Is possible to make money with real paid surveys? Sure it is. Will you get rich? Maybe, but more likely you will make some extra cash on the side to help out with the bills or the car payment. Is it really possible? Definitely.

Getting Going Isn’t Difficult

Getting started with online surveys isn’t difficult really. There are lots of resources out there to help you find some good company’s to work with. This is an important and key step. If you aren’t dealing with good companyies, then you might find yourself spinning your wheels, or worse yet, you might find yourself not getting paid for your efforts. That’s very discouraging and is often the reason people just flat out give up making money online.

You Must Make Yourself Available

Finding a base of companies to work with that you can trust is essential. More on that in a minute. There’s more to it than that though. Before you even get that far, you must decide that your are going to do this. You don’t have to dedicate every waking minute, but you must decide you are going to be available. Then, you must inform the list of companies, somewhat relentlessly, though politely, that you are available to work. And keep your promise. When the surveys start coming your way, fill them out, finish them and move on to the next. It’s like anything it, pursue it and it will happen.

Find A Community

Another tactic that you can employ to find great companies is to join a service that investigates and rates survey companies. No legitimate survey company is going to charge you to fill out surveys. Quite the opposite, they pay you. But it is worth paying for a joining a community based service allows you and others to rate survey company’s. Social proof and tribal knowledge is one of the best ways to ensure you aren’t going to get scammed.

Imagine How It Feels

Just imagine how it feels to have some extra cash as the end of the month to do with as you see fit. Whether its to plan a vacation, pay off an old bill or just splurge on yourself, it’s a nice option to have. Filling out real paid surveys can you there.

Get Started!

Like all good things, it requires action. So get started! By this time next week, you could have several surveys under your belt and be on the road to making a decent, online, part time income. You don’t have to sell shoes, schlepp burgers, or even leave your house. If you have a computer and can surf the web, you are most likely qualified. Give it a try!

There is money to be made filling out real paid surveys. You aren’t going to become a millionaire, but you can make real money pretty easily. Come visit my blog and figure out how.

In my head, candy dispensers will forever be associated with the cafeteria at my undergrad college. Whenever the warm food coming out of the kitchen was totally unrecognizable as anything edible (which happened more often than I would have liked), the next thing that came to mind was to “get thee to a cereal bin.” We were English and writing majors, hence the mangled Hamlet. Now, while I know for a fact that the food has since been improved from my days in school, I’d bet a good amount of money that those cereal dispensers are still there, ready to rescue starving students during midnight runs to the cafe during midterms. But these nostalgic thoughts also made me curious about how else these dispensers are used. Are those bins in my memory the only type out there, or are there others? And who else uses them aside from a collegiate cafeteria? So I set about to do my research, and this is what I ended up learning.

Three of the most common types of dispensers are gravity fed bins, portion controlled dispensers, and bulk bins. Each of them has their own distinctive features, making them suitable for a wide range of uses (although it does seem like anything liquid is not a good match for these styles of dispensers; they don’t have the seals to prevent liquids from leaking out). The gravity fed dispensers are the ones I suspect we had on campus. They’re bins that stand upright on a counter, with the storage area above and a pour spout at the bottom of the tank. As the name implies, when the lever for the spout is pulled gravity takes over, pouring the contents out into your waiting receptacle. They’re designed to keep food fresh, so many of them have tight-fitting lids with strong seals. The bins are constructed from a polycarbonate material that is both strong and able to keep UV rays from damaging the food inside. Polycarbonate is also stain resistant, and shouldn’t crack or yellow with age either. What’s nice about this style is the wide range of sizes that it comes in. If you need a twelve gallon gravity dispenser, there’s one out there for you. I also remember seeing one with a purple handle, which makes me happy because it means I could spice things up with a little bit of color and flair.

If a more stylish and designer look is what you’re aiming for with your candy or cereal dispensers, the portion controlled bins may be the best option. They don’t hold as much as the gravity bins or the bulk bins (only three to four gallons depending on the style), but they are some of the nicest looking ones out there. Some of the materials used to create them are black chrome, stainless silver steel, and clear and black acrylic. The combination of these materials gives a rather elegant look to a practical storage container. Some of the plastic parts on these dispensers are made from ABS plastic, which is a higher grade material than the polycarbonate in the gravity dispensers mentioned above. As you can imagine, this also means that the price point on a portion control bin is going to be a bit higher than the others. A paddle wheel is built into the spout, which is how the flow can be controlled in one ounce portions or smaller depending on how the dispenser is being used. If you’re looking for a wall mounted bin, many of these styles are light enough and sturdy enough to be used that way. There are also styles that have multiple portion control bins supported with one central stand or attached to each other.

