Being a video gamer I am always looking for ways to make things a bit more comfortable. Recently I was given the opportunity to test out the XTendPlay Ergonomic Adapter. If you are a gamer then you know that a controller needs to work with you without major adjustments. When I play FPS games I need my fingers to be in full synchronicity. When I play casual board games, or slow paced games I can afford to be more flexible. The XTendPlay Adapter worked for the casual games for me. I tried playing Battlefield 3 for a few rounds with the adapter, and it seemed uncomfortable because of the squareness.

While I am not saying that this product is not well made I am stating that the product is best suited for those that play in a loose style, and are willing to make change. The product is well made. I will still use this for my family, and casual games. Maybe in time I will grow to like it more for my FPS games. The adapter fits all Playstation 3 controllers, and there is also an XBox version. The adapter is made of a soft-touch, ultra-lightweight fleXlite™ foam.

Check out Gamingzap.com for their products.

I was always a big fan of Winnie the Pooh. My wife and daughter also love the entire Pooh family. When they announced a new movie was coming I was a little skeptical, but also quite happy.

Seeing the story unfold on the screen in fashionable Winnie the Pooh manner was a pleasing sight. A lot of the animations looked just as good, if not better than the original animations from the earlier films. This was a brilliantly funny movie. I was a bit surprised to see that the movie was only 60 minutes in length.

I think that this movie goes to prove the ever growing problem of “Jumping to conclusions.” The storyline was straightforward without any deviations. The movie kept our attention, and also the children that watched with us. No boring parts.

The Ballad of Nessie was a very cute mini movie.

I recommend getting this video for your whole family to enjoy. Winnie the Pooh movies will always be loved by all.

Here is the official release…

<span style=text-decoration: underline;>Film Synopsis

Disney returns to the Hundred Acre Wood with “Winnie the Pooh.” Featuring the timeless charm, wit and whimsy of the original featurettes, this all-new movie reunites audiences with the philosophical “bear of very little brain” and friends Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo – and last, but certainly not least, Eeyore, who has lost his tail. “Ever have one of those days where you just can’t win, Eeyore?” asks Pooh. Owl sends the whole gang on a wild quest to save Christopher Robin from an imaginary culprit. It turns out to be a very busy day for a bear who simply set out to find some honey. Disney’s all-new “Winnie the Pooh” movie is inspired by three stories from A.A. Milne’s books in Disney’s classic, hand-drawn art.

<span style=text-decoration: underline;>About The Filmmakers:

Directed by Stephen Anderson (Meet The Robinsons, The Emperor’s New Groove) and Don Hall
(The Princess and the Frog, Meet The Robinsons), the film was supported by a variety of industry and highly-creative Disney veterans including Producers Peter Del Vecho (The Princess and the Frog, Chicken Little) and Clark Spencer (Bolt, Meet The Robinsons), Executive Producer and two-time Academy Award®-winning director John Lasseter (Toy Story franchise, WALL●E, Bolt) and senior story artist Burny Mattinson (Academy Award®-nominee for Best Animated Short Film, Mickey’s Christmas Carol, 1983 and key animator on the 1974 Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too!).

<span style=text-decoration: underline;>About The English Language Voice Talent:

The “Winnie The Pooh” movie is narrated by funnyman John Cleese (Shrek Forever After, A Fish Called Wanda) and voiced by the talents of Jim Cummings (Gnomeo & Juliet, The Princess and the Frog, Shrek) as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Craig Ferguson (TV’s ‘The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson’) as Owl, Tom Kenny (TV’s ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’) as Rabbit, Travis Oates (TV’s ‘My Friends Tigger & Pooh,’ ‘Tigger & Pooh and a Musical Too’) as Piglet, Bud Luckey (Toy Story 3) as Eeyore,
Kristen Anderson-Lopez (TV’s ‘The Wonder Pets,’ Off-Broadway’s ‘In Transit’) as Kanga, Wyatt Hall (seven-year-old son of director Don Hall) as Roo and Huell Howser (this was his first role as an actor) as Backson and Jack Boulter (this was his first role as an actor) as Christopher Robin.

