This is a Stage 1, psychic type Pokemon card, with an hp of 110. It has a x2 weakness to psychic type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a three colorless energy card retreat cost. Darmanitan doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Synchrodraw which takes one psychic energy card and allows you to shuffle your hand into your deck and draw new cards so you have the same amount of cards in your hand as your opponent. Darmanitan's second move is called DarMAXitan and for two colorless energy cards this move does 50 damage times the number of heads you get when you flip a coin for each energy card attached to Darmanitan.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, if you were just looking for a decent attacker for a Pokemon card this card may fit your bill. It only requires colorless energy cards to attack so it can fit in any deck. I would also consider using this card for Synchrodraw but you may be able to find a trainer or supporter card that does pretty much the same thing as this move. I would have liked to have seen Darmanitan's Ability to Synchrodraw instead of its first move. But when you do get Darmanitan into the active Pokemon spot, hopefully with at least three energy cards attached to it, this card can do some damage and the more energy cards you stock up on this Pokemon the more potential damage you can do.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. This card is pretty average to me, it has one good move and one okay move, it has a good hp but a bad retreat cost, and the one good move it has might result in nothing if you aren't very lucky. So I think this card has some great things about it and some poor things about it and these ups and downs offset to make this card quite average.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Darmanitan from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Beheeyem from the same set.

This is a Stage 1, psychic type Pokemon card, with an hp of 100. It has a x2 weakness to psychic type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a three colorless energy card retreat cost. Musharna's Ability is called Forewarn and says that once per durn you may look at the top two cards of your deck and then choose one of them and put that card in your hand. Besides the Ability, Musharna only has one move called Fluffy Dream which takes two psychic energy cards and does 40 damage, however after performing this move, Musharna is asleep.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this card is similar to yesterday's card, you are only going to use this card for its Ability. This card is better than yesterday since this is Stage 1 instead of Stage 2 so you can get Musharna out quicker. I would keep Mursharna on my bench the whole time, just using Forewarn. I would include a lot of Pokemon in my deck that are Stage 2 or require a lot of energy cards since Forewarn will allow you to go through more cards in your deck faster than normal.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. Once again, this card is absolutely horrible outside of its Ability. Since its Ability is so good and the rest of the card is so bad, I am going to give this card an average score. I would consider putting this card in my deck, especially if you need to go through a lot of your cards quickly.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Musharna from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Darmanitan from the same set.

This is a Stage 2, psychic type Pokemon card, with an hp of 110. It has a x2 weakness to psychic type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Gardevoir's Ability is called Psychic Mirage and says that each Psychic energy card attached to your Psychic Pokemon counts as two energy instead of one. Gardevoir's only move is called Mind Shock and for four energy cards, two each of psychic and colorless it does 60 damage, which can't be affected by resistance or weakness.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, the only reason you would use this card is if you were building a psychic type deck, that way you could use Gardevoir's Psychic Mirage to increase the quickness of all your psychic Pokemon. So I would keep Gardevoir on my bench at all times, and if for some unfortunate reason you have to use Gardevoir as your active Pokemon, your only choice is to use Mind Shock.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. This card is absolutely horrible outside of its Ability. For a stage 2 Pokemon its hp is way too low and it requires 4 energy cards to attack, it just isn't worth it, so if you aren't going to use its Ability, don't use this card in your deck.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Gardevoir from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Musharna from the same set.

Mewtwo doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called X Ball and takes two colorless energy cards and does 20 damage times the number of energy attached to Mewtwo and the defending Pokemon. Mewtwo's second move is called Psydrive and for three energy cards, two psychic and one colorless, it does 120 damage, after attacking you must remove an energy card from Mewtwo.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this is a great card to keep on your bench and put into play at two different times, the first scenario would be if the defending Pokemon has a ton of energy cards attached to it, I would put Mewtwo in and use X Ball and hopefully knock out that defending Pokemon in one turn. The other scenario would be when I get three or more energy cards attached to Mewtwo then I would put Mewtwo in the active Pokemon spot and use Psydrive as many times as I could.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 5 out of 5 rating. This is another one of those amazing EX Cards from this set, this card is so powerful and can take down any Pokemon in two moves or less. As long as you get energy on Mewtwo fairly quickly this card is unstoppable. I would put this card in every psychic deck I would make.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Mewtwo EX from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Gardevoir from the same set.

