Is your industry growing or declining? You needed to know if there is a demand and if so how sizeable is the demand you need to meet for your potential customers? 2.	It’s too risky. Moreover, how can you be sure that the data the person you hired to provide is thorough and complete? Even if the information provided is accurate, what happens if you need to change your strategy as a result of your findings? Then again, how can you prevent that person from taking your ideas and running with them? They require pricey down payments, complicated answers, and lots of personal information.