<span style=text-decoration: underline;>About The Music:

The amazing musical scores featured throughout the film were created by Tony® Award-winning songwriter Bobby Lopez, and his wife Kristen, who wrote all of the six spirited new songs for Pooh and his pals, including “The Tummy Song,” “A Very Important Thing To Do,” “Everything Is Honey,” “The Winner Song,” “The Backson Song,” and “It’s Gonna Be Great.” Lopez is behind the Broadway hits “Book of Mormon” and “Avenue Q” and together they’ve written for Nickelodeon and Disney, including the stage version of “Finding Nemo” and composed songs for several episodes of “The Wonder of Pets,” which earned him two Daytime Emmy® Awards in 2006 for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition.

The original score, a special rendition of the beloved “Winnie the Pooh” theme song for the film was composed by Henry Jackman (“The Da Vinci Code,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End,” “Monsters vs. Aliens”) and sung by actress, musician, singer and songwriter, Zooey Deschanel (Indie folk band, “She & Him”). Deschanel also provided vocals for
“A Very Important Thing To Do” and “So Long.”

I have been a long time customer of Nextel / Sprint. During the past few years I have gone through more phones than one would like to. This wasn’t because I wanted the best, but it was more of a phone performance issue that I ran into.

a href=http://www.myblogs4u.com/?attachment_id=4458 rel=attachment wp-att-4458img class=alignnone size-full wp-image-4458 title=epic4g src=http://www.myblogs4u.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/epic4g1.jpg alt= width=366 height=274 //a

The most recent phone that I had prior to the Evo 3D was the Samsung Epic 4G. This was actually a nice phone for the most part. If it wasn’t for the many problems that I had with the phone itself then I would still have the Epic.

The Epic 4G had the following problems:
p style=text-align: center;The phone would continuously overheat./p
p style=text-align: center;Battery life was next to useless at @4-5 hours maximum./p
p style=text-align: center;Signal was horrible. My wife has a relic phone that was performing better./p
The phone didn’t like certain apps from the Market. When you make a phone you should have the phone be able to determine what software will, and won’t work. If it won’t work, then the software should not show up in the Market.

In brief the Epic 4G has a great sized screen, and works perfect… Until you start loading things from the Market. The slide out QWERTY keyboard was a big bonus for me, but a stylus, and a touchscreen phone works the same. Actually it can be faster.

a href=http://www.myblogs4u.com/?attachment_id=4459 rel=attachment wp-att-4459img class=alignnone size-full wp-image-4459 title=evo3d src=http://www.myblogs4u.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/evo3d1.jpg alt= width=270 height=242 //a

I spoke to Sprint about the continuous problems that I was having, and also noted the fact that the Brick, NJ service location was totally useless. They would constantly tell me that they couldn’t see a problem and that I needed to be able to replicate the issue for them to be able to do anything. I spent some money and got the Evo 3D.

The Evo 3D has been a great phone at this point. Some things that make this the best phone to date are:
p style=text-align: center;Netflix Capability/p
p style=text-align: center;Processor Speed/p
p style=text-align: center;Android 2.3.4 (Aka Gingerbread)/p
I recently ordered a stylus for use with the Evo 3D. They actually do work. Make sure that you order a stylus from a person that has tested it to work with the Evo 3D. The 3D feature of the phone isn’t that big of a deal at this point for me. You can’t look at the photos, or videos anywhere other than the phone. I also have yet to find a good piece of software that will allow conversion of standard movies to 3D. I know that there are things out there that others say work, but I have tried numerous things and haven’t gotten them to work for me. If you don’t want to pay for Wireless Hotspot on the phone, then I suggest getting EasyTether from the Market. EasyTether makes the phone into a modem basically. I have it, and I find it to be very useful at times.

