Formerly known as Title Fight, PlayStation AllStars Battle Royale has been made official by Sony and SuperBot Entertainment. Here's everything we know:

Playstation AllStars Battle Royale Overview

The game immediately looks almost identical to SSB, but with HD graphics. However, the mechanics of the game appear to be quite different. How you win (at least in the game mode shown) is what seems to set it apart from Smash. While in Smash your goal is to build up your opponents percenteage meter and them knock them off the stage, Battle Royale has no health bar at all. Instead, by fighting you earn AP, which builds up your super meter. The super meter has 3 levels, with level 3 being the largest and most effective attack. These supers are the only way to kill your opponent. An interesting and strange mechanic, but possibly brilliant one. This virtually eliminates camping or running, as you need to fight in order to get AP and kill your opponents.

Playstation AllStars Battle Royale Characters

SuperBot displayed 6 characters at the event- Radec (Killzone!), Fat Princess (Fat Princess), Kratos (God of War), Sweet Tooth/Needles Kane (Twisted Metal), Sly Cooper, and Parappa the Rapper- and each has a very unique style and feel. I'll break down each character and what we know about them so far

Radec

One of the least talked about of the characters revealed, as many didn't even know who he was. For those of you who don't know, he is a badass Helghast colonel and the final boss in Killzone 2 (possibly the greatest character in the series). He, as one might expect, relies very heavily on guns, and is said to bring SEVEN guns to fight with- a sniper, an assualt rifle, a flamethrower, a shotgun, an electric gun (see Killzone 3), and I'm not sure on the other two, though I believe he may have a rocket launcher. Thus, Radec is dominant at a distance, and the sniper in particular has been noted as especially deadly, with a large amount of kickback. His level 3 super involves him strapping into a jetpack and using a grenade launcher to rain down on the stage. Radec will be the first player I will use in the game, as I am a HUGE fan of the Killzone series.

Fat Princess

Probably the strangest inclusion thus far, and one of the most polarized characters. Some say that Fat Princess' close combat attacks are wildly effective, while others state that she's nearly unusable. Anyway, Fat Princess has a heavy reliance on her army of minions for her attacks, calling up warriors and mages for most of her mid-ranged attacks. Her supers seem to be some of the most interesting in the game. Her level one has her darting across the stage for a piece of cake, killing anyone in her path. Her level two sees her hopping onto a...giant chicken...yup. She proceeds to run around, killing anyone she touches while on it. Her level 3 is less interesting, and is almost identical to that of King Dedede is SSB.

Kratos

Kratos has been noted as the most balanced of the fighters shown, somewhat like a Mario character. He has a good mix of short, medium, and long range attacks that make him a good choice for beginners. It has also been stated that Kratos feels remarkably similar to how he does in the God of War games. SuperBot even incorporated many of the combos that are present in his games. Kratos' level 3 super turns him into a giant form of himself with a giant sword (not sure exactly what the sword is, but I know it's something significant to his series).

Sweet Tooth

Sweet Tooth appears to be a fan favorite already. He is similar to Kratos in size, speed and variety of moves, but he appears to be a much more interesting character. Sweet Tooth has a moveset that involves molatov cocktails, mines, chainsaws, and all sorts of other f***ed up shananigans that don't belong in a kid-friendly fighting game. Oh, and a shotgun, too. But the icing on the cake is his level 3 super. It's truly a masterpiece. It sees Sweet Tooth climbing into the mech-form of his ice cream truck and destroying everyone with a gatling gun. Hats off to you, SuperBot, this one is fantastic.

Sly Cooper

Sly Cooper is the most mechanically interesting character shown so far. This is due primarily to his inability to block. Instead of blocking, Sly possesses the unique ability to become invisible temporarily. While invisible, Sly can steal the AP of other players. Apart from that, Sly is said to be the fastest character, but also weaker than most others. He has several dash moves that add to his speedy, thievish nature, and of course he uses his cane for melee attacks. His level 3 super is him using a camera to snap photos of his opponents, killing them instantly.

