I say it’s number 27 in the beginning, but it’s really 28. And it’s about NaNoWriMo.

Help Wanted
Thanks to everyone who responded, I really appreciate it. I’ve got someone I’m working with now, so I won’t be looking any longer.
Thanks again!
I am a nightmare of organization.
I write nonfiction, fiction, and audio scripts.
I record podcasts, 8-9 shows a week.
I am a fiction editor sitting on a pile of to-be-read stories.
I’ve tried programs (GTD) and calendars and prioritizing and that tomato timer thing and I still can’t keep my shit together. Right now, my work is ramping up, which is great, but I can’t keep up with everything I have to do.
People say they don’t know how I do all I do, but the secret is fall behind on all projects as you work hard to bring one up to date, then tackle another one to save while the one you just saved falls behind.
I need help scheduling all my projects. I need an assistant. I’m definitely not making enough to have someone full-time, but I’m not asking for free either. If you’re an organizational ninja, and you have a few free hours a week and think that herding a scatterbrained author and podcaster would be … fun? Fulfilling? Whatever. Email me with credentials and we can talk possibilities.
I need to be comfortable with you, be able to trust you with possibly sensitive information on projects, and get in touch with you if I need you. (That doesn’t mean being on call, it means you don’t sit on your emails for weeks at a time like I sometimes do…) I’m fine working virtually if you can IM with me on occasion.
I’m not asking you to help with my work – ie, no audio editing, book editing, slush reading, etc. At first all I need is help organizing my projects. If things work out and the organization makes me actually more productive and make more money, we can make the position larger.

The world keeps punching me. And JK Rowling. (They don’t punch us both. Note the two different sentences there. I talk about the world punching me, and THEN I talk about Rowling. Keep up.)
Fabulist Ramblings – 019 and 020
I recorded yesterday, honest, just didn’t get a chance to get it uploaded. Sorry about that. So here are two episodes.
