Most bloggers find it hard to choose a good blog niche when starting a new blog and that is why I have decided to write this post on how to choose a blog Niche.

To choose a blog Niche, the following should be considered:

The level Of Interest OF the Blogger

When choosing a blog niche, choose a niche in which you are very interested in and a niche in which you can write on. Most bloggers start a blog because they heard a particular niche is lucrative without considering the fact they don’t know much about the topic and within a short period of time, they get bored and ignore the blog. So choose a niche you know you can write on even if you are sleeping.

The level OF demand

While determining the niche to choose, choose a niche in which people are interested in. This will go a long way in ensuring that you have huge readership thereby improving your traffic.

Choose a Profitive Niche

Make sure you choose a niche in which there are lots of people who are ready to pay you. In as much as the main reason why you blog id to make money, then choose a niche in which you can easily get paid. I have a list of the most profitive niche here

You’ve probably build a blog because you wanna make money blogging, this post will take you through all the means by which you can make money blogging

The motive of most bloggers for creating a blog is to monetize it, you have invested your time and perhaps a little amount of money into your blog and you want your investment to yield profits. Most bloggers make money from blogging through;

1. Affiliate Programs: Affiliate marketing involves promoting other people’s product on your blog and you are paid a commission for each sale you make. There are lots affiliate sites out there, but I will recommend clickbank, sign up for an affiliate account and promote a product related to your Niche

2. Google Adsense: This is an ad network owned by Google and it pays website owner for placing ads on there website. As an ads publisher, you will get paid based on the number of clicks you get from your blogs or website as the case maybe. A lot of people are making huge amount of money with Google Adsense but without huge traffic you can’t make much from Google.

3. Ebook Sale: once you become an expert on a niche, then you can proceed to write an ebook on your Blog niche and get it sold via your Blog. I have come across lots of bloggers who compile all there blog post, rearrange and edit them and sold them to there blog readers. Selling ebooks on your blog is very lucrative and I think is something every blogger should tap from.

4. Membership Sites: Apart from selling ebooks on your blog, you can also organize a membership class whereby you provide your members with more detailed knowledge about your niche and they subscribe for it be it monthly or quarterly.

5. Sponsorship: When you blog becomes popular or perhaps when you are getting huge traffic, a lot of people will approach you telling you to place there ads on your blog and you charge them for it.

Writing great blog content is the only key to get quality traffic to your blog, without a good blog content, you won’t have anyone reading your post.

There are lots of ways to write great blog content that will be appealing to both the search engine robots and your readers, but in this post I will tell you three basic things to consider while building your blog content.

What is You Blogging ON?

While building your blog, I believe you must have chosen a niche you believe you can cope with and perhaps make money from. Your blog content will depend on the niche you’ve chosen. It is not expected of a person who is in the “Make Money Online Niche” to post content on “Weight Loss Niche”. Most bloggers fail because they have chosen a wrong niche.

Preparing Your Contents

Chose a topic related to your niche or something you felt you wanna post on your blog and make a search query for it on Google. Click on the first five results and open a new tab for each (lets call those five sites your competitor), look through there blogs and see what they are posting related to the search query you’ve made. You are not to copy there post and post it on your blog, but reading through there blogs will give you more insight and perhaps enlighten you more on the topic you want to post on.

Pick up your pen and a sheet of paper or open your notepad and jot down the cogent points in there posts.

Writing Your Own Contents

Remember I said your blog content most be appealing to both your readers and the search engine robots, your blog contents should consist of two major thing- Your Blog Title and your Blog Post

Blog Title

Your Blog title must:

1. Contain the main keyword you want to rank for

2. Most is attractive and catchy that mere seeing your title, people will want to click on it to see its content

Blog Post

Your blog post must be

1. Seo optimized for the search engines so as to get more traffic

How to Create a Self Hosted Wordpress Blog

Blogger Vs Wordpress: Which should you go for

Did you wanna start a blog and you don’t know which platform for your Blog, below are tips to consider when choosing a platform for your Blog.

Bloggers and wordpress are the two platforms with which you can host your blog, one is free while the later is not. So if you think you have money that you wanna invest into blogging, then wordpress is the best option for you, but if not stick to Blogger

Another thing about blogger and hosted wordpress is that blogger is owned by Google and they can’t delete your blog anytime in as much as you’ve gone against there policy. You can’t post anything you like if you are using blogger.com, they give you instructions on what you should post and what you should not, once you go against this, your blog is gone, but if you are hosting your wordpress blog you can post anything you like.

Wordpress also as a lots of plug-in which makes blogging easier but blogger on the other hand does not have any plug-in, you have to edit your Html each time you want to add a feature to your blog.

My Advise To Blogger