This is a stage 1, psychic type Pokemon card, with an hp of 110. It has a x2 weakness to psychic type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a four colorless energy card retreat cost. Muk doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Gentle Wrap and for two energy cards, one each of colorless and psychic it does 20 damage and makes the defending Pokemon unable to retreat during their next turn. Muk's second move is called Toxic Secretion and for four energy cards, three colorless and one psychic, it does 60 damage and poisons the defending Pokemon, however you may put 2 damage counters on the poisoned Pokemon between turns instead of 1.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, to really do some damage with this card you're going to have to load on the energy cards onto Muk. When you do I would use Toxic Secretion and poison the defending Pokemon, however you are probably not going to retreat after that since Muk's retreat cost is so high so you're going to have to keep using Toxic Secretion until you either win the game or Muk is knocked out.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating. For a stage 1 Pokemon card, this card is way too slow and really can't do much damage. And by the time you get four energy cards attached to Muk and do some damage you just have to discard them all to retreat Muk. I'm sure there are better Pokemon out there to poison the defending Pokemon and I suggest you take a look at those.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Muk from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Mewtwo EX from the same set.

This is the second of two consecutive Zekrom reviews, yesterday's review was of the holo version. This is a basic, EX, electric type Pokemon card, with an hp of 180. It has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a three colorless energy card retreat cost. Zekrom doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Glinting Claw which takes three energy cards, two electric and one colorless, and does 50 damage plus 30 more damage if you get a heads when you flip a coin. Zekrom's second move is called Strong Volt and does 150 damage for four energy cards, two each of colorless and electric. However after doing the attack, you have to discard two energy cards from Zekrom.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, you'll want to get at least 3 energy cards on Zekrom before putting it in the active Pokemon spot, I personally would put 5 or 6 on it, that way when I put it in the active Pokemon spot I can perform Strong Volt more than one time in a row and still have enough energy cards. If you were to incorporate this card in your electric type deck I would make sure to include more energy cards than normal since this card will be discarding quite a few. So when possible I would use Strong Volt, otherwise I would use Glinting Claw.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. Even though this card has a massive amount of hp and can do a massive amount of damage, this card is pretty average, especially for an EX card. I actually prefer the regular Zekrom holo over the EX version.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Zekrom EX from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Muk from the same set.

Zekrom's second move is called Bolt Strike which takes three energy cards, two electric and one colorless, and does 120 damage however it does 40 damage to itself.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, you'll want to get three energy cards on this card before you put it into the active Pokemon spot, when you have three energy cards on it, put it in that active Pokemon spot and use Bolt Strike as often as you can until you don't have much remaining hp, then use Outrage until you either die or retreat. I'll have to see how this card compares to the EX version, but I would recommend at least two of these cards in an electric type deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 5 out of 5 rating. This card deserves a perfect rating because this card not only has one move that can do more than 100 damage every turn but two. Any card that is capable of doing that deserves a 5 out of 5 in my book. This card is actually quicker than Reshiram which is very similar so if you like power I would recommend building an electric and fire type deck and include both of these cards.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Zekrom from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Zekrom EX from the same set.

This is a stage 1, electric type Pokemon card, with an hp of 90. It has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a free retreat cost. Zebstrika doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Disconnect and for two energy cards, one each of colorless and electric, Zebstrika does 40 damage and prevents your opponent from playing any Item cards their next turn. Zebstrika's second move is called Lightning Crash and takes three energy cards, two electric and one colorless, to do 80 damage to one of your opponent's Pokemon. However you must discard all electric energy cards attached to Zebstrika after attacking.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since Zebstrika is a stage 2 Pokemon card, you'll want to set it up on your bench before putting it into the active Pokemon spot. Once you get three energy cards attached to Zebstrika, I would recommend putting it in when you can for sure knock out a Pokemon by doing 80 damage to it, I would put Zebstrika in, use Lightning Crash and retreat it the next turn for free. I would also make sure to include more than electric type energy cards in the deck I'm using Zebstrika in so it won't take so long to refill Zebstrika with energy cards after using Lightning Crash.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating. In my opinion, this just isn't a very good card, it would be a one out of five if it had a retreat cost but since it has a free retreat cost, I bumped up the rating by one. There just isn't anything about this card that stands out to me, and with all of these outlandishly good cards in the newer sets this one isn't worth putting in a deck.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Zebstrika from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Zekrom from the same set.

