Even though hot rollers seem to be old-fashioned, it is the quickest way to luxurious curls. The thing you have to be careful about is exactly how your hair will react to the hot rollers. This is definitely one of those things you will want to practice!
If you are considering long luxurious curls for prom, use the biggest curlers in your set. And roll up more hair on each roller than you are used to with a curling iron. If you don’t have enough rollers to roll all of your hair at once, then after you take out the rollers you have already used, heat them again and put them back in the rest of your hair. Repeat this process until all of your hair is curled.
Before you know it your hair will be full of body and curls. Once you get the hang of it, it is the easiest way to hot-curl your way into great prom waves!

If you are considering wearing your hair up for prom, a side bun might be the right choice. This example is off to the side, low behind one ear, and it is easy to do!
You literally just tie your hair in a knot as many times as the length allows, and then pin it in place. If your bun looks too neat, then you can pull out pieces to give it a little messier look.

If you are going to wear these heels a lot, then its probably OK to spend more. If you will only wear them the one night, then spend less.
So ask yourself, “Do I want a pointy pair of pumps for prom?” If the answer is yes, spend according to your future needs, not just your needs for prom night!

If you are still looking for the perfect shoes for prom, don’t leave out Mary Janes. They are the oldest “new” fashion trend out there. Mary Jane flats were around over a hundred years ago…and they are back today with a vengeance!
This cute little pink pair would be a great choice for prom. And the best part is that you will get to use them afterward. Spending a little more money on shoes isn’t that bad if you get lots of use out of them after prom night.
I admit I am a shoe nut. I love them. Sometimes I just like to look at my shoes in my closet…I know its weird…but there you have it. I have more than one pair of Mary Janes myself. I love them. They are both cute and comfortable.
So if you are still deciding on what shoes to wear to prom, don’t leave out thinking about Mary Janes!
