Maka tersiarlah dakwah itu ke tengah-tengah masyarakat Arab dan kabilah-kabilah, sehingga membuat agama yang baru ini, yang tadinya hanya terkurung ditengah-tengah lingkaran gunung-gunung Mekah, kini berkumandang gemanya ke seluruh jazirah.

Mereka, kaum Quraisy itu, juga menyusun suatu alat propaganda anti Muhammad. Lebih gigih lagi mereka memikirkan hal ini sesudah orang-orang yang berziarah itu diajak juga oleh Rasul Saw supaya beribadat hanya kepada Allah yang Esa. Beberapa orang dari kalangan Quraisy berunding dan mengadakan pertemuan di rumah Walid bin’l-Mughira. Walid mengusulkan supaya kepada peziarah-peziarah orang-orang Arab itu dikatakan bahwa dia (Muhammad) seorang juru penerang yang mempesonakan, apa yang dikatakannya merupakan pesona yang akan memecah-belah orang dengan orangtuanya, dengan saudaranya, dengan isteri dan keluarganya. Dan apa yang dituduhkan itu pada orang-orang Arab pendatang itu merupakan bukti, sebab penduduk Mekah sudah ditimpa perpecahan dan permusuhan.

Di samping propaganda itu Quraisy harus punya propaganda lain lagi. Untuk propaganda itu Quraisy akan mengandalkan pada Nadzr b. Harith. Orang ini pernah pergi ke Hira dan mempelajari cerita raja-raja Persia, peraturan-peraturan agamanya, ajaran-ajarannya tentang kebaikan dan kejahatan serta tentang asal-usul alam semesta. Setiap dalam suatu pertemuan Muhammad mengajak orang kepada Allah, ia lalu datang menggantikan tempat Muhammad dalam pertemuan itu. Maka berceritalah ia kepada Quraisy tentang sejarah dan agamanya, lalu katanya: Dengan cara apa Muhammad membawakan ceritanya lebih baik daripada aku? Bukankah Muhammad membacakan cerita-cerita orang dahulu seperti yang kubacakan juga? Orang-orang Quraisy menuduh, bahwa sebagian besar apa yang dibawa Muhammad berasal dari seorang budak Nasrani yang bernama Jabr. Untuk itulah datang Firman Tuhan:

“Kami sungguh mengetahui bahwa mereka berkata; yang mengajarkan itu adalah seorang manusia. Bahasa orang yang mereka tuduhkan itu bahasa asing, sedang ini adalah bahasa Arab yang jelas sekali.” (Qur’an: 16: 103)

SELAMA tiga tahun berturut-turut piagam yang dibuat pihak Quraisy untuk memboikot Muhammad dan mengepung Muslimin itu tetap berlaku. Dalam pada itu Muhammad dan keluarga serta sahabat-sahabatnya sudah mengungsi ke celah-celah gunung di luar kota Mekah, dengan mengalami pelbagai macam penderitaan, sehingga untuk mendapatkan bahan makanan sekadar menahan rasa laparpun tidak ada. Baik kepada Muhammad atau kaum Muslimin tidak diberikan kesempatan bergaul dan bercakap-cakap dengan orang, kecuali dalam bulan-bulan suci.

Pada bulan-bulan suci itu orang-orang Arab berdatangan ke Mekah berziarah, segala permusuhan dihentikan - tak ada pembunuhan, tak ada penganiayaan, tak ada permusuhan, tak ada balas dendam. Pada bulan-bulan itu Muhammad turun, mengajak orang-orang Arab itu kepada agama Allah, diberitahukannya kepada mereka arti pahala dan arti siksa. Segala penderitaan yang dialami Muhammad demi dakwah itu justru telah menjadi penolongnya dari kalangan orang banyak. Mereka yang telah mendengar tentang itu lebih bersimpati kepadanya, lebih suka mereka menerima ajakannya. Blokade yang dilakukan Quraisy kepadanya, kesabaran dan ketabahan hatinya memikul semua itu demi risalahnya, telah dapat memikat hati orang banyak.

Gagalnya Pemboikotan

Akan tetapi, penderitaan yang begitu lama, begitu banyak dialami kaum Muslimin karena kekerasan pihak Quraisy - padahal mereka masih sekeluarga: saudara, ipar. sepupu - banyak diantara mereka itu yang merasakan betapa beratnya kekerasan dan kekejaman yang mereka lakukan itu. Dan sekiranya tidak ada dari penduduk yang merasa simpati kepada kaum Muslimin, membawakan makanan ke celah-celah gunung1 tempat mereka mengungsi itu, niscaya mereka akan mati kelaparan. Hisyam ibn ‘Amr adalah salah orang yang termasuk paling simpati kepada Muslimin. Tengah malam ia datang membawa unta yang sudah dimuati makanan atau gandum. Bilamana ia sudah sampai di depan celah gunung itu, dilepaskannya tali untanya lalu dipacunya supaya terus masuk ke tempat mereka dalam celah itu.