This is a stage 2, electric type Pokemon card, with an hp of 140. It has a x2 weakness to fighting type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Luxray doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Flash Impact which takes one electric energy card and does 60 damage, however this move does 20 damage to one of your Pokemon. Luxray's second move is called Crunch which takes three energy cards, two electric and one colorless, and does 80 damage, and if you get a heads when you flip a coin, you may discard an energy card from the defending Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this is a fairly fast Stage 2 Pokemon card, so if you can quickly get Luxray into play you can do 60 damage for only one energy card. I would suggest setting up Luxray on your bench and then putting it in when you can use Crunch every turn, and with some luck, you may discard some energy cards from the defending Pokemon and they might not be able to attack you every turn. Luxray's retreat cost is low, so if you get in trouble you can easily retreat it.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. Overall Luxray is pretty good, with a good hp, and a move that does 80 damage every turn. I really don't like Flash Impact as a move, for one, if you're going to use a Stage 2 Pokemon, more than likely you'll have a ton of energy cards attached to it by the time you get it into play, and secondly, I don't think you should have to do damage to your own Pokemon to do only 60 damage.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Luxray from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Zebstrika from the same set.

This is a basic, electric type Pokemon card, with an hp of 120. It has a x2 weakness to electric type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Zapdos doesn't have an Ability, but it does have two moves, the first move is called Random Spark which takes three energy cards, two colorless and one electric and does 50 damage to one of your opponent's Pokemon. Zapdos's second move is called Thundering Hurricane which takes four energy cards, three colorless and one electric and does 50 damage times the number of heads you get when you flip four coins.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this card is pretty versatile since it requires mostly colorless energy cards to attack, so this card can be included in many types of decks as long as there are a few electric energy cards in the deck. Random Spark may make this card a perfect fit for a spread damage type deck, since you can get 10 or 20 damage on many of your opponent's benched Pokemon with another Pokemon in your deck then put Zapdos in and use Random Spark and hopefully knock one of your opponent's benched Pokemon out with the 50 damage from the move. But if you need to knock out a Pokemon with a massive amount of damage Thunderous Hurricane can do up to 200 damage every turn!

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. With some luck, and patience, this card could knock out every one of your opponent's Pokemon in one move using Thundering Hurricane. The only downside about this card is that 120 hp isn't too high, and as a basic Pokemon this card may have to get thrown into the active Pokemon spot when it isn't ready to attack. But overall it is a very good card that I would definitely use in an electric type deck.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Zapdos from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Luxray from the same set.

This is a basic, EX, water type Pokemon card with an hp of 180. It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a three colorless energy card retreat cost. Kyurem EX doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Frozen Wings which takes three energy cards, two colorless and one water, and does 60 damage and lets you remove a special energy card from the defending Pokemon if they have one attached. Kyurem's second move is called Hail Blizzard and for four energy cards, two each of water and colorless, it does 120 damage, however Hail Blizzard can't be used two turns in a row.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since this is an EX card you're going to want to set this card up on your bench before putting it in the active Pokemon spot, because you don't want to get any damage on it prematurely and not be able to utilize an EX card to its full potential. Once you have four energy cards attached to Kyurem, it is extremely straightforward, I would use Hail Blizzard first then use Frozen Wings second since you're forced to. Depending on the point in the game, you'll have to decide if you can let Kyurem get knocked out or if you should retreat it. This is a very powerful card to have in any water type deck.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. This is an extremely powerful EX Pokemon card, not as powerful as Reshiram EX, so that's why I am giving it a 4 out of 5 rating. This card can basically do 90 damage every turn, which is amazing, and is a must have in any water type deck you would consider building.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Kyurem EX from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Zapdos from the same set.

This is a Stage 1, water type Pokemon card, with an hp of 120. It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a three colorless energy card retreat cost. Beartic doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Daunt which does 40 damage for two colorless energy cards. Besides doing the damage, any damage done to Beartic during your opponent's next turn is reduced by 20. Beartic's second move is called Ambush which takes three energy cards, two colorless and one water and does 60 damage plus 30 more damage if you get a heads when you flip a coin.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this is a great water type Pokemon card to include in a water type deck. I like how its first move improves Beartic's defense and makes its 120 hp seem even higher and with some luck Beartic can do 90 damage every turn with Ambush. I would recommend setting this card up on your bench and when you put Beartic in the active Pokemon spot using Ambush every turn, unless the defending Pokemon will be knocked out by only 40 damage then I would use Daunt so Beartic's defense is increased the next turn.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. Even though this card can do a major amount of damage with Ambush, I think overall this card is an average card. 90 damage per turn is great, don't get me wrong, but Beartic's retreat cost is a little high, and Beartic is pretty slow so you're going to have to spend some time setting it up on your bench before it can be very effective.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Beartic from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Kyurem EX from the same set.

