.
