As part of our development life cycle we often take feedback from our customers on what would make their life easier. We have seen which pages you use the most and have given you the option to open these by default. You can then access your Projects, Tasks, Timesheet Pages and many others with only click from anywhere in the app!

This setting will be turned on as default for all new Users.

At ProWorkflow we realize that your time precious. We understand our customers are busy people that have plenty of Projects and Tasks on the go at once. It is important to know how to sort through all that information to find what you are looking for quickly.

This is where the sorting options on the Projects Page and Tasks Pages come into play allowing you to group your work quickly for easier filtering which, by default, saves you time.

Additionally, the page will refresh near instantly so it really is a time saver!

The ‘Grouping’ drop down menu

The drop down menu with the Grouping options is located on the right hand side of both the Projects Page and Tasks Page. This will give you several options which you can use to group your Projects and Tasks depending on your needs.

Sort using the Headings

Selecting one of the Sort Headings above your Projects and Tasks on the respective pages will allow you to organize them by ascending or descending order depending on the heading you choose.

With our Custom Reports module, we make reporting quick and easy. Users can create Reports with exact information, relevant and all on one individual document making the creation phase and presenting phase an enjoyable experience instead.

The Custom Reports module can be found under the Reports Tab, next to the pre-made Reports we provide. The module will undoubtedly become an integral part of your reporting processes regardless of the industry you’re in or the size of your organization.

Selecting the Data

Once you’re on the Custom Reports Page, click the Green “+” Icon and select ‘Custom Report’. This will prompt a new Pop Up window where you can get started.

Step 1

· Input a name for the Custom Report and a description (if necessary).

· Decide on whether the Report should be shared across the organization or only visible to you.

Step 2

Select the exact Data you wish to see on the desired Report. Data at Project level, Task level, related Time, Expense Data, Communication and Bookmarks Data can all be brought across onto one single document!

Note: There is a difference between Time Allocated and Task Time Allocated as they represent two complete different fields on the Project Details Page. Time Allocated refers to the Time that is Allocated to the entire Project. Task Time Allocated is a sum of all the Tasks and their Allocated Time.

You can further customize the Report by selecting the Order and Grouping of the Data you wish to see on the Report. (It is recommended that you skip this step upon the first time creating the Custom Report. Later on you can come back and Edit the Custom Report and re-arrange the order of Data).

Step 3

The final step involves deciding what Search Filters should be used to generate the relevant Data.

On this section you have access to a list of different filters you can select to narrow down the Search feature of the Custom Report.

This nifty feature applies to the Search function in the following modules: Project Archive, Task Archive, Quote Archive, Invoice Archive, Timeline and Calendar.

In a nutshell, if you consecutively Search using the above modules then, upon selecting “New Search”, the previous Search filters are automatically used. Thus saving you plenty of time and ensuring that your hairline is saved from receding any further.

The Timeline module is can be found on each and every individual Project Detail page of your existing Projects. The display of Dates and Time on the Timeline Module located on the Project Details page is a direct reflection of the Project itself. Changes made on the Timeline will also immediately affect the Project and Tasks.

The Timeline can also be found on the Timeline page. The Timeline page is designed to collaborate with Search Filters a selection of Active Projects and have them all displayed next to one another in a comparative manner.

Functionality

Drag, Multi-select and Export

Clicking and dragging the blocks on the Timeline Gantt chart alters the dates of the Project. You can postpone or advance your Project scope as you please.

Clicking and dragging the edge of the blocks will extend the due date for the Timeline Tasks you have selected.

Hold down the Control (CTRL) key on the keyboard and select the Tasks you would like to alter.

Click Export to download an image file of the Timeline, the image file is perfectly suited for printing.
