Anime or Manga – Which is more popular?

When it comes to popularity and profitability the too have some similarities but more than a few differences too.

To the uninitiated anime and manga are cartoons, to the devoted they are a way of life with a culture, sub-cultures and huge interest.  Is one more popular than the other?  Could one exist without the other?

The potential profitability of anime and manga shouldn’t be overlooked.  The art is awesome, the films are interesting (if you are lucky enough to watch a version in a language you can understand) and some generations almost seem addicted to the plots and story-lines.

As an example go and watch naruto shippuden episodes, the naruto series has lots of series, plots, sub plots and some fine art.  There are books, dvd’s, posters and in general a huge range of merchantability and people of all age ranges and walks of life are into it.

The best part – Naruto Shippuden is a small section of the overall Manga and Anime marketplace.

SEO and SEM Research

Search Engine Optimization and Marketing Research

It’s been a while since I posted here because I have been heavily involved with a new SEO / SEM research project.

We all know that getting high natural listings in the search engines is important and I was lucky enough to find out about a stunning tool that has saved be hundreds of hours in research time.

In fact the ThemeZoom tool is so useful, that it made me realise that I should alter the focus of my consultancy work … and that’s exactly what I have done.

My clients have all seen significant improvements in the amount of natural traffic they get to the websites they operate.  It would be fair to say that the cost of my service was an initial barrier to them but now they can see the results, it seems they want me to work 24/7 🙂

My new service involves significant amounts of research and application of recognized latent semantic principles to ensure higher listings in the search engines.
