Today we finished up a series the pastor has been doing in Ecclesiastes. Solomon, the wisest and richest man of his time starts this book with a lamentation. With all his money and time and wisdom he found EMPTINESS all around him. He ends the book with an exhortation to love GOD and serve him only...to be a good steward.
Looking at my past choices, I have been a bad steward. In trying to be all things to all people, I forgot about God and putting His needs before my own. I wanted my husband and children and family to think I was "all that". I talked a good game, but was really experiencing what Solomon was "vanity and emptiness".
I now have a clear vision of my future: reading the Bible everyday, praying over Every Decision, and listening to God. God is not my copilot, He is my Pilot.
My business is getting ready to blossom -the harvest will be for God...... In His word He tells us to sow in the morning, and then again at night- for you don't know when the best time is and which of the two will do better...so do both! How wise. He tells us also to be Bold in our investments- and not worry about dividing them into 7 or even 8 parts for who knows what the future holds. Again , great advice.

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog! This is my first post, so let me have some feedback and tell me what I do right.
Mindset- this is the place your mind goes when you have things facing you- good, bad or scarey. Where do you want your mindset to be- cowering in the corner gibbering or standing up and fighting your battles for you? Remember, life is a mind game and it does matter how you play. How are you talking to yourself- lot's of negatives (ie: I'm so stupid, I'm dumb, I'm not able, I can't...)or can you try the positive approach- Okay, this is hard, but I can figure it out, or, I can do this, or, I am smart... Sometimes we get so much negative that we feel "funny" if we try to change the dialog to positive. I know in my life I heard way more negative stuff than positive growing up- it took years to overcome it all! No one told me earlier in life how to change how I thought. Now I have a business that embraces all the best life has to offer- Advantage Conferences.
More later...
