There are many types of property out in the market, terrace, detached, semi-detached and apartments. Each property has its own market of people too, for example, a flat usually applies to a student where’s a house usually applies to a family. Each property also has to looked after, this includes maintenance, hygiene, its presentation and recycling, which can include cleaning out bins (i.e. rubbish removal), sweeping patios, clearing litter etc. Even with an ‘in-town’ property, since the recession, prices are still high, although slowly decreasing, still high. Since the recession, not many properties have been sold, though there is still a general circulation for students or middle/upper class families.

Properties in the countryside can be more tantalizing then others. This may be because there is that added bit of tranquillity with an out of town property as the amount of people and volume of traffic decreases. Secondly, it usually gives people more space not just for themselves, but for vehicles and storage space. The downside for property is that it is out of the way of useful places, including shops and town centres. Properties in town centres are useful as they are close to most working places, train stations and bus stations. However, they are also more prone to the amount of people living in those areas, and the volume of noise and traffic increases.

The amount of houses in a terrace row can vary as it depends on the length of the street.
There are several advantages of living in a terrace house. The most obvious is their location (usually). Being near town, it means a shorter distance to supermarkets, workplaces and bars. Secondly, if the neighbours are friendly enough, then a good social life can be built and the lending of items is also useful. Thirdly, there will always be a good neighbourhood watch, as there are more people living in that area.

There are also several disadvantages. The most obvious is the noise content. Being in such an enclosed area means you are more vulnerable to noise from neighbours, traffic etc. The second is car parking space which can be made more difficult if there is a lot of drivers in the street.

The most obvious way of obtaining home comforts is through the security and safety a house can offer. Secondly and maybe more important, is the modern furniture found in properties. People decorate their home according to what appeals to them most, so in a way, a house’s furniture and cleanliness is portraying an individual’s personal way of life.

Secondly, most décor in houses is now usually creamy white-bright colours (which help highlight the furniture). The only problem with this is companies increase the price of these items as they are more looked for.

Presentation to passers by is as important as a property looks from the inside as a more presentable, cleaner looking house not only pleases neighbours, but it also means there’s a higher chance of it selling (or a chance of it selling more). This can even include gardening or the inclusion of plants to a property. Well trimmed hedges and grass gives its tenants a more warm welcome than that without.

<![endif]-->In today’s society we all take pride in our homes and try are best to make them stand out from the rest whether this is by decorating the interior or exterior. I n today’s property market the property’s are always looking into trendy ways to add appeal to a property which is usually achieved by keeping the house light and airy the less clutter the better as this make the space look bigger which is always a benefit.

For those property developers with a creative mind I have seen many of them turn to Stretch Ceilings to add character to a property and that appeal to the people visiting these are becoming a great alternative to traditional suspended ceilings so many of us went for.

The Stretch Ceilings are available in a wide range of colours and finishes require no painting or decoration is hygienic and non toxic.

What make them widely used by many in the ease of installation which is quick with little disruption to your home or business and can easily be removed and reassembled to allow access to the space above what a fantastic product which is enjoyed by so many.

New Properties Being Built With disabled stair Lifts pt 2

Following on from our post a few weeks ago about new properties being built with disabled lifts we have heard a rumor about some large property development firms actually creating a percentage of their houses with stairlifts pre installed. We can’t reveal the exact companies at this point but we have been told that the estimated number of disabled adults in the UK is about 10 million which means almost 15% of the UK people have some form of disability and property developers are simply trying to capture this market.

It’s a very good way of capturing this percent of the market as detailed in the last post: “Public buildings such as government buildings, library and schools have to ensure that disability access is implemented. Regulations are coved in part M of the Building Regulations and also in the Disability Discrimination Act that was introduced in 1996.”

So the larger property developers are trying to ensure they can offer home for all ready to move into. I can’t see this spreading to small property developers or the rent market but i think it’s a good step to help people. In the past there have been specific property developers who create ground floor flats or similar bungalows to attract this type of home seeker.

Property market in UK finds path to recovery

The property market all over the world experienced a set back due to the economic recession. Though property is still suffering worldwide, the UK property market has something to smile about as it begins it journey towards recovering slowly. According to recent British trends the recovering process of the property market in the UK has not only been small, but has also shown great amount of perseverance as stated by Graham Norwood, the property correspondent on Business 24-7.

Mortgage products have been made available to UK home buyers on a large scale. These products are a sign of the recovering process of the property market. Besides this, the property prices in UK have also seen a rise of almost 0.9 per cent, which is very good for the property market.

Home prices in different parts of the UK, though declining, have been declining at a very slow rate. North Ireland, one of the worst hit places during the property crisis has seen great amount of improvement as the home prices have now dropped by 4.1 per cent, compared to the 8 per cent fall that it had experienced in 2008.

Many other locations in UK have been experiencing similar improvements, which has given the property market hope to get back on its own feet.

New Properties Being Built With Lifts

The technology being used in the Property Development industry is always being pushed, kitchens with self hovering floors, built in wireless sound systems, effective heating solutions and some new houses even have heating and light detection so as you walk around your house the lighting and heating follows you from room to room.

Such features are normally seen on high end properties where the additional features that cost thousands are seen as a bolt on extra to a normally large building budget.

Another form of technology being implemented in to houses are Disabled Lifts.