This is a Stage 1, water type Pokemon card, with an hp of 120. It has a x2 weakness to electric type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Jellicent doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Vengeful Wish and for one colorless energy card, this move does whatever amount of damage was done to Jellicent the previous turn. Jellicent's second move is called Absorb Life which takes three energy cards, two water and one colorless, and does 30 damage plus heals 30 damage from Jellicent.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, you may want to have one of these cards in your deck just in case your opponent has a Pokemon that has a really good attack, as long as that move is below 120 damage, you can go against that Pokemon with Jellicent and use Vengeful Wish and do the same amount of damage right back to the Pokemon who attacked you. Hopefully doing that will knock out the opposing Pokemon so you can use Absorb Life the next turn and heal some damage on Jellicent. So strategy-wise, if the defending Pokemon isn't very good, I would keep Jellicent on my bench.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating. This is one of those cards that really depends on the defending Pokemon to be any good. I personally don't like Jellicent's Absorb Life move, I think it doesn't do enough damage for three energy cards and with 120 hp, getting 30 of it back isn't that significant. So that is why I rate this card a little lower than average.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Jellicent from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Beartic from the same set.

This is a Stage 2, water type Pokemon card, with an hp of 130. It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Vanilluxe's Ability is called Slippery Soles and says that once per turn, you may choose to switch your active Pokemon with one of your benched Pokemon, if you choose to do this, your opponent must do the same. Besides the Ability, Vanilluxe has one move called Crushing Ice which does 60 damage plus 10 more damage for each colorless energy card in the opponent's active Pokemon's retreat cost.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this card can do wonders for you and give nightmares to your opponent with all the switching that will be taking place with this card's Ability. It won't matter what the retreat costs of any of your own Pokemon are when you have Vanilluxe on your bench. So at the minimum you'll want to have Vanilluxe on your bench at all times. When you get Vanilluxe into the active Pokemon spot you only have one choice since it only has one move, but the move will get even better the more powerful the defending Pokemon is, because the more powerful Pokemon usually have higher hp.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. Even though this card may take awhile to get into play since it is stage 2, I like this card quite a bit. I especially like its Ability, which my whole deck would be based around. I would make sure to have a 4-3-2 line of this Pokemon in my deck and have a Vanilluxe on my bench at all times, then all of my other Pokemon could have massive retreat costs but it wouldn't matter, I'd be able to move my Pokemon in and out of the active Pokemon spot at will.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Vanilluxe from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Jellicent from the same set.

This is a Stage 1, water type Pokemon card, with an hp of 90. It has a x2 weakness to electric type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Before I get too far into the review, this card is quite similar to both Simisage and Simisear (I've reviewed both cards already). Simipour's first move is called Collect and lets you draw 3 cards from your deck for 1 water energy card. Simipour's second move is called Stadium Wave and for two energy cards, one each of water and colorless, it does 30 damage plus 30 more damage and puts the defending Pokemon to sleep if there is a Stadium Card in play.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this card would work nicely in a dual type deck with either Simisage or Simisear since all three cards require Stadium Cards to be effective. So strategy-wise this is a good card to get into play right away so you can draw cards from your deck if you need energy cards or are hoping for stage 1 or 2 Pokemon to evolved your benched Pokemon, you can use Collect to achieve these tasks. Otherwise, make sure you have a Stadium Card in play and use Stadium Wave every turn.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. Out of the three Simi's from this deck, I like Simisage the best and gave it a 4 out of 5 rating, all three cards are good but I like that one best. It is nice that on this card the retreat cost is low and can be retreated if a Stadium Card isn't in play.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Simipour from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Vanilluxe from the same set.