However, those above stands may be a bit complicated for certain places and needs. If that’s the case, look into scoop and bulk bins. These are the simplest option out of the three styles listed here, a sturdy box that requires a scoop to remove the goods you’re stashing inside there. They’re spacious containers, however, and able to hold anywhere from one all the way up to twelve gallons. The polycarbonate models are perfect for keeping bulk amounts of food fresh, while the acrylic containers let customers get a good look at the food being stored inside without actually touching the materials (great for sanitary reasons). When it comes time to remove the food products, just lift up the lids and scoop the food out. The lack of spouts and smaller parts on these bins also makes them incredibly easy to clean.

So now that we know the different types of dispenser bins that are out there, the next question that needs to be asked is: what can they hold? I won’t say that the options are limitless, because there are some things that shouldn’t be stored in these containers. Liquid items, such as soups or batters, should NOT be used in these containers. They don’t have the water tight seals to support such foods, which will just lead to an added mess for you to clean up. And no one wants to clean up an extra mess, do they? Stick to dry goods when it comes to candy dispenser bins. Luckily, there’s a wide variety of dry goods that can be stashed away in here, such as candies, nuts, cereals, pastas and rice, coffee beans, flour, dry pet food, so on and so forth.

And the final question: who can use these dispensers? Really, if you’ve got the counter space for a dispenser you can take advantage of what it can hold for you. The variety of designs out there means that there’s a type that will look good in both commercial or retail settings, as well as a residential one. Some of the more elegant portion controlled models can be found in a hotel breakfast bar to dispense cereal, but it could also be used in someone’s home kitchen to make it easy to store macaroni, coffee beans, and other commonly used items. All of the styles have been seen in places like cafeterias, ice cream parlors, and other food service locations. The scoop bins could be used in the more commercial settings as well, such as in a kennel to store dry dog and cat food, or in a commercial bakery to keep things like nuts, flour, and other grains close at hand if they’re called for in large quantities.

If this was one of my college papers I’d wrap the article up with a nice and clear summary of my thesis. Now, I may be a little out of practice, but let’s give it a shot. The different styles of candy dispensers that are out there have their own unique and useful features, and can be used in a number of different settings to suit both residential and commercial needs. To say it a little less academically: a lot of people have found a lot of really useful ways to use these dispensers, especially when it comes to keeping items on hand and keeping them fresh at the same time. There are plenty of styles and models ready and waiting on the internet for you, so have fun looking around to find your ideal dispenser bin!

Let’s take a few minutes to discover just how important mindset really is, not only to the success of your business, but to your overall success and happiness in life too.

Mindset is really the mental attitude that determines how you will interpret and respond to situations. It’s about how you look at things, what you expect and how you respond – in every aspect of your life.

Mindset and mental attitudes are important in these major areas in our lives:

· Mental

· Emotional

· Physical

· Spiritual

· Financial

For most of us, when we start in business, it’s all about the how-to’s, finding systems, getting started and making money. We forget about the importance of our thought process, how important it is to stay positive and more importantly, to have the proper mindset in all things.

As we go about our busy days, we become beings of “doing” – we’re so busy doing things and getting things done, that we forget, or don’t pay attention to, our feelings or our gut, and what it’s telling us.

And, this isn’t about sappy feelings or emotions. It’s about listening to what your gut is telling you. For instance, have you ever been having a (business or personal) conversation with somebody, or working on putting a joint venture together and something just didn’t seem right (something didn’t feel right to you)? Most of us ignore these feelings and just forge on, instead of taking time out of our day to evaluate what’s really going on – maybe even deciding to listen to our gut.

This is just one aspect of mindset. There are many others, and it goes way beyond being positive and thinking good thoughts.

