If you're seeking a new 2010 Prius at MSRP (or in *some* cases, a discount on certain models is possible but no discount on V package or sunroof cars) - please look this list over!

These are the cars I have available right now, thru July 4th weekend and into the 3rd week of July. Clarification: some are on ground, some are in transit from port, and some are coming at PORT quite soon! It's also subject to change with the next deposit or dealer trade; I will try to keep it updated daily.

This might save some of a ton of headaches and money.

Everybody simply list the name of the dealership you recommend avoiding and its location. If you want to indicate why, that is fine, but even a basic list would be helpful to many folks.

For this particular thread, please try to avoid listing the names of individual salespeople. I feel that is it okay to list and bash bad dealers, but I don't want to bash "people," especially since they and their families could individually be hurt.

There is one dealer nearby who has been great but is probably 2 months from being able to deliver a car. The others have been ridiculous, rude, condescending or unwilling to be truthful. One called and left a message said fine we will sell you the car you want at your price, this was on sunday. I called them monday first thing to schedule delivery, he said great, called back a little while later and said he couldnt find it. Calls about an hour later and says they sold it saturday!! What a crock.

Toyota really needs to address their dealer problems, I have been a loyal Honda customer for many years and never encountered anything like this. The Prius is now certainly a better car for my needs, but i dont want to be put through the wringer to buy one.

Every dealer I've spoken to has one, and now they're even willing to take off the doc fee to close the sale. I actually think there's even more negotiation room on these. In short, 2010s are relatively plentiful, even if they're selling well. Don't let a dealer try to sock you for a $400 "doc" fee (a markup and nothing else) - tell him you'll go elsewhere.