This is a basic, water type Pokemon card, with an hp of 120. It has a x2 weakness to metal type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Articuno doesn't have an Ability, but it does have two moves, the first move is called Ice Beam which does 50 damage for three energy cards, two colorless and one water, and if you get a heads when you flip a coin the defending Pokemon is paralyzed. Articuno's second move is called Ice Wing which does 80 damage for four energy cards, three colorless and one water.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, the first thing you should notice about this card is that it requires many colorless type energy cards meaning this card is very versatile and can fit in many different decks. I would prefer to set up this card on my bench and put it in when it has four energy cards on it and then be able to do 80 damage every turn. And since Articuno has 120 hp, it should be able to last a fair amount of time in battle. I would consider using Ice Beam if the defending Pokemon has more than 160 hp and won't be knocked out by 80 damage.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. This is a pretty good, basic, water type Pokemon card since it has a high hp and both of its moves are quite good. So if you're looking for an attacker in your water type deck I would consider putting a few of these in your deck. The only downside to this card is that it is basic and it requires at least three energy cards to attack.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Articuno from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Simipour from the same set.

This is a basic, water type Pokemon card, with an hp of 100. It has a x2 weakness to electric type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Lapras doesn't have an Ability, but it does have two moves, the first move is called Call for Family and takes one water energy card and allows you to search your deck for two basic Pokemon and put them on your bench. Lapras's second move is called Reckless Charge which does 40 damage for two colorless energy cards, however this move does 20 damage to Lapras.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this would be a decent starter Pokemon since it can quickly get other basic Pokemon on your bench, and even though it would be a fairly slow starter Pokemon, when you get the necessary energy on it, it could knock out a weak basic Pokemon in a turn or two. I would possibly have one Lapras in my deck and just use Call for Family and not attack with this card.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 1 out of 5 rating. I don't like this card at all, it has a high hp, but that is where the positivity stops with this card. A trainer card can easily replace Lapras's first move, and it doesn't make any sense to attack with Reckless when it only does 40 damage to the other Pokemon and 20 damage to yourself.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Lapras from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Articuno from the same set.

This is the second of two Reshiram card reviews from this set, the regular holo version was reviewed yesterday. This is a basic, EX, fire type Pokemon card, with an hp of 180. It has a x2 weakness to water type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a three colorless energy card retreat cost. Reshiram doesn't have an Ability, but it does have two moves, the first move is called Glinting Claws which does 50 damage plus 30 more damage if you get a heads when you flip coin, Reshiram does all this for only three energy cards, two colorless, and one fire. Reshiram's second move is called Brave Fire which does 150 damage for 4 energy cards, two each of fire and colorless. However when using this move, you must flip a coin, if you get a tails, Reshiram does 50 damage to itself.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, since this is such a powerful EX Pokemon card that can do major damage, you'll definitely want to stock this card up with energy cards on your bench before you put it into the active Pokemon position. That way you prevent or reduce the risk of getting knocked out by your own damage when using Brave Fire. I would be brave enough to use Brave Fire in battle, especially if 80 damage won't knock out the defending Pokemon in one turn. With 180 hp I will take the risk of doing 50 damage to Reshiram. You may want to have some potions in your deck to remove that self inflicted damage though, so you can do 150 damage to numerous Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 5 out of 5 rating. This is the card I have always imagined an EX card would be like, extremely high hp and two massive moves, it doesn't even matter what else is on the card, just knowing this card can do 150 damage every tun makes this card a 5 out of 5. I would definitely build a fire deck and put 4 Reshirams in the deck, 2 each of EX and regular.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Reshiram EX from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Lapras from the same set.

This is the first of two Reshiram card reviews from this set, tomorrow I'll be reviewing the EX version. This is a basic, fire type Pokemon card, with an hp of 130. It has a x2 weakness to water type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Reshiram doesn't have an Ability, but it does have two moves, the first move is called Outrage which does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on Reshiram for two colorless energy cards. Reshiram's second move is called Blue Flare which does 120 damage for three energy cards, two fire and one colorless, however after using this move you must discard two fire energy cards from Reshiram.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, you'll want to figure out a quick way to get energy cards attached to Reshiram so you can use Blue Flare at least every other turn. So whenever possibly, I would use Blue Flare but if Reshiram is close to dying, I wouldn't retreat it, I would use Outrage a couple of turns in a row and hopefully knock out a couple of Pokemon on my wait out with Outrage. I'll have to see how this card compares to the EX card tomorrow, but I think this Reshiram card is pretty powerful.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. Any card that can do over 100 damage in a single turn is a great card. Not only can Blue Flare do 100+ damage but Outrage can do 100+ damage as well. The only disappointing this about this card is that you have to discard 2 energy cards when using Blue Flare but I guess that is only fair since the move does so much damage.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Reshiram from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Reshiram EX from the same set.