More to come in the following weeks. Keep checking back.

Have you ever needed an intimate item and had to search through many sites to find it? I can personally recommend a site to you that will become your one stop shop for all your adult needs.

Being that sex is in almost everyone’s life having a reliable source for your needs is always a good thing. The prices, and the shipping charges are very reasonable. There is a vast amount of information to help you through your research.

When you men, or women are looking for novelty items, lingerie, and more then there is only one place to stop. If you don’t need anything for yourself, then maybe you need a gag gift. Nothing says party like a good gag gift.

Check out the EdenFantasys.com website. If you are a bargain shopper, then check out the “Promotions” button on the top of the page that will show you a listing of the most current promotions that are being run.

You can also venture over to the EdenFantasys Twitter page for information, and more.

Recently we were given the opportunity to check out the Bluray/DVD combo package of Mars Needs Moms. We watched the movie as a family, and we absolutely loved it. This movie can help teach a valuable lesson about love. There is adventure, and also humor incorporated in the movie.

You can read some more specifics about the movie by checking out our original posting about the movie… http://www.disneycontestblog.com/index.php/mars-needs-moms-giveaway/

Short Synopsis… (I don’t want to ruin the story so this is very brief…)

A boy named Milo is continually doing things to test his mom. One night she is captured by aliens, and brought back to Mars. Milo found a way to hitch onto the ship that captured his mom. Once on Mars he did everything possible to save her from what was going to happen.

The way that animated movies have evolved is truly amazing.

I give this movie a 10 out of 10 stars.

The DVD package featured in this review was provided free of cost to me for the purpose of review. My review is not being monetarily compensated and is based solely on the views and opinions of me, and my family.
Recently I was given the opportunity to try out Brew Over Ice K-Cups for the Keurig coffee system. We drink a lot of coffee, but during the summer it is nice to have something refreshing, and yet still to my likes. I preferred the French Vanilla, and wife liked the Sweet Raspberry Black Tea. I am trying to find the Sweet Lemon Black Tea locally so I can try it.

Making the Brew Over Ice Iced Teas was easier than my usual way of making iced tea in a pitcher and leaving it in the fridge for a while.

The best compliment to the Brew Over Ice varieties was the tumbler. The tumbler actually seemed to stay colder than any of the cups I would have normally used.

Making a cup of one of these is just as easy as making a standard cup of coffee, or tea.

· Fill a 16-oz. plastic cup with ice and place it under a Keurig Brewer

· Choose the 6-oz.or 8-oz. button

· Brew directly over ice

· The ice does the rest — stir and enjoy!

Brew Over Ice K-Cup Varieties

Green Mountain Coffee® Iced Coffees:

Nantucket Blend® Iced Coffee

French Vanilla Iced Coffee

Celestial Seasonings® Perfect Iced Teas:

Half and Half (Black Tea and Lemonade)

Southern Sweet Tea

Sweet Berry Lime Green Tea

Sweet Lemon Black Tea

Sweet Peach Black Tea

Sweet Raspberry Black Tea

Sweet Tropical Breeze White Tea

Unsweetened Black Tea

Knowing that the French Vanilla Iced Coffee was only 2 calories made me even happier. I can at least keep an eye on what I am drinking, and this will help keep my wife in line with worrying about my weight.

For more information, or to purchase Brew Over Ice Coffee/Tea visit: GreenMountainCoffee.com, or Keurig.com.

If you are a coffee/tea person, and enjoy the outside as much as we do then I would recommend you try out the Brew Over Ice items. These are excellent, and easy to make.

Upon opening the box that I received I found the Echo, extra battery, external charging unit, instructions, memory card, cables. The Echo comes stock with Android 2.2.1. There are no rumors if Gingerbread will be available in the future. Gingerbread could probably help the eminent battery life issue, but that is something that I’m sure Kyocera is looking at.

