Despite being a shoe fanatic I must admit I usually am not fond of seeing a lot of bling on shoes because it tends to cheapen the shoe for me. However, I like seeing exceptions to my “style rules” and these blinged-out platform heels by Le Silla certainly manage to be exactly that: exceptional! Exceptionally gorgeous… and expensive. 3k for a pair of shoes? Even hard-boiled Louboutin lovers will frown upon that price.

I’ve always been a huge fan of model Hilary Rhoda ever since I first saw her in an Estee Lauder magazine ad. She is such a beautiful woman! She looks so healthy & radiant and when dressing for red carpet events I like that she always has a soft, feminine side about her that I miss on so many other models these days. OMFG! Words cannot express how much I’m obsessed with these crazy high leopard wedges by Giuseppe Zanotti. I’ve always loved Giuseppe’s designs, but this one takes the cake I think. If it weren’t for the scarily high price tag of $1.195 (gasp!) these would be mine, mine, mine already.

Tyra Banks vs. Kim Kardashian – Who Wore Rachel Roy Better?

Tyra Banks attended the 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards back in August 2009 where she wore a beautiful, sleek coral one shoulder dress ($1.495) from Rachel Roy’s Resort 2010 collection. The TV host & ex-now-back-again supermodel finished her look with pointy suede pumps and a matching nude clutch.

Kim Kardashian sported the same Rachel Roy dress at the 2010 Cosmetic Executive Women Beauty Awards a few days ago. Much like Tyra, Kim accentuated her coral frock with nude accessories such as her Christian Louboutin Alti platform pumps and a multi-colored Louboutin Talita clutch.

As much as I like Kim’s new sophisticated style, I prefer this Grecian-inspired dress on Tyra’s statuesque frame. I think the dress might have worked better on Kim if she’d shortened it to end just below her knees. What do you think?
