To Students/Parents/Guardians Junior Certificate Results

Students:

On behalf of all the staff of the College congratulations to you and your family on receiving your Junior Certificate results today. Enjoy the satisfaction that all the work that you, your teachers and your parents put in over the last 3 years was worth the effort.
Your work so far will form the basis for your future studies, whether you are in 5th year or Transition year.

As you will know, the Leaving Certificate Programme is a full, busy, two year course and the time to begin working has already commenced. I urge all students to heed the advice given in class by teachers and at assembly to take your studies seriously.

I remind all students is a normal school day with full attendance expected.

Parents:
You may wish to celebrate these results with your son and rightly so. May I remind you that various Parents’ Associations and the Department of Education and Skills itself recommend that you do this as a family so as to avoid any threat to the safety of your son.

I hope you enjoy this special day in your sons education and I wish all involved in the school a happy year ahead.

And finally a reminder that tomorrow is a normal school day.