Merasa kesal melihat Muhammad dan sahabat-sahabatnya dianiaya demikian rupa, ia mengajak beberapa orang untuk membatalkan piagam pemboikotan itu. Demikianlah piagam itu batal dengan sendirinya, walaupun beberapa tokoh Quraisy seperti Abu Jahl menentangnya. Beberapa penulis biografi dalam hal ini berpendapat, bahwa diantara mereka yang bertindak menghapuskan piagam itu terdapat orang-orang yang masih menyembah berhala. Sesudah piagam disobek, Muhammad dan pengikut-pengikutnyapun keluar dari lembah bukit-bukit itu. Seruannya dikumandangkan lagi kepada penduduk Mekah dan kepada kabilah-kabilah yang pada bulan-bulan suci itu datang berziarah ke Mekah. Meskipun ajakan Muhammad sudah tersiar kepada seluruh kabilah Arab di samping banyaknya mereka yang sudah menjadi pengikutnya, tapi sahabat-sahabat itu tidak selamat dari siksaan Quraisy, juga dia tidak dapat mencegahnya.

Perlindungan Banu Hasyim dan Banu Muttalib
Sementara itu Muhammad juga tetap gigih menjalankan tugas dakwahnya dan dakwa itupun mendapat pengikut bertambah banyak. Quraisy segera berkomplot menghadapi Muhammad itu. Sekali lagi mereka pergi menemui Abu Talib. Sekali ini disertai ‘Umara bin’l-Walid bin’l-Mughira, seorang pemuda yang montok dan rupawan, yang akan diberikan kepadanya sebagai anak angkat, dan sebagai gantinya supaya Muhammad diserahkan kepada mereka. Tetapi inipun ditolak. Muhammad terus juga berdakwah, dan Quraisypun terus juga berkomplot. Untuk ketiga kalinya mereka mendatangi lagi Abu Talib. “Abu Talib’” kata mereka, “Engkau sebagai orang yang terhormat, terpandang di kalangan kami. Berat sekali bagi Abu Talib akan berpisah atau bermusuhan dengan masyarakatnya. Juga tak sampai hati ia menyerahkan atau membuat kemenakannya itu kecewa. Dimintanya Muhammad datang dan diceritakannya maksud seruan Quraisy. Lalu katanya: “Jagalah aku, begitu juga dirimu. Jangan aku dibebani hal-hal yang tak dapat kupikul.” Pamannya ini seolah sudah tak berdaya lagi membela dan memeliharanya. Sedang kaum Muslimin masih lemah, mereka tak berdaya akan berperang, tidak dapat mereka melawan Quraisy yang punya kekuasaan, punya harta, punya persiapan dan jumlah rmanusia. Sebaliknya dia tidak punya apa-apa selain kebenaran. Tetapi jiwa Rasulullah Saw tetap teguh, ia berkata kepada pamannya: “Paman, demi Allah, kalaupun mereka meletakkan matahari di tangan kananku dan meletakkan bulan di tangan kiriku, dengan maksud supaya aku meninggalkan tugas ini, sungguh tidak akan kutinggalkan, biar nanti Allah yang akan membuktikan kemenangan itu ditanganku, atau aku binasa karenanya.”

Gemetar orang tua ini mendengar jawaban Muhammad Saw. Seketika lamanya Abu Talib masih dalam keadaan terpesona. Kemudian dimintanya Muhammad datang lagi, yang lalu katanya: “Anakku, katakanlah sekehendakmu. Aku tidak akan menyerahkan engkau bagaimanapun juga!” Sikap dan kata-kata kemenakannya itu oleh Abu Talib disampaikan kepada Banu Hasyim dan Banu al-Muttalib. Pembicaranya tentang Muhammad itu terpengaruh oleh suasana yang dilihat dan dirasakannya ketika itu. Dimintanya supaya Muhammad dilindungi dari tindakan Quraisy. Mereka semua menerima usul ini, kecuali Abu Lahab.