The dual touchscreen flip is a little challenging to get used to. The screens are made of Corning Gorilla Glass. I am sure that there is still a break issue if the phone is dropped, but I am not sure. Even though the Echo doesn’t have a dual core processor the phone is very snappy.

Kyocera was smart with this unit. Thinking ahead for possible battery use issues they included an external charging unit, and battery. The charging unit can be used for charging the extra battery, or can actually be switched to charge the phone. This was very convenient to have.

With all of the features that this phone does have I am amazed that they cut out some of the more important features that are in a good portion of phones that are coming out. The features I refer to include: 4G connectivity, Front facing camera.

I find that the speaker on the Echo is slightly weaker than expected. The dual screen capability is nice, but more apps should have been designed to use the dual screen capability to its fullest. The phone is a bit more square than I originally expected. It is slightly smaller than the Epic that I own.

Check back next week for Part 2 of my review of the Kyocera Echo.

As bloggers we work with many companies that allow us to review things. We also have a few people that work with us in reviewing things.

Do you have a child that wants to be able to see things that are out of vision while they are walking with you? Have you ever been on vacation and wondered what other options you have for your child rather? Well we were given the opportunity to review the PiggyBack Rider system.

What is the PiggyBack Rider? The PiggyBack Rider is like a backpack, but it is for an adult to wear on the back, and children stand up in it. If your child can successfully navigate a staircase then they are ready for this.

We tried out the PiggyBack Rider with our neighbors child. A friend of ours tried it out while in Disney World. It is now being tried out by my sister-in-law. Her review will be posted as soon as she is finished doing a thorough test drive.

Our neighbors son loves to be in the mix with everything. He loved being able to see what we could see. He didn’t like the harness much, but he learned to deal with it. We found the PiggyBack Rider to be convenient, and it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. The only noticeable thing about the system is that if the child shifts, moves, or falls off the adult will immediately notice. Hubby and I both wish that this was around when our daughter was the right size for this. I never got to try it out because he was having fun.

Here is the recommendation… According to hubby, and our friends this is an excellent idea. It is a must have for children.

Some important notes…

The PiggyBack Rider has a weight limit of 60 lbs.

This can be used without any assistance.

The PiggyBack Rider has additional options available like a carrying bag that seconds as a pouch, a sac, and also as a mudflap. Check out some of the videos HERE.

Photos will follow, but for now I have included a photo that the company has available.

The PiggyBack Rider has a MSRP of $79.99 + flat rate shipping. You can purchase a PiggyBack Rider by going to the PiggyBack Rider store, or by checking through a list of retailers that carry it.

We previously posted about our experience on the first leg of our Back to Back cruise on the Disney Dream. Now we will talk about the second part.

We would like to thank all of the people of the group that we met from the Disboards. The Fish Extender was fun, and the Yankee Swap was great. Meeting, and talking to other cruisers put a lot of my questions, and thoughts at ease.

On Thursday we woke at 7am to go to breakfast, and meet the group of cruisers that we met on the Disboards. We went up to Cabanas. After breakfast we got a group photo, and said goodbye. We disembarked the ship, and were instructed where to go to get back on. After going through paperwork we were given our boarding number, and told to wait. After about an hour we reboarded at @10:30am. When reboarding the photo group on the gangway wasn’t ready for photos so we couldn’t get our photos. We had another person take our photo so we did get a photo.

After that we went back onto the ship, and went up to deck 11 for coffee. During this time it is advised to you that you will be onboard while maintenance is being performed. We pretty much just hung out on deck 11 until we noticed people coming onboard. For the most part rooms aren’t available until 1:30pm, but being a Back to Back cruiser with the same room we were able to go back to our room earlier. We then went to the Sail Away party.

What we noticed is that during a 3 day cruise majority of the people onboard have a tighter timeframe to accomplish everything they want to do so lines are a bit longer for some things. This stands true for the pools no matter what any person in the media has published in the past. For those that don’t understand why I say this… Read this excerpt that was posted by a well known site…

POOLS

No matter who I spoke with, the Cast Member emphasised how the Disney Dream is 40% larger than the Magic and Wonder and so everything was enlarged by about 40%. The same is true for the pools.