Parappa

Honestly, this is the character I know least about. He uses a skateboard, microphone, and boombox in close combat. His main draw, however, is his ability to use his boombox to generate his own AP. This has me worried about how balanced he will be. Especially after you take into account Parappa's level 3 super, which consists of a short rap, followed by the death of everyone on screen. I see a potential flaw in balancing here.

Playstation AllStars Battle Royale Rumors

I'll be brief here, because I think I've dragged on long enough. a quote from voice actor Eric Laden, who plays Cole McGrath (InFamous), suggests that Cole, Nathan Drake, and Snake will all be in the game. IMBD also lists Kevin Butler of making an appearance in the game. Also, a Sony employee made a statement suggesting that a Vita version is in development as well. Stay tuned for more on these rumors.

Playstation AllStars Battle Royale Closing Comments

So far, Battle Royale is looking pretty good, and early impressions were widely positive. I am a little concerned about some potential balance issues, but I'm sure that they'll be taken care of. The gameplay looks great, and that's what really matters. Check back, as we will be posting more on PSASBR as new info is found.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars is a psn exclusive game. I would like to note that I will not be typing out that title ever again, and I will refer to it as SARPBC. SARPBC is one of the psn's hidden gems, so I'm writing a brief review persuading you to get it. First of all, for PS Plus users, the game is currently free and takes up around 300 MB of space, so there isn't much of a downside if you have a PS Plus membership.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars: Core Concept

The idea behind SARPBC plays like a soccer game, you have to hit the ball into the other team's goal to score. The twist? You're driving a car and the ball is twice your size. This unique spin combines sport and racing game for an experience that if very challenging, entertaining, and rewarding.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars: Graphics

Being a psn game, the graphics here are just so-so. Nothing special, but nothing that looks bad enough to make your eyes bleed. Not really much else to say here. Just plain, generic graphics that don't do much to help or hinder the game.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars: Gameplay

The gameplay is an absolute blast. It does require a fairly steep learning curve, but after a few rounds (and the tutorials) you will be barrel-rolling and boosting your way to the ball with ease. It is difficult at first, and controlling the car enough to actually help your team is definitely an acquired skill. However, this simply makes it all to more rewarding once you finally get the hang of it. Doing acrobatic flips is fun, and again, it feels great to barrel-roll away from an

opponent and then tap the ball in for a goal. The acrobats are fun, boosting has a great sense of speed, and smashing opponents to pieces is awesome (and the game actually keeps track of how many times you do this each game).

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars: Multiplayer

The game has online multiplayer, but local multiplayer is even better. SARPBC supports four-player split screen, and the competitive yet hilarious nature of this game makes it a great game to play with friends. Taunting will run rampant and your sides will split with laughter as your stupid friends block their own team's goal (I'm talking to you, Nick).

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars: Depth

The game isn't especially deep, but there are some options. Single player features a challenge mode where you have to complete different mini-games (win a game without crossing half court, win a game with a square ball, etc) as well as a tournament mode. Playing the challenge mode will unlock new vehicles to play as, but the difference is purely aesthetic as there's no change in vehicle stats. There are six arenas now that are different enough to keep things interesting for a while.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars: Final Comments

SARPBC is a fun party game at the cheap price of a downloadable title. It might not be the deepest game, but what it lacks in depth it makes up for with great gameplay and addictive offline multiplayer. I would urge everyone to get it (especially PS Plus users) or at least to try the demo.

Awesome. One of the most purely fun games I’ve ever played

Multiplayer

Not the deepest game ever, but six maps, a tournament mode, and a challenge mode should keep you interested for a while

8

Overall

This game is an absolute blast to play with friends. The gameplay and multiplayer make up for any other shortcomings the game has.

Anyone who played either of the first two Motorstorm games know that they have a very distinct feel and vibe. The gritty, physical gameplay, music, and presentation gave it such a distinct and noticeable feel. This is what makes Motorstorm apocalypse so hard to adjust to, as the static changes to the stores have given it a vastly different vibe.

