This made Maricar Reyes controversial and popular, but what remained stunning and a question mark to all was her being silent from the limelight of controversy. She cannot be reached or to be exact can be heard from neither any comments nor a word for that matter. She was rumored that she went to the U.S and gone hiding.

Lat Sunday, the Philippine archipelago was surprised by her appearance in ASAP. She was ramping with all might and heads up during the show. Maricar Reyes stood strong and rising with bravery against the weight of judgement of slanderous tongues and fleshy minds. Maricar Reyes indemnified herself thru her being silent amidst the dark cloud of the malicious controversy. Her silence earned her the respect of women who shared the same fate that she experienced. Maricar Reyes doesn’t owe the people with anything. Its’ the people who maliciously uploaded, reproduced and sell dvd copies of the scandal robbed her human dignity. Maricar Reyes exemplified and is an epitome of nurturing strength in spirit in times of adversity.

Lyoto Machida: The UltimateChampion

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 133px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb15njl5GNYAt7Y2L49dll16PGhEvVrm6oXgC9GNmaL1o4mqzLAQRNADAhV42YscgIn7EORFPBvzvGF9GLMlU7AMgFs_q1tdqc5jUpPOz650V-3GGhSe6wa3cHXTrS1G_mEbqozCyynXE/s200/20090130084153_lyotomachida%5B1%5D.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341969069093372642" />
Lyoto Machida was proclaimed as the new light heavyweight champion of UFC 98. Well, let me share with you my experience in a cooperative office that would somehow tell us what good customer service really is.
Yesterday, my mom authorized me to withdraw on her behalf since she is sick and currently staying in a hotel to recover from her treatment. I brought with me my driver’s license and withdrawal slip signed by her, but I didn’t have her passbook because she couldn’t remember where she placed it. When I got there, I approached one of the personnel for me to know how to go about it. She just instructed me to pay for a passbook replacement. But when I spoke to the teller, she hesitated to transact the said withdrawal because of the misplaced passbook, despite of my proposal that I will pay for a replacement. So I tried to push my luck, went home, attempted to look for such passbook. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve an old one.

I hurried back to the cooperative office to make the withdrawal, and handed the teller all the requirements properly. She sarcastically told me that how come I have the passbook with me, while trying to finish processing the transaction. After doing so, she dropped off my I.D. on the counter in an impolite manner. I felt mistreated as a customer that’s why I told her that she must be professional enough in dealing with her clients and that she should observe proper customer service. Instead of being apologetic, she rudely answered back and some things that a customer service personnel shouldn’t say.

We are greatly aware that in business, anybody can be a potential customer. That’s why it is but important that we treat our customers the best way we can and provide them the best service. As they say, customer service is the life-blood of any business, because it’s either you gain or you lose your clients. It’s about bringing customers in and bringing customers back. I believe that we must be helpful and polite enough in dealing with them, and that we should learn to be good listeners. Most importantly, we have to deal with complaints, receive comments from our customers, and address their concerns in a win-win situation.

7 Reasons not to mess with children..

<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" It contained a love story that captured everybody's attention. Then, a colleague of ours had me read the story aloud. The story was entitled "LOVE, ME." Perhaps I could also share this story to those who might have a chance to read this.

"LOVE, ME"

I read a note my grandma wrote. Back in 1923. Grandpa kept it in his coat and he showed it once to me. He said "Boy, you might not understand, but a long, long time ago Grandma's daddy didn't like me none, but I loved your grandma. So, we had this crazy plan to meet and run away together. Get married in the first town we came to and live forever. But nailed to the tree where we were supposed to meet, instead, I found this letter, and this is what it said ."

"If you get there before I do, don't give up on me, I'll meet you when my chores are through. But I don't know how long I'll be, but I'm not gonna let you down darling, wait and see and between now and then, till I see you again I'll be loving you."

Love,

Me

I read those words just hours before my grandma passed away. In the doorway of the church, where me and grandpa stopped to pray. I know I'd never seen him cry with all my 15 years. But one thing for sure, it will be your body for your entire lifetime.
2.You will learn lessons.
The university of life is a vast area of oppurtunities where one can learn relevant lessons that is essential to one's growth. They are sometimes bitter and hard lessons.
3.There are no mistakes,only lessons.
There are no right or wrong choices. There is only a consequence of the choices we made.
4.A lesson is repeated until learned.
Have you heard the song " Di na natuto?" It holds true to everyone who commit the same mistake again and again.
5.Learning lessons does not end.
Always remember. "Rolling stone gathers no moss." Learning does not end with age
6."There" is no better than"here."
You may try to elaborate this on your own. God is the wind that redirects our journey.
9. Your answers lie inside you.
Everything we need for us to be successfull is already inside us. He close the door, waited a moment, and then, very quietly, stooped and peered through a keyhole. He found himself staring into an intent brown eye. The monkey was no less curious than he.

