Faced with the prospect of not having a day job, I went full force into searching for a business that I could run from the convenience of my own home.... on my computer. I found that in affiliate marketing and Profit Lance.

There are many affiliate and money making programs on the internet. There are also pure scams and problems which only show up after you've been in the program for some time. I've belonged to PIPS (Pure In Profit System) and GINS. PIPS lasted about 1 year or so before things started to go down the tubes and GINS lasted only a fraction of that time. I joined a couple of HYIP (High Yield Income Programs) where promises were made that you could double or triple your money inside of a few months. The only folks making money off of those programs seemed to be the originators.

Along comes affiliate marketing. I was first introduced to affiliate marketing by Tom Kish. Tom sells a great program in which he teaches individuals to obtain business lines of credit and credit cards in the amount of $200,000 or more. The affiliate program is available with Tom Kish but there was no support. Nothing teaches you how to market the program, at least past the very basic understanding of marketing.

So the search continued. I Googled "affiliate programs" and "making money online" and found a number of websites which were mainly sales letters promoting their own affiliate programs.
I narrowed it down to three:

I think my stay at it don't give up attitude came from my dad. In fact I know it came from my dad. Stay determined and either do it or don't do it, don't ever say that you don't care.

I first learned about blogging many years ago from this guy Gary Fong. Gary Fong, through his blog guides you through his life... and he has lead and leads an interesting story.

The good news however is that I finally see earnings. Today is the
first day that I've seen earnings with Profit Lance and I haven't
done much to concentrate on the Clickbank affiliate side.

seem to be getting flagged quite a bit. Answered some general questions on

Started out the day by looking at my AdWords which are promoting the

Another slight setback is that I sent in an article to
Ezine Article Submission http://www.ezinearticles.com/ and unfortunately they did not like the link that I was pointing to within the article. I submitted the same article to Go Articles http://www.goarticles.com/

I'm concentrating on putting websites (well subdomains) up with Adsense ads.

I’ve been interested in affiliate marketing for some time now.
The thrill that I see is that you can market online to produce sales for either your own product or that of someone else. While that may not excite some, the profit potential is unlimited and if it brings an end to the j.o.b. then all the better.
I ended up at some review sites which tended to promote one affiliate over another or used a sales letter to push you towards signing up with their affiliate (so they made money after you join). After weeding out the weak affiliates, I chose this one.

People are making money and it teaches you how to advertise (Adwords, Adsense, blogging, ezine articles, etc…) on the internet as well as giving you products in which to promote.