A major part of this that a lot of people forget (even some of those teaching this) is that you still have to take action. You can be positive and happy and be thinking all the right thoughts, but if you don’t take some action, go out and do something, nothing is going to change – well, except that maybe you’ll be happier.

I’m reminded of a time when a group of us were sitting at a round table discussion as part of a break-out session at a large conference. The woman at the head of the table was a well respected mindset coach and speaker, and as people were asking her questions, a woman spoke up and said she had been meditating for three hours a day, for over a year, and that nothing had changed in her life – except that financially she was now struggling. This woman was somewhat distraught, and I’ll never forget what the mindset coach said to her next.

She simply informed the woman that if she would meditate for 15 minutes a day and take the 2½ hours she had left over and go take some action, go do something to move herself closer to her goals she would be a lot better off. It was great advice.

There are books and courses written on mindset, the purpose of this article was simply to get you thinking about its importance – in your life and in your business. Don’t get so caught up in the how do to things that you lose sight of your why’s and your life. For many of us entrepreneurs, this is the missing piece, no matter how successful we become.

Project management is a whole field of study unto itself, but it is a practice that is also used frequently in daily life by those who have no background or training. In its most basic form, it simply is any way of managing a project or goal, whether it’s for business purposes or personal ones. Something as small as planning your child’s birthday party can fall under the category of project management, while on the other hand it could involve rolling out new changes at a corporation or developing a new product. To be successful in any of these goals, however, it’s a good idea to use a project management system to help organize your tasks and monitor their completion.

Generally, projects must be controlled to ensure that they are completed according to the right time frame, budget, and objectives. Some will have tight deadlines while others will be looser, but in all cases a good project management system can make sure that you are consistently making strides in the right direction. Without proper organization, it can be difficult for your team to stay on task. A sign of a poorly organized project is one in which the employees are not sure what they are supposed to be doing at any given time. With a good system, on the other hand, everyone will have deadlines, tasks, and will be able to report what they have been working on as well as provide feedback to others.

Communication is therefore an essential part of any good project management system, and there are online programs that offer discussion forums and other features of this nature. The team leader should be able to monitor work that is being completed and provide feedback when necessary, while at the same time being open online for any communication that the team members must pass on. Being available to answer questions and clarify any issues that arise can make a difference in the chances of a project being completed successfully.

Some features to look for in a project management system to help achieve these goals include a centralized dashboard area, the use of graphs and charts, an ability to upload designs or documents, and the use of calendars and discussion areas. Security is also important, so be sure that when you are storing data it is backed up and encrypted. You should also be able to allocate permission to access this data to those who are in need of it. These are just a few ways to better manage your next project.

Phil E Williams trains leading organizations on how to utilize the best project management system.

Remember the expression “a stitch in time saves nine.” Tailors and seamstresses lived by that. What stitches they used and the type of thread, created a garment that was strong and durable Or one that had the buttons falling off. Or had loose threads that when pulled would cause a hemline to drop or a sleeve to fall off. It’s the details, the attention paid to the little things, that’s often the difference between success or failure of a project. Here are a few of the pitfalls to avoid in the workplace.

Being Tardy:

We hate it when we’re told the delivery will arrive at 10am and they don’t arrive till 3:30pm. We feel like we’re being taken advantage of, that our time isn’t important. We feel that the phrase “Customer Service” is just hollow words to placate us. And if we’re waiting for someone to pick us up at 3 and they don’t arrive till 4, we consider them unreliable. Since this is the way we feel about others when they are not on time, what do people say and feel about you and your time management. Unreliable, irresponsible, can’t follow a schedule, questionable comprehension, doesn’t care; these are a few of the thoughts about you. Show up early, about 15 minutes, for all of your appointments. This way, you won’t feel rushed and will have time to gather your thoughts. At work, this will give you an opportunity to prepare for your day, talk to your co-workers and get ready. Punctuality and time management will prove you are responsible, that you can finish tasks on time. It shows that you can accept challenges and that you can get things done the right way.

Spelling and Grammar Mistakes:

We are a nation of bad spellers. Sometimes in a rush to get an idea down on paper or a document out, we make typographical errors. While these aren’t fatal career mistakes, they do show someone who is careless and has little attention to detail. And don’t blame spell check. It is a very useful tool, but does have a few flaws. For example, if you spell a word wrong but it spells another word correctly, the mistake will not get caught. Also, to, two, and too will cause problems. And proper names, slang, acronyms will come up as mistakes. If you’re unsure of how to spell a word, nothing can take the place of a good dictionary and thesaurus. Another way to avoid these problems from plaguing you is to have someone else proofread your work. Read your work out loud, to check the pace and flow of ideas. And use words you’re comfortable with.