Sikap permusuhan Quraisy terhadap kaum muslimin pun semakin menjadi-jadi. Setiap kabilah itu langsung menyerbu kaum Muslimin yang ada di kalangan mereka: disiksa dan dipaksa melepaskan agamanya. Dikisahkan seorang budak yang telah muslim, Bilal, disiksa ke atas pasir di bawah terik matahari yang membakar, dadanya ditindih dengan batu dan akan dibiarkan mati. Muhammad juga tidak terkecuali mengalami gangguan-gangguan - meskipun sudah dilindungi oleh Banu Hasyim dan Banu al-Muttalib. Umm Jamil, isteri Abu Jahl, melemparkan najis ke depan rumahnya. Tetapi cukup Muhammad hanya membuangnya saja. Dan pada waktu sembayang, Abu Jahl melemparinya dengan isi perut kambing yang sudah disembelih untuk sesajen kepada berhala-berhala. Ditanggungnya gangguan demikian itu dan ia pergi kepada Fatimah, puterinya, supaya mencucikan dan membersihkannya kembali.

Penyair-penyair memakinya, orang-orang Quraisy berkomplot hendak membunuhnya di Ka’bah. Rumahnya dilempari batu, keluarga dan pengikut-pengikutnya diancam. Perioda yang telah dilalui dalam hidup Muhammad Saw ini adalah perioda yang paling dahsyat yang pernah dialami oleh sejarah umat manusia.

Islamnya Hamzah ra

Islamnya Hamzah ra terjadi kira-kira pada tahun ke enam kerasulan beliau. Pada suatu hari Abu Jahl bertemu dengan Muhammad, ia mengganggunya, memaki-makinya dan mengeluarkan kata-kata yang tidak pantas dialamatkan kepada agama ini. Tetapi Muhammad tidak melayaninya. Setelah dijumpainya, diangkatnya busurnya lalu dipukulkannya keras-keras di kepalanya. Beberapa orang dan Banu Makhzum mencoba mau membela Abu Jahl. Tapi tidak jadi. Kuatir mereka akan timbul bencana dan membahayakan sekali, dengan mengakui bahwa ia memang mencaci maki Muhammad dengan tidak semena-mena. Sesudah itulah kemudian Hamzah menyatakan masuk Islam. Ia berjanji kepada Muhammad akan membelanya dan akan berkurban di jalan Allah sampai akhir hayatnya.

Pihak Quraisy merasa sesak dada melihat Muhammad dan kawan-kawannya makin hari makin kuat. Terpikir oleh Quraisy akan membebaskan diri dari Muhammad, dengan cara seperti yang mereka bayangkan, memberikan segala keinginannya. Utba b. Rabi’a, seorang bangsawan Arab terkemuka, mencoba membujuk Quraisy ketika mereka dalam tempat pertemuan dengan mengatakan bahwa ia akan bicara dengan Muhammad dan akan menawarkan kepadanya hal-hal yang barangkali mau menerimanya. Prophet advised that they may go into Abissiniyan (Ethiopia) that people embraced Christianity. "It was ruled a king and no one is persecuted there. Thus the story of Prophet Muhammad SAW in building communities through economic activity and trade. As believers, we should emulate him. Dikala young, he already make a living for his own life, he mengembala goats and trade to meet their needs. STORY OF A taxi driver

I have heard a lot about The Seven Hidden Secrets of Motivation before I finally had the courage to borrow it (of course from a friend). I usually shy away from titles with the numbers because I do not believe it really possible for anyone to condense the issues of success into a number of steps spell. This makes it difficult to get a quick grasp what this chapter is about understanding that makes the content a bit more difficult because you have to find the final message of this chapter.

I had to return several times to try and understand each of his chapters.

TRANSFORMATION OF MIND

Transformation kudefinisikan mind as a thinking person's maturation. Like what happened to one of my friend, he admitted that he is undergoing a transformation of mind. The transformation of the mind does not always associated with negative things like that thought the man had been possessed by a teaching / specific flow. Transformation experienced by my friend's mind is a change in the way he looked at life.

The way we see life will have an effect on our attitude in life. When compared objects, life is like a body that has many facets. We are accustomed to seeing life in a particular viewpoint. Point of view we feel comfortable that we do not want to move to another viewpoint. The question is whether we will forever stand on the point of view?

There are various factors that cause someone to change the point of view. Stepping from the safe zone to a zone that is not necessarily safe. A challenge and also the maturation of self. Because we are free to change the point of view then at least our hearts can be more calm because we can return to its original point of view if the new viewpoint is no better. But if the change is due to angle of view we escaped from the viewpoint of the original, is there a comfortable place again?

The transformation of the mind is a mapping from the set point of view to the set point of view itself. Indeed the transformation of mind, we'll get a different perspective to address the various issues in this life. Environment around us is a trigger factor inhibiting factors as well as the transformation of the mind itself.