This is the first of two Chandelure card reviews from this set, the other Chandulure is a Psychic type card. This is a Stage 2, fire type Pokemon card, with an hp of 120. It has a x2 weakness to water type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a two colorless energy card retreat cost. Chandelure doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Flame Burst and for one fire energy card it does 30 damage plus 20 damage to two of your opponent's benched Pokemon. Chandelure's second move is called Inferno which takes two energy cards, one each of fire and colorless and does 80 damage and burns the defending Pokemon, however after using this move you must discard all energy attached to Chandelure.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this is one quick Stage 2 Pokemon card that doesn't require much energy to attack. I personally like Flame Blast better than Inferno because it spreads damage around and only requires 1 energy card to do so. So you'll want to definitely include this card in a deck with other spread damage type Pokemon. When attacking, depending on the amount of damage needed to knock out the defending Pokemon, I would probably switch back and forth between the two moves.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. Like I said in the strategy part of this review, this card is extremely fast for a stage 2 card, with that being said, this card doesn't have a very high hp for a Stage 2 so it may get knocked out sooner than other Stage 2 Pokemon, but boy, can this card pack a punch. As long as you have energy cards in your hand this card can attack every turn and after three turns, this card has the possibility of knocking out some basic Pokemon on your opponent's bench.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Chandelure from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Reshiram from the same set.

This is a Stage 1, fire type Pokemon card, with an hp of 90. It has a x2 weakness to water type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a one colorless energy card retreat cost. Simisear doesn't have an Ability but it does have two moves, the first move is called Collect and for one fire energy card, it allows you to draw three cards from your deck. Simisear's second move is called Stadium Burn which takes two energy cards, one each of colorless and fire and does 30 damage plus 30 more damage and burns the defending Pokemon if there is a Stadium card in play. So this card is essentially the same as Simisage, but instead of healing itself by 30 damage, Simisear burns the defending Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, like Simisage, you'll want to have plenty of Stadium cards in your deck to make sure Stadium Burn is effective. Without that Stadium Card in play this card isn't too great. I would actually suggest building a dual type deck with grass and fire Pokemon cards and using Simisear and Simisage in the deck with Stadium cards. Once Simisear is in the active Pokemon spot you'll want to attack every turn with Stadium Burn unless you need to either evolve your benched Pokemon or get some energy cards, then I would use Collect instead of Stadium Burn.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 3 out of 5 rating. Even though this card is almost identical to Simisage and I gave that card a 4 out of 5 rating, I think this card is a little worse because I don't like this card's second move as much as I like the one on Simisage. Other than Stadium Burn this card is average overall, it has an average hp with 90, and average to below average moves without the Stadium card in play. I do like that its retreat cost is low.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Simisear from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Chandelure from the same set.

This is a basic, fire type Pokemon card, with an hp of 120. It has a x2 weakness to water type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to fighting type Pokemon, and a 2 colorless energy card retreat cost. Moltres doesn't have an Ability, but it does have two moves, the first move is called Searing Flame, which does 50 damage and burns the defending Pokemon for 3 energy cards, two colorless and one fire. Moltres's second move is called Fire Blast and does 90 damage for 4 energy cards, three colorless, and one fire. However after using this move, you must discard a fire energy card from Moltres.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, one thing you'll have to notice about this card is that it requires mainly colorless energy cards so this card is very versatile and can fit in many different decks. The second thing that this card has is two powerful moves, I would just make sure you have plenty of energy cards in your deck, and ways to get those energy cards quickly so you can use Fire Blast every turn when Moltres is your active Pokemon.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. I like pretty much everything about this card, I like how it has a high hp for a basic Pokemon, and both of its moves can do a fair amount of damage, the one doing less damage also inflicts a special condition. The one thing I would be weary of is putting this card into the active Pokemon spot too quickly, this card is slow, and needs to be set up on your bench before put into the active Pokemon spot.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Moltres from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Simisear from the same set.