Motorstorm Apocalypse: Core Concept

The whole idea behind Motorstorm Apocalypse is that a city (very clearly inspired by San Francisco) is being torn apart by earthquakes, tornadoes and the likes at the end of the world. When they hear about it, the Motorstorm crew head over to hold a festival there. This sets you up for racing as the city around you- the buildings, the cars, the subways, the boardwalks- all falls to pieces, with massive explosions and obstacles constantly in your face.

Motorstorm Apocalypse: Story

Motorstorm apocalypse its the first entry that makes an attempt at an actually story, and it didn't exactly pan out. you won't care about the characters out what's going on, and will just see them as an obstacle between you and your next race. The story us pointless, the characters are lifeless, the cutscenes are poorly done, and the voice acting is bad. It was a noble try atadding a story to a racing game, but it really was quite the failure. Luckily, I don't think anyone is looking to buy this game for its story.

Motorstorm Apocalypse: Graphics

Motorstorm does not have mind-blowing visuals. Let's get that out of the way right now. In fact, I would say that I found the visuals to be worse than those of Pacific Rift. With that said, there was obviously a trade-off made here- the graphics are not that impressive, but the sheer amount of activity on the screen is quite impressive. Buildings collapse, cars catch on fire, people and helicopters are shooting at you, all while little bits of debris and paper float down, and the game never even hiccups. Considering how much is happening on the screen, it is completely understandable and forgivable that the graphics are not on a level with games like Uncharted.

Motorstorm Apocalypse: Gameplay

Gameplay is easily the most important part of any game, and luckily it's one of Motorstorm's biggest strengths. However, there is a stipulation: IT DOES NOT FEEL LIKE MOTORSTORM. I was a huge fan of Pacific Rift, so when I finally got my hands on the demo for the third entry, I was not especially impress. Gone was the slippery, slidy feel that the cars had. Gone was the exhilarating feeling of going off a huge jump, gone was the feel that the slightest nudge could send you completely flying. No, this game tightens up the controls significantly. Driving feels much easier to control, and the cars feel more weighty. It doesn't feel as easy to flip, and there aren't nearly as many massive jumps to launch yourself off of. Some people may think this sounds great, but I always felt like those were some of the elements that made Motorstorm really unique. All of these changes were made for good reason, though. Apocalypse shifts the danger from the floatiness and your fellow drivers of games past to the city around you. There are crumbling buildings to dodge, people to avoid (or smash through), and all sorts of other perils that you will face as you drive. This provides plenty of interest, and though it may take some time to adjust, it really is an exhilarating game once you can get past how much it departs from the Motorstorm formula.

Motorstorm Apocalypse: Multiplayer

Multiplayer has been significantly beefed up here. There is four-player split-screen offline, two-player split-screen online, as well as just regular online. With over 40 tracks, there's plenty to keep you interested here. Online multiplayer has been rounded out very nicely. There is now a Call Of Duty- esque perks system ,which allows you to give your car slightly better handling, breaking, etc. There is also now a betting system where you can place a bet on one person that you believe you can beat. This makes the game competitive even for lower level players, which is quite ingenious. You can customize your vehicles now as well, and, more importantly, you can create custom game modes. With this game mode creator, you can control boost, handling, which vehicle classes can be used, gravity, and much more, and then use these customized settings in either offline or online play. All in all, the multiplayer is much deeper this time around.

Motorstorm Apocalypse: Final Comments

Motorstorm Apocalypse is a very entertaining and very good game. Its problem is that it changes so much from what we know and love about the series. Even still, on its own merits, Motorstorm Apocalypse is a great game. Motorstorm Apocalypse is a fantastic racing game, just not necessarily a fantastic Motorstorm game.

Title Fight: The Possible/Desired Characters

Alright, now I'm going to delve into the characters that I want to see in the game. If you don't want to hear about my speculations, then skip right past this and onto the confirmed stages. Since the game is supposed to have 20 characters, I will propose 12, as 8 have already been confirmed.

