We can take some advice from this article about traffic and all the time that can be wasted if it’s not targeted!
I’m wondering if you’ve ever tried placement ads and what is your take on them,can you really make money with them?

Great article! And while the ‘point blank, in your face, massive hysteria’ hasn’t come into play, there is a definite under current of panic in the hearts and minds of most everyone that isn’t wealthy these days. . . I’ve actually been doing quite a few of the things you mention AND will step it up a notch as I incorporate your other suggestions! Thanks for sharing this wonderful article with some great stuff.Driving traffic to your web site is also big on people’s minds when they first get started in internet marketing. So what is the difference? Advertising a web site differs from driving traffic in that advertising a web site generally assumes that you are paying someone else to create an advertisement a “blurb”, if you will for your web.

That’s a great tip.

To best benefit from the links coming in from published articles, using different anchor text in your URL will make the links look more natural.

Article marketing certainly works to bring in traffic and sales… A tip though for getting maximum results in your resource boxes you should create a new one (or vary it up slightly) with each article submission.

Thanks for the feedback.

I agree that some examples would be helpful. I have personally found that it is extremely simple to rank highly for terms that get searched 20-30 times per day. These terms can easily be found using the WordTracker tool I mentioned, and it’s relatively easy to create content that incorporates those terms.

NOTE: I had to remove the examples. It seems that when I provided examples here, Google dropped my ranking for each site and keyword I listed. I suppose it has something to do with links from this blog, but I’m not sure. But you definitely have to track every change you make when you operate multiple sites. One or two changes, and you can drop several positions on Google overnight. Sometimes, you’ll be dropped from the index entirely.

I should point out, though, that simply finding low competition keywords is not the only requirement for getting a top spot in the search engines. You must have some method for visitors and search engines to find you. Unless you have some type of link to the rest of the world, your site is simply an island in the middle ocean of the web. In fact, I’ll provide a few tips in my next post.