The Name Game:

People are VERY particular about their name and job title. Calling someone by the wrong name, Bob instead of Bill, or Dave instead of David, says that you do not respect the individual. And mispronouncing the name shows that you do not pay attention. Next, getting their job title wrong, oh boy does that open up a can of worms. People have worked hard to earn their title, for in some cases, their identity is based upon it. Always make sure you get the name and title right. This is a major faux pas that can cause us to miss a great opportunity.

Not Answering The Question Asked:

Remember playing in the house on a rainy day and accidentally breaking a lamp, vase, or knickknack that has been around forever. First there was that moment of panic then comes the negotiations and agreeing on a cover story. Then, Mom comes over and asks, “What happened?” And right away, we answer, “I didn’t do it”, in a way that suggests that we did it. We just dug ourselves a hole that we could not get out of and before long; we’ve confessed to everything that we did. Later, while we’re sitting in our room, without TV or music (for these were the days before video games), we try to figure out what happened. It’s the same way in the workplace. We don’t answer the question that’s being asked. We answer according to the circumstances and tone of the questioner. And most times, we try to shift the blame and focus off of ourselves. But just like with Mom, the truth comes out, we’re in a time out and the consequences have to be dealt with. Always avoid the “it’s not my fault” reply. Do not blame others. Stand up, take responsibility, fix the problem, learn from the mistake, and do not repeat it. This approach will garner more respect, positive recognition, and will strengthen your reputation. Always stick to the truth. But remember, there are reasons why things happen. Tell the truth that answers the question without confessing your role. And if you say, “I’ll learn from this and it won’t happen again”, mean it!

Building a Mailing List of subscribers is the most important thing you should be doing as a marketer. Many times you will hear people tell you that the money is in the list, and if you don’t have a list then you are leaving money on the table. This is so true and is why you often see marketers trying all kinds of techniques to get you on their list. This usually involves the offer of a free gift in exchange for a prospect’s details. You could even end up on some marketer’s list even if you don’t want to be, because you gave them your details for more information, which they decide to use to send you more offers.

It’s easy enough to build a mailing list of prospects. Just get yourself a splash page displaying your offer and insert some autoresponder code – then promote the page like mad. However you could end up with a selection of prospects who have just signed up to receive what you are offering (as long as it’s free) and have no intention of receiving any more mail from you. Your list needs to contain people who are happy to hear of any future offers you have for them. With a quality list you can make money over and over again with a simple mailing of any program or product you want to promote.

In order to build a quality list you need a method of separating the “Freebie Seekers” from the “Freedom Seekers”. Many marketers bribe people onto their list by offering free e-books and software in exchange for their details and they get a lot of response that way. However most of these prospects are only interested in getting their hands on anything that is offered for free and will probably unsubscribe from your list as soon as they get it. Some won’t even bother to unsubscribe, they will simply ignore or block your email. Maybe even close down their email address so you end up with a lot of bouncing mail.

The secret to building a quality mailing list is to have “two lists”. The first list consists of a single letter that gives the prospect what they want then invites them to join the second list if they want to receive more offers from you. The second list is your newsletter which only promises to give them information on products you want to sell them. The freebie seekers won’t be interested in that but the freedom seekers probably will be, if they are impressed by your products and are willing to pay for them.

This method is useful if you want people to join your business opportunity as a free member. Your first list will explain what your business opportunity is about then give them an opportunity to join. This way you can outline what is expected from your prospect if they decided to join. Each person who joins then gets an invitation to join the second list which promises to provide further information about the opportunity such as the latest developments – or information on how they can build their business.

Make sure your first welcome letter in the first list informs the prospect that they are actually starting their own business and they get paid when they make sales – you are not offering them a job. I remember sending a follow up mail to a prospect to tell him that he can make money from the business opportunity he joined. I got an email back asking me to send him any money he has earned as a free member (who actually hasn’t done anything to earn it). So when I told him he would have to upgrade and pay a monthly fee, then work to build his business – he soon lost interest.