Moral lesson:
We must not enforce our will on other people. Man is created with distinct abilities and endowed with the gift of awareness. Being unique makes individuals differ in views, aspirations, response to a certain situation and methodology of solving problems. Like for the instance in a relationship, many falls into the pitfall of having their partner changed into their own liking. Enforcing change to somebody that is unique and inherent to that person constitutes coercion.

Uniqueness in ourselves is inherent and with divine providence. It is not to be change by anybody.

Never Quit

There are countless times that I quit on something. Quitting sometimes is a panic button that we deliberately push in times of desperate situation. But there's a distinguish person in the American history who never quit throughout his lifetime. His name is Abraham Lincoln. And I look up to his example of persistence and his will not to quit. Born into poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He failed in business venture and suffered a nervous breakdown. He lost eight elections but he never quit and eventually became one of the greatest presidents in the history of the United States of America.
Persistence is a virtue that we can develop in the midst of our adversity. If tempted to quit on anything, here are some of the list of Lincoln's road to success. While experiencing adversity, yet he never quit.

1816: His family was forced out of their home.

He had to work to support them.

1818: His mother died.

1831: Failed in business

1832: He ran for state legislature and he lost.

1834: Ran for state legislature again and this time he won.

1835: Was engaged to be married, sweetheart died and his heart was broken.

1836: Had a total nervous breakdown and was in bed for six months.

1838: Sought to become speaker of the state legislature but defeated.

1843: Ran for congress and lost

1846:Ran for congress again and this time he won.

1848: Ran for re-election to congress and lost.

1854: Ran for senate of the United States and lost.

1858: Ran for U.S. Senate again and he lost.

1860: Elected president of the United States.

source from chicken soup of the soul

If thinkinfg of quitting? It can be uttered in a manner that conveys rudeness, an act of verbal abuse, and taunting an offensive language against a culture, gender, race, lifestyle and ideology. The birth of politically correct (or PC) terminology in the late 1970s was used to promote the practice of speech that that is not disparaging or disadvantageous.

PC words were coined to foster increasing tolerance for the diversity of culture, political sensitivity (race, gender, ideology). However, some PC words are made to poke fun or to best describe a persona in a gentle manner. Like for example. ” He is short”. Instead of short, it is more politically correct to say “He is vertically challenged”.

The following are examples of politically correct words/terms.

Instead of ---------------------Politically correct

Bald----------------------comb free

Bisexual------------------sexually non-preferential

Black---------------------of African descent (or African-American)

Blind----------------------optically darker, photonically non-receptive

Broken home--------------dysfunctional family

Bum-----------------------homeless person,displaced homeowner

Convict--------------------socially separated

Deaf-----------------------visually oriented

Drug addict----------------chemically challenged

Fireman-------------------firefighter

Handicapped---------------physically challenged, dfferently abled

Housewife------------------domestic engineer

Insane people---------------selectively perceptive,mental explorers

Midget,dwarf---------------little people,vertically challenged

Fat person------------------horizontally challenged

Coincidence

A few months ago, my mother was advised by her physician to have her thyroid gland removed. Unfortunately, after going through some tests for almost two days, she was advised by her doctor that the equipment needed for skin grafting was not available in that hospital. By Wednesday after lunch, she was discharged. On the same day, late Wednesday afternoon, my mom was confined in the same hospital for her scheduled operation. To my surprise, she was assigned in the same semi-private room, and the same bed! The food that was served to her for dinner was e ven named still to my girlfriend’s mom. It was a really funny incident, a big coincidence. I would say that it was one of the things that I consider a very inspiring circumstance in our relationship.

All in a day's work

I've spent my day pondering what blog title I should have for blogger. A lightbulb flashed on my slow processing brain due to lack of sleep, secondary to callcenter graveyard shifts for almost two months now. I finally came up with Private Notes as my blog title. My next activity would be to customize my template, but I have to do that on my next day off sked because customization and configuring a header eats a lot of time. For now, I'm thankful that I finally launched my other blog here in blogger.
