Sonho impossível (Impossible Dream)

Together with my wife, family, friends and many other supporters and mentors, I persued my Sonho impossível (Impossible Dream).

I almost gave up many times, but, it finally became reality.

As most of you know, I became a Doctor (PhD) on 08 Feb / 2023, and some days ago, on January, 26, 2024, I had my Official Ceremony (Investidura de nuevos doctores / Acto Académico de Santo Tomás de Aquino)

I finished my PhD

This month (February 2023) is very special for me and my family, as some people already know I achieved one of the biggest dreams of my life, I finished my PhD.

I am now officially Doctor Caio Moreno.

I defended my PhD Thesis on 08/02/2023 in Madrid, Spain.

Thank you very much to Prof. Dr. Ramón Alberto Carrasco, Prof. Dr. Cristóbal Pareja Flores, Prof. Dr. Loren Escot, Prof. Dr. Alicia Pérez Alonso, Prof. Dr. Gema Fernández-Avilés , Prof. Dr. Diogo Ferreira and Prof. Dr. Francisco Chiclana Parrilla.

It took me some days to process this achievement and what this means to me and my family; in the first days I preferred to stay quiet and reflect about what had just happened and enjoy it with my wife and kids.

Now, I would like to officially share this special news with you.

I want to say a huge thank you to my thesis director Prof. Dr. Ramón Alberto Carrasco.

Huge thank you to my manager Stephan Hufnagl for all the support.

I also want to say a huge thank you to all the people who helped me during all my time as a PhD Student at Complutense University of Madrid.

What a ride, I cannot believe it is finished.

I just want to thank God for one more wonderful year. I loved 2017!!! Thank you!!!

I am a blessed man with a wife, daughters, and friends that love me.

Thank you for every person that I had the opportunity to talk and see this year, all the people in different countries of this wonderful world.

All of you helped me become a better person. I learned a lot this year with all of you.

Every one of you made me a better person and touched my life this year.

TensorFlow™ is an open source software library for numerical computation using data flow graphs. Nodes in the graph represent mathematical operations, while the graph edges represent the multidimensional data arrays (tensors) communicated between them. The flexible architecture allows you to deploy computation to one or more CPUs or GPUs in a desktop, server, or mobile device with a single API. TensorFlow was originally developed by researchers and engineers working on the Google Brain Team within Google’s Machine Intelligence research organization for the purposes of conducting machine learning and deep neural networks research, but the system is general enough to be applicable in a wide variety of other domains as well.

Happy birthday! Pentaho Community Meeting PCM17 celebrates its 10th anniversary this November with a 3-days event full of presentations and networking. And it-novum has the honor to host the event together with Pentaho. PCM17 will take place in Mainz where everything started in 2008. Mainz is centrally located and just a 20 minutes train ride away from Frankfurt international airport.

Pentaho Community Meeting is an informal gathering for Pentaho users from around the world. We meet to discuss the latest and greatest in Pentaho products and exciting geek stuff (techie track) as well as best practices of Pentaho implementations and successful projects (business track).

PCM17 is open to everyone who does something with Pentaho (development, extensions, implementation) or plans to do data integration, analytics or big data with Pentaho. Several Pentaho folks – architects, designers, product managers – will share their latest developments with us.

The event is community-oriented and open-minded. There’s room for networking and exchanging ideas and experiences. Participants are free to break off into groups and work together.
