A great day in Falmouth installing some eye catching banners at the Falmouth Hotel, surely no one will walk past these without noticing!!
And whilst I enjoy the sun Andy churns out 3100 stickers for Calor gas, great job but a bit dull.

A sunny day in Seaton Cornwall and Bay Side Bar & Grill gets a new sign. Opening for business on Friday 8th 2011, we wish them every success, and hope the sign does the business.

At least we can print images to inspire, despite the weather.

May and June have brought their usually round of outdoor events for us. And a range of jobs have challenged us, including the 12metre x 3metre Billboard for Bayer Crop Science, including exploding wheat seed!! On top of this we produced 200 double sided car parking signs, with only a 3 day turn around for the job.

Also we supplied 24 banner frames for both Horsch Uk and Horsch Germany. These provided a very effective and neat back drop to their exhibition stands

P2M was also commissioned in May to make and install a curved 8metre x 3metre banner and frame for Dow Agrosciences at the UK Grassland event.

We are now looking forward to the rest of the summer, and further event work…

A New Year starts with much hope…

Well the year has started well here, with increased orders on our regular exhibition work for both the France show in Earl’s Court and LAMMA an agricultural machinery show in Newark.

And the work continues to flow in; this month will see us produce 12 roll up banners for HSBC (some of which are off to the House of Lords), 50 banners for Dow Agro sciences, along with more roll ups for Masstock and Richardson Hotels. Lets hope the year continues on this vein.

Banners, sunshine, rain and a sore thumb

Here is another effort to use the blog. The burning question today is why does it rain so much, or more to the point when we are away at exhibitions the sun shines and when we are at home it rains…grrr..
Now as for the sore thumb this was during the construction of our new second floor storage area, all I can say is when hammering nails concentrate on the job!!

Banner printing as usual this week with jobs including BMF Motorcycle show banners, Filthy animal banners for a night club which when printed will have a reflective glow in the dark orange, My Cornwall.tv banners and posters for an event this weekend. Also business cards for Ask Book Keeping.

I’ve not got the hang of this

I think I am supposed to blog every week but it seems a challenge, just back from the CLA Game Fair at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire. A great week, the weather was kind and business was good for all those traders. P2M printed the graphics for a few stands Airgun World, Air Gunner and Sporting Shooter.
I managed to escape the show this year without spending too much money, just a log splitter….
Off to the Metropole in Padstow this afternoon to talk signs, it’s encouraging that the Hotel and Restaurant businesses in Cornwall have spent money this year on branding and advertising.
For us the event season will take a little break through August before starting again in earnest in September. And I may try to blog more often but no promises.

The trouble with summer is….

well the real trouble is that life gets busy and the blog and other things (garden, jobs round the house etc) get neglected.
How is it that events can be in the diary for over year but it is the rule that the printing will only happen when we are just a few days out from the event. Not sure why this is, but it was the same when I organised events.
But never mind we have printing stacks of banners this year, along with a variety of signage. The archway opposite was one creation for the Scottish Grassland event. We have also battled with mud and rain at the cereals event in Cambridgeshire, whilst erecting all the events signage again this year.

Last months South west tourism stand was a great success at the Best of Britain and Ireland Show. We really enjoyed the challenge of bringing the stand back drop together, and maintaining the presence/profile of each collaborating organisation.

Well it certainly felt a little like spring in Padstow yesterday, a beautiful day for fitting a new banner frame and banner to the front of the hotel. I can also vouch for the Cafe Bar being excellent.

Out of recession, I’m sure you can hear cheers up and down the country. Well in spite of our illustrious leaders we are having quite a good start to the year. Just after New Year we were at the France Show in Earl’s Court London. and straight after that we were off to The LAMMA show in Newark, this is no the UK’s biggest winter Agricultural Machinery Show.
