Everything you need bundled into one simple, tidy, portable package. Just grab ‘em and go, right? Well, you may think your powered speaker system is complete, but you’re missing half the picture. DriveRack PX is the other half. In another dbx industry first, we’ve created a processor specifically tailored for powered speakers. Utilizing our highly-acclaimed DriveRack technology, the PX picks up where your powered speakers leave off.

Our patented Advanced Feedback Suppression (AFS™) kills nasty feedback, allowing problem-free operation at higher sound levels, while our patented Subharmonic Synthesizer™ extends bass response for enhanced bottom end. With all that, you also get classic dbx compression and the protection offered by our graceful PeakPlus™ limiting. Your ears, your audience, and your powered speakers will forever thank you.

Louder, cleaner, better sound than you thought possible from your powered speakers.

Design Focus
All CC Series amplifiers are built with tunnel-cooled heat sinks, variable-speed DC fans and extensive protection circuitry for superior efficiency into difficult loads and power conditions. In the Crest Audio tradition, these robust amps also boast more power devices (16 per channel) than any competitive amplifier, plus a switched-rail class H output stage and triple-compound design to provide low distortion and excellent thermal stability. Based on powerful Pro 200. Series technology and utilizing a linear power supply, our three versatile CC Series amps deliver stable high power output for running main systems, monitors and subwoofers.
Just raise the levels on your mics to the onset of feedback. The filters automatically "learn" the problem spots in your system and knock them down with great precision leaving everything else untouched for maximum fidelity. Then during the performance additional filters are constantly standing by to instantly kill any extra, unexpected feedback.

Sixteen individual filters can operate simultaneously (eight dynamically react to input changes)

Stereo or "dual mono" operation which enables 32 dynamically-controlled filters

Set-and-Forget operation in fixed installations such as churches and auditoriums

Four presets for your most common performance venues

Rear panel Defeat button locks out inquiring fingers

Extra Max "Panic" filters for quick control of sudden, severe feedback

Balanced XLR and TRS inputs and outputs

Dynamically suppresses feedback using sophisticated "search & destroy" filters that find, lock in and kill offending frequencies

A Woofer Servo circuit monitors back-EMF and controls cone motion, ensuring the cone’s movement mirrors the driving signal from the power amp, and resulting in very low distortion, high power handling and rock-solid low-frequency attack. The advanced new ribbon driver–an exclusive Peavey design based on the ribbons used in the Peavey Versarray™ line array provides 90° H x 30° V coverage, with sonically transparent reproduction.
Utilizing Peavey’s revolutionary IPR™ power amplifier technology, the Impulse 12D produces 1,200 watts of efficient power while weighing a very lightweight 39 lbs. IPR amplifiers are designed with a lightweight switch-mode power supply and a high-speed class D topology that yields the highest audio resolution and efficiency available.
The Input section features two input channels and a line output, with a mix of I/O options such as combination XLR-1/4″ jacks, RCA and install-ready Phoenix connections. Input channels 1 and 2 also have mic/line source switches and gain controls. The Auto-Off function automatically shuts off the power when it no longer detects a signal, while the Line Out allows the user to chain multiple units or send the input signal to another source.
The DynaQ™ section offers advanced tone controls such as Bass Enhancer, which is an overall loudness boost; a Music/Speech switch that provides optimized EQ settings for each audio type; and Contour, specially configured for program music. A module bay allows for future expansion including Wireless I/O, Delay/Time Adjustment, Mixer Expander, Ethernet I/O and more.
The Impulse 12D is housed in a durable, injection-molded enclosure that includes a pole mount, three flying points and a tilt-back design to facilitate use as a personal monitor.
The 1231 provides standard features like dual-channels, 31 1/3 octave bands, ISO frequency centers, +/- 12 dB input gain range, and switchable 40Hz/18 dB per octave low-cut filters, but also includes other insightful features. These include 45 mm faders; selectable +/-6dB or +/-15dB boost/cut range for precise gain adjustments; XLR, barrier strip, and 1/4” TRS connectors for installation ease; balanced inputs and outputs for quiet operation; and chassis/signal ground lift capabilities for quick hum isolation. The visionary design of the dbx 12 Series makes your job easier.

The dbx 12 Series Equalizers were precision engineered to provide years of maintenance-free operation in any application. The magnetically isolated transformer, electronically balanced/unbalanced inputs and servo balanced/unbalanced outputs, RF-filtered inputs and outputs, and power-off hard-wire relay bypass with 2 second power up delay were steps our engineers took to ensure compatibility for all installations. Only the best components were utilized, yielding a 10Hz to 50kHz frequency response, greater than 90dB SNR (ref +4dBu), less than 0.005% THD +Noise (1kHz at +4dBu), and interchannel crosstalk of less than -80dB from 20Hz to 20kHz. All this attention to detail is contained in a 3U steel/aluminum chassis.