Disney Magic Pool

Disney Dream Pool

Notice the pool is square, and the actual swimming section is round. Can you all admit that this was definitely an unwise choice?

We went to play some miniature golf, and the lines do have their bad times at certain times. Next we enquired into the simulators. We were advised of the prices by the person in charge of them, and we decided against them. This was something I felt Disney should have included. The decking material on deck 12 gets extremely hot in comparison to the other boats so walking around in the hot sun waiting for Aquaduck, or just walking around will make your feet quite uncomfortable.

During our first leg of the cruise we got off in the Bahamas and personally went to Ardastra Gardens. We paid @45 for the 3 of us including the Jitney bus. Disney wanted @$125+ for the Ardastra Gardens excursion. Yes theirs includes a driving tour around the island that lasts @1/2 hour. This was not necessary for us. When we docked at Nassau, Bahamas the second time we got off briefly, but returned because we don’t stay there for long. We just don’t enjoy Nassau that much. Upon coming back onboard we noticed that the pools were already well filled, and the Aquaduck was also pretty full. With the Aquaduck we noticed that it is closed on, and off throughout the day due to technical problems.

While at Castaway Cay my daughter, and I took part in the Stingray excursion. This was a very memorable experience for us. What I didn’t know was that I got severly burned during this. This was due to the level of sun at the time of the excursion. We were on the last excursion of the day. For the price this excursion was valued well. It was worth the sun poisoning for me to have that experience with my daughter. Back onboard that night I got very sick due to the sun poisoning. Valuable lesson… When your significant other purchases sunscreen make sure she buys good stuff, and not $1 store stuff. Also make sure it isn’t from like 2-3 years ago because she put it away and forgot about it.

On the last night we scrambled to get dinner, Believe, and packing done before the 10:30pm time. What we should have done was we should have done the Believe show on the 4 night so that we weren’t jammed up so bad.

In conclusion… I think Disney should have taken a bit more time to evaluate some of the things that they did with this ship. Some people have messaged me telling me that “It’s a new ship. It needs time to work out bugs.” For the price that is charged I expect perfection. Disney should account for issues and price should be taken into consideration for possible problems. If you don’t believe this is the case, then please mail me a check for my cruise, and I will shut up. After all… I can’t justify throwing money away. Many of the people we cruised with, and even other seasoned Disney Cruising people that we didn’t cruise with that we spoke to felt that there was a major difference between the Dream, and the others. The staff we personally had was spectacular. A few of the employees that we met had nothing but complaints about their jobs. One of the people in our group had this to say…

We had a Russian (sp)? room hostess and all she did was complain about, “too much work to do”

I have spoken with DCL guest communications, and they communicated that they appreciated the feedback, and it was necessary because it helps them improve things.

BTW… Cudos to Sigit (Stateroom), Nathanapon (Dining Server), and Raluca (Asst. Dining Server)

People like this helped make some essence of the cruise perfect.

I used to love watching the original Tron movie, and even more enjoyed playing the video game. We were given the opportunity to review the combo package that is available. The combo pack comes with Blu-ray,Blu-Ray 3D, DVD, and Digital Copy. The most impressive part of this package is the 3D version. Not many videos come with a 3D copy included. This is a bold move, and one that will work.

If you haven’t watched the original Tron, then I would definitelly suggest you get this package so that you can watch them back to back. There were a lot of things that I understood better after watching the original version, then watching the Blu-Ray verson.

This movie made a lot of sense because the movie actually continues in the storyline. There are no major missing pieces as you find in a lot of “Series” movies. Jeff Bridges did an excellent job in his part in the movies.

I definitely recommend this movie to any Sci-Fi fan, and even more than that any “Series” fan. I know I will watch this movie many more times, and one of my friends also will watch this movie many more times.
