Além disso, Raimer ressaltou que o RapidShare está preparado para suprir um possível aumento de demanda.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Em um comunicado oficial, a CEO da empresa, Alexandra Zwingli, enumerou diversas razões que tornam o serviço diferenciado do Megaupload. “O RapidShare AG foi fundado na Suíça, sempre foi localizado no endereço fornecido e sempre executou os seus trabalhos sob nomes reais, diferente do que acontecia com o Megaupload, que tinha intermediários e empresas anônimas”, explica.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;A CEO ressaltou ainda que o serviço é tão legítimo quanto o YouTube, com serviços comparáveis ao Dropbox, e não oferece um sistema de recompensas para uploaders como o seu concorrente fazia. O porta-voz da companhia acrescenta que o ataque ao Megaupload não foi motivado pelo compartilhamento de arquivos ilegais, mas sim por ações criminosas de funcionários da empresa.&lt;br /&gt;
“Até onde sabemos, as alegações para o fechamento do Megaupload são baseadas no fato de eles terem feito vistas grossas para a pirataria e, em alguns momentos, terem dado suporte financeiro e técnico para que ela ocorra”, comenta. “Se esse foi o caso, então a lei deve ser aplicada de maneira rígida”, finaliza Raimer.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;O que é SOPA:&lt;/strong&gt;Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) (em tradução livre, Lei de Combate à Pirataria Online) é um projeto de lei da Câmara dos Deputados dos Estados Unidos que amplia os meios legais para que detentores de direitos autorais possam combater o tráfico online de propriedade protegida e de artigos falsificados. O objetivo geral é proteger o mercado de propriedade intelectual, impedindo que mais pessoas percam seus empregos por causa da pirataria. Já o Preventing Real Online Threats to Economic Creativity and Theft of Intellectual Property Act of 2011 (Ato de Prevenção Contra Roubos e Ameaças Virtuais à Propriedade iItelectual) é uma lei proposta nos Estados Unidos para combater sites relacionados à pirataria.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;O que é PIPA:&lt;/strong&gt; No Senado americano, circula o projeto de lei chamado PIPA (Protect IP Act), que tem o objetivo de proteger a propriedade intelectual, como o próprio nome traduzido sugere. Essas duas possíveis leis estão no meio de uma “briga” antiga: de um lado, a indústria do entretenimento defendendo a “censura”, do outro lado, as principais empresas da internet defendendo a liberdade de expressão.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Quem é a favor&lt;br /&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;As propostas têm apoio de emissoras de TV, gravadoras de músicas, estúdios de cinema e editoras de livros, que se sentem lesadas com a livre distribuição de filmes e músicas na web, principalmente em servidores internacionais. Disney, Universal, Paramount, Sonyx e Warner Bros. apoiam esses projetos.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Quem é contra&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Já empresas de tecnologia como Google, Facebook, Wikipedia, Craigslist, WordPress, entre outros, são contra os projetos de lei, alegando que, caso aprovados, eles teriam menos liberdade da internet e dão poderes em excesso para quem quiser tirar os endereços do ar, prejudicando o funcionamento da web em todo o mundo.&lt;br /&gt;
A Casa Branca também se manifestou contra os projetos, afirmando que eles podem atentar contra a liberdade de expressão na internet. Sem o apoio, eles podem sofrer modificações ou até serem diluídos no Congresso e no Senado americanos.&lt;br /&gt;
Em mensagem publicada em seu blog no último fim de semana, a Casa Branca afirmou que não pode apoiar “um projeto de lei que reduz a liberdade de expressão, amplia os riscos de segurança na computação ou solapa o dinamismo e inovação da internet global”.&lt;br /&gt;

No ano passado os projetos de lei SOPA e PIPA foram sugeridos no congresso americano. Elas acabaram recebendo bastante atenção da mídia por causa da censura prévia e estado de vigilância que ela sugeria aos provedores americanos. E devido às duras críticas que os projetos receberam, eles foram retirados de pauta do congresso e não vão mais ser votados.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div&gt;
O primeiro a ser arquivado foi o PIPA, que seria votado no dia 24 desse mês. O líder do senado americano, Harry Reid, disse que o projeto não seria votado do jeito que estava sendo proposto. Pouco depois, o principal idealizador do SOPA, Lamar Smith, abandonou e arquivou o projeto, dizendo que ele precisava ser revisto.&lt;/div&gt;
As duas foram arquivadas um dia depois de um enorme protesto organizado por grandes sites como o Google, Wikipédia e Reddit. Alguns deles retiraram suas páginas do ar como forma de sensibilizar seus usuários sobre o problema. A tática parece ter funcionado.&lt;br /&gt;
A ideia dos projetos, no entanto, podem aparecer novamente na forma de uma nova lei. Mas por causa da péssima impressão que a SOPA e PIPA causaram na Internet, dificilmente veremos elas saírem dos arquivos.&lt;br /&gt;

primeiro módulo são apresentadas as generalidades sobre o programa. Serão
