Measuring performance:

My choice of digital marketing channels in social media,viral marketing will contribute by providing the exposure needed to drive more traffic to my website. A successful social media marketing campaign will most likely ignite a rolling word-of-mouth effect where my own customers will be promoting my brand to their friends, increasing quality traffic to my website. PPC and SEO will contribute with keyword phrases relevant to my target market. Email data bases will allow me to send out a monthly newsletter that will direct traffic to my website and blog as well as my social networks.

I will use Google Analytics to track each channel and make sure it is performing as expected.

I would create a point system and assign different points to different channels to measure the value of a conversation. My cost of conversation in each channel will determined by the average event needing about 4 stagehands @ 15.00 dollars and hour for an eight hour day.
I think at this point I would not change anything about my campaign but as the company grows I would like to have a larger budget and include more channels that would include print marketing.

Channel Selection and Campaign Budget

Campaign budget for ProEvent Labor Services will remain small as it is a small company. I will utilize any and all free digital marketing channels but will use most of my budget on a paid search/pay-per-click advertising. With that said, the first digital marketing channel I will use is social media and viral marketing; Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn, Twitter....etc. This channel allows me to market my business to the masses free of charge and to a targeted group of consumers and businesses. I will also utilize Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to improve the visibility of my webpage by editing the content and HTML for keywords relevant to my business. I will also build an email data base of local venues and customers and distribute a monthly newsletter featuring my services and specials along with links to my social networks, blogs and website. ProEvent's website currently partners with other affiliates and drive traffic from one to another. I am giving my company a year timeframe for these current objectives and goals. With ProEvent being in its infancy I must keep the budget small and controlled but as the company grows I will allocate a larger budget that will include promotion and PR as well as display advertising.

Increase website, blog, twitter and other social network traffic.

KPI:
Increase website and blog traffic.
Increase followers and friends on Facebook and Twitter.

Target:

ProEvent Labor Services Introduction

Business Model:

ProEvent Labor Services is an event labor company that was started in 2008 by me out of a need for experienced and technically trained stagehands, audio technicians and lighting technicians. At the time of the company’s inception I was working as an audio engineer and lighting technician as well as assisting the company president at Production Source Inc. out of the Tampa Bay area. During my time at Production Source I was responsible for all the day-to-day business, operations, preparation of all upcoming events on the company calendar as well as negotiations for future events. As part of my preparation of the upcoming events, I was in charge of all the labor calls. Each event needed experienced stagehands as well as specializing technicians. My job was to fill each labor call as needed from a pool of technicians that I compiled through my years in event production and also recruited new graduates from the college that I graduated from. As the economy took its turn for the worst the event production saw a decline as well, at that point the president of Production Source approached me with a proposition to combine my talent for putting together highly skilled labor calls with his event production company. The idea was to join forces not only to feed of each other’s business but to also offset the cost of running the businesses as well as the cost of labor and production. ProEvent Labor Services vision is to provide these sought after, highly qualified and cross-trained labor calls to local production companies, tours and venues. Our service aims to ensure that each production is treated with the upmost care and concern for detail and time constraints. The estimated annual revenue for ProEvent Labor Services in 2008 was $78,000 with an operating cost of $40,000.

Competition:

ProEvent Labor Services is entering a market that is open for growth. In thecurrent market trends

and the with the state of our country’s weak economy production companies are opting to hire

outside labor sources only when needed for each production in lieu of full or part time payroll

employees making way for a company such as ProEvent. The current direct

competition are companies such as Black Onyx located in Lakeland, Fl and have entertainment

labor forces but are combined with production and event planning services as well. We will

remain focused on specialized labor for entertainment

production. The cost of my company's service is equal to my competitors and in certain

instances can be offered for less depending on the customer and or venue.

Customer:

My competition here in Tampa Bay, Black Onyx, does not have a website and

primarily operates off of word of mouth. The audience for a company such as

ProEvent would be:

Concert Venues (both indoor and outdoor)

Corporate

Hotels

Private Parties and Venues

I would promote my company's services to both businesses and consumers in the

local area and eventually plan to expand my operation throughout the state of

Florida.