Before I get too far into the review, I can't believe how excited I am to see the original Pokemon in these newer sets! This is a stage 1, fire type Pokemon card, with an hp of 130. It has a x2 weakness to water type Pokemon, no resistance type, and a 3 colorless energy card retreat cost. Arcanine's Ability is called Blazing Mane and says that whenever this Pokemon is your active Pokemon and damaged or even knocked out by the defending Pokemon, that Pokemon is burned. Besides the Ability, Arcanine has one move called Fire Spin which takes three energy cards, two fire and one colorless, and does 100 damage. However, after using this move, you must flip a coin, if you get a tails, you must discard two energy cards attached to Arcanine.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this is definitely a strong defensive card since it prevents your opponent from wanting to attack you since it will get burned, and with 130 hp, it will last awhile even if it does get attacked. With that being said, you'll need some luck with this card so you can potentially use Fire Spin more than one turn in a row. A way to prevent this, is to attach more than 3 cards to Arcanine so if you do flip a tails when you use Fire Spin, you should have enough energy cards attached to it by the next turn to attack again. Since Arcanine only has the one move, you have no choice but to use Fire Spin every turn.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. Even though this card requires some luck for it to be really good, I like the fact that it has a high hp, and a powerful attack that can knock most Pokemon out in a turn, every Pokemon out in two. Also this card's Ability is better than Amoonguss's from yesterday, because you can use Arcanine's Ability more than once and burn numerous attacking Pokemon. Since this card does require some luck I wouldn't put too many of these in a fire type deck.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Arcanine from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Moltres from the same set.

This is a stage 1, grass type Pokemon card, with an hp of 90. It has a x2 weakness to fire type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to water type Pokemon, and a 2 colorless energy card retreat cost (All of these things seem awfully eery to yesterday's review). Amoonguss's Ability is called Sporprise which says that when you play Amoonguss from your hand to evolve one of your Pokemon, if you choose to use this Ability, your opponent's active Pokemon is both confused and poisoned. Besides the Ability, Amoonguss has one move called Rising Lunge which takes two energy cards, one each of grass and colorless and does 20 damage, however if you get a heads when you flip a coin this move does 30 more damage.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, if you were to use this card in your deck, you would want to choose a very strategic time to evolve Foonguss into Amoonguss so you could make the greatest impact on your opponent's active Pokemon using Amoonguss's Ability. I would include this card in a grass type deck that includes a lot of Pokemon that can poison and confuse the defending Pokemon, as well as spread damage around. Once you get Amoonguss in, you'll just have to roll with Rising Lunge every turn and hope for that heads.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 2 out of 5 rating. This card has a great Ability, but that Ability can only be used once, and once the Ability is used, this card can't do much else, especially if luck isn't on your side. I personally wouldn't use this card in my deck, but if you do, I would only use a 2-1 line with Foonguss.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Amoonguss from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Arcanine from the same set.

This is a stage 1, grass type Pokemon card, with an hp of 90. It has a x2 weakness to fire type Pokemon, a -20 resistance to water type Pokemon, and a 2 colorless energy card retreat cost. Simisage doesn't have an Ability, but it does have two moves, the first move is called Collect, which takes one grass energy card and allows you to draw three cards from your deck. Simisage's second move is called Stadium Drain which takes two energy cards, one each of colorless and grass and does 30 damage plus 30 more damage and heals 30 damage from itself if there is a Stadium card in play.

Pokemon Card Strategy:
So as far as strategy goes, this is a card I would be very weary about consistently putting in my grass type decks, unless you made sure there was a Stadium card, or 4, in that same deck. It is nice that you can draw 3 cards with Simisage so it could help out slower, more powerful Pokemon, but if there isn't a stadium card in play, this card is pretty worthless. I don't think I would have a Stage 1 card in my deck that can only consistently do 30 damage a turn when there are plenty of other cards out there that do more damage and are just as quick as Simisage. So I would include Simisage in a deck that strategized around the use of Stadium cards and include Pokemon that also benefit from Stadium cards being in play.

Pokemon Card Rating:
I would give this card a 4 out of 5 rating. Without having a Stadium card in play, this is a 1 out of 5 type card, but with that Stadium card in play this card is great, it can do 60 damage a turn and heal 30 from itself that same turn. So the faster you get this card into play, the more effective it will be, because if your opponent attacks with a Pokemon that does 30 damage or less, and you use Stadium Drain every turn, it will be like your opponent isn't attacking you at all.

Tomorrow's Pokemon Card:
So thanks for reading today's Pokemon card review of Simisage from the Next Destinies set, stay tuned for tomorrow's card review of Amoonguss from the same set.