In order to start building a list of prospects you will need an autoresponder tool and a splash page. I recommend the “Home Business School guide to Autoresponders.” This guide will teach you how to create splash pages, follow up letters and attractive campaigns.

Each year businesses receive invitations to participate in a plethora of trade show exhibits. From local events to regional and global industry functions, there are always a multitude of opportunities for organizations in any market vertical to set up trade show displays and banner stands in hopes of garnering the crowd’s attention, networking with feasible prospects and stealthily determining what the competition is currently touting. However, just because a company receives an invite to attend various expos doesn’t mean that they should attend.

Whether your organization is a seasoned convention veteran or simply procuring its first banner stands and trade show displays, it’s important to exercise discretion and sound judgment when determining which functions promise the biggest and best return on investment. If you’re uncertain how to best discern how your convention time should be spent, fret not. There are some viable screening tactics that can be used to decide where your time, money and efforts should be spent.

Trade Show Exhibits: Go With What You Know First

The first step in selecting the best expos to attend is to look at your company’s prior participation at these functions. Hold a brainstorming session with your sales and marketing team to discuss the events from last year and dialogue about which ones yielded the most impressive results. While sheer attendance numbers is obviously a factor to consider, it shouldn’t be the main focal point of this meeting. Instead, gather the data on the numbers of leads generated and even on deals that have closed due to attending a specific event. All these factors combined will give you a solid understanding of whether previously attended trade show exhibits are worth a second appearance for your organization.

How To Approach Unfamiliar Marketing Conventions

Naturally, your organization will want to consider never before attended marketing events and conventions as well. While you may not have firsthand experience at an expo, you can still gather data and details to ensure your business can make an informed attendance decision. The first step in this process is to contact the hosting organization directly. Ask to see a list of last year’s attendees and, if possible, a current list of businesses that have already committed to setting up their trade show displays and banner stands for this year’s expo. Business owners always know the names of their competitors; if yours are on the attendee list, chances are you’ll want your business to be there as well.

Another great way to determine the possible benefits at a specific event is to leave your trade show displays and banner stands back at the office at first. Rather than spending money on presenter fees and shipping charges, simply purchase a few basic attendee passes for your employees. As an attendee, they can peruse the event on an up close and personal level, determine the size of the crowd and monitor the engagement of the competition. These important factors can help determine whether it’s worth it for your company to attend as an exhibitor in future years without spending critical dollars during the screening process.

Online surveys are all the rage these days. You are “polled” on many sites as you enter or leave them. You get emails asking you to give your opinions on various topics. And you can see the results of surveys in all sorts of blogs and online news sites. We are being surveyed more than ever before. But can we trust the results of those surveys? Do they tell you anything which can help your online business? Are the results biased in any way?

Social scientists know that in order for a survey to provide relevant and useful information the research has to be conducted carefully, the questionnaire has to be professionally structured and – crucially – you have to get the right participants. If you run an online business selling lawnmowers for instance, your survey on the best one to buy should really only involve people who have bought lawnmowers and who probably have experience of using several different ones. Otherwise your results could be nonsense if the data includes the opinion of people who have never bought a lawnmower. In surveys, participation from the right people is crucial.

New research has looked at this issue and discovered that the key to participation in online surveys is the reputation of the sponsoring company – not the kind of survey tool that is used. It seems that you can use any survey tool, as long as the reputation of the company asking the questions is high. In other words, if you want to get meaningful results from any online polling your company does you need to establish your reputation BEFORE you do your survey. Concentrate on branding, get people on social networks saying you are brilliant and then you will get effective participation in your surveys.

However, many companies appear to try looking for the best online survey tool first. They worry about whether one kind of software will produce better results than another. Indeed, many companies even go to the lengths of having survey tools produced specifically for them using bespoke programming. But it doesn’t matter; what matters first is the reputation of the company doing the survey.

The only time the survey tool matters is when the sponsoring company is not known. If no-one knows your business then the potential participants want to know ho reliable and trustworthy the survey software is. In other words, the reputation of the online survey tool only matters when your business is unknown.

If people already know about your business the only way you are going to get meaningful participation in your online surveys is to improve your reputation. It is yet more evidence that you should always concentrate on building your business reputation.

Graham Jones is a psychologist who has investigated the way people use the Internet. His research can help you make the most of the Internet, particularly if you are hoping to make money online.

PPC is not an easy task because there are many things you have to get involved with. There is a lot of competition out there and therefore you need to have the right set of keywords. It is important that you follow the procedure of PPC properly otherwise you will be losing a lot of money. This article will talk about the number of benefits that you can get by availing PPC service and how can it control over your cost. You could go through the PPC services articles which will provide you with a step by step procedure on how you can manage your advertisements through PPC services. If you find a cheaper advertisement than the PPC service that does not mean that it will be good. There are several features which the PPC service has and you can determine the reliability of the service through these features.

PPC Service will Offer you with the Service of Controlling the Bids:
Keywords are the main part of these services. Here you get to bid for the keywords. Through this bidding, you will be able to make a decision as to which keywords to use for your advertisements and which keywords not to use. Through these keywords, you could get a lot of traffic on your advertisement and you have to pay for every click and the huge traffic means unnecessary clicks for which you have to pay. Through the PPC service facility you will be able to control this. You will be able to have some control over the bids and your money will also not be wasted.

A Reliable PPC Service Will Also Give You a Control over Your Cost:
When looking for a good service you have to make sure that it has the feature of cost controlling which will allow you to save money when people click on the advertisement unnecessarily. What exactly are the unwanted or unnecessary clicks? These are clicks made by people who just click on the link for no good reason. They open the link just because it is visible to them on the page and the minute the page opens, they close it. There are a number of people who are very habitual of doing these clicks which can cost you a lot, but with this service you will be able to control the unwanted cost.

It is not easy to cut down the traffic if you do not take care of it. If you really do not want to waste your money, you have to keep a constant watch on your advertisement and if you see a very high traffic and a large number of clicks, you can simply cut down the keywords you have used for your advertisement so that people do not click on it unnecessarily. Through these keywords you can increase the view of the advertisement and you can also cut it down any time you like. This feature is very helpful for you because it will help you in both ways.

Now Tracking Is Quite Easy:
It is not possible that you keep a track of the advertisement all day long; therefore you can leave this task on the PPC service because it will keep a track for you. A good PPC service will send emails to you regularly, which will help keep a track on your advertisement.

For hair
If you have long hair you can just put your hair up in a high bun. Start by brushing your hair back off your face and tie it a pony tail on top of your head, then wrap your hair around to form a bun. You can also use a soft foam form under the bun to lift it up a bit higher (you can get these from hair supply shops). If you have short hair you may be able to hire a Geisha wig from a Fancy Dress Shop or try looking on eBay as you may be able to pick up a cheap one online. If you look up pictures of Geisha Girls, a lot of them wore wigs anyway.

Next, secure some silk orchids in your hair. Put some silk ribbon around the bun and then put the orchids in the hair to one side of the bun in your hair. Again look up photo’s to get the right look

For makeup
For the base makeup use a white zinc based foundation, you can also mix cold cream with cornstarch to create the white foundation. You may need to add water for the perfect consistency. Cover even your brows. Powder your face with flour or talc powder.

For eyes
Apply a black liquid or pencil liner mainly to top lids. Tradition Geishas do not wear mascara. But it will look very plain if you don’t use mascara and if you have light coloured hair, black mascara would help with darkening your eyelashes so that the make-up looks correct. The only problem with using liquid eye liner is that it does require a bit of practice in applying before you can get it to look right. If you are having trouble applying it, try using a sharp black pencil eye liner as a guide, then paint the liquid eye liner over the top.

Try also putting a couple of eye lash extensions on as well.

For Eyebrows
Draw a brow over your own brow, but extend a little further. Try using a grey/black (charcoal) eyebrow pencil. Shade in the brow area with a base of pink or brown/copper coloured eyeshadow.

For Lips
Cover lips with concealer and the white cornstarch mixture. Draw in a bow-lip with cherry red lip liner, making sure to go outside the lip. Colour in with red lipstick

For Blush
Geishas themselves have almost plain white faces with just the hint of cherry blossom pink for contouring, but again we like to go for a more modern, stand out look, so we like to use a pink blush on the cheeks.