Cole (inFamous)

This one's kind of a no-brainer. Cole is a very iconic, popular, and current PS3 mascot with a huge catalog of moves to choose from for his moveset. Cole would use his electric super powers to battle opponents, and I think that you should be able to choose between good Cole and evil Cole, and the two should have some slight differences.

Sackboy (Little Big Planet)

Come on, seeing Sackboy beat the sh*t out of Kratos would be freakin' awesome and you know it! I have heard some people say that he should use his popit as an attack, but I think that that's the wrong way to go. Between the paintinator, creatinator, grappling hook, grabinator, and jetpack, Sackboy has a huge arsenal of moves that would work way better than the popit. I envision a paintinator range attack as a regular special, grabinator for grabbing enemies as a side-special, jetpack as a recovery, and I personally think that a self-destruct that deals a lot of damage would be a really unique down-special move. As far as up-close attacks, Sackboy's slaps seem like they would do very nicely.

Ratchet and Clank (Ratchet and Clank)

Ratchet is one of the few Sony mascots to span two generations of consoles. Thus, his induction to Title Fight seems inevitable. Like Jak and Daxter, I assume Ratchet and Clank would fight as a pair. Ratchet would use his omniwrench as a melee attack, and a few of his zany guns for his distance moves.

Crash Bandicoot (Crash Bandicoot)

I know Sony does not technically own Crash, but COME ON, CRASH STARTED PLAYSTATION. Crash Bandicoot was the killer app for the PSone, and even if his name has faded since then, he is still a necessary inclusion in my mind. And who remembers collecting three masks to become invincible? I sense a perfect level 3 Super.

Spyro (Spyro the Dragon)

Another character in a similar situation to Crash, Spyro's name has definitely dwindled in recent years. But again, Spyro

Solid Snake (Solid Snake)

Solid Snake was extremely important to Sony early on, and so he has my full support and I believe he deserves a bid in Title Fight.

Another character not technically owned by Sony, but if he can be in Brawl then obviously he can be in Title Fight since Playstation is what made him relevant in the first place. If he is included, I assume that his moveset would be very similar to the way it was in Brawl.

Chimera Hybrid (Resistance)

Oh Insomniac, why are you leaving us? Well, at the very least, they gave us two AMAZING franchises in Ratchet and Clank and Resistance. I believe that both should be honored with an entry in Title Fight, but, like Killzone, Resistance is better known for its villains than its heroes. Seriously, how many casual gamers know who Nathan Hale is? Not many, but the chimera are much better known, making them a much better addition to the Title Fight roster.

Wander (Shadow of Colossus)

Anyone who can take down the monstrous beasts that Wander did and do it in a game that is as celebrated as Shadow of Colossus can obviously hold there own in a game like Title Fight. His moves would be based around his sword and bow, and I can imagine a truly epic level 3 super where he call in a colossus.

Lemming (Lemmings)

I know, I know, a Lemming seems waayy to weak to be in this game, but hey, so did cpt. Olimar in Brawl. I also realize that Lemmings didn't start on Playstation, but Sony has obtained the rights to this character, and if you take the time to think about it, this character makes a ton of sense as far as a moveset. Lemming could use a pickaxe, an umbrella for recovery, dynamite, and, like Sackboy, could use a self-destruct move.

Nariko (Heavenly Sword)

Nariko is already expected to be in the game, and rightfully so. Her agility and sword moves make her a perfect fit for Title Fight. Also, Title Fight's roster is very scarce on women, as Fat Princess is currently the only female in the game, and an actually capable woman is kind of a necessity.

Gabriel Logan (Syphon Filter)

Seeing as how Title Fight is a clone of Super Smash, it is only fitting that Gabe Logan is in the game, seeing as how Syphon Filter was Sony's spy game to compete with Golden Eye . Since then, Gabe has had 6 games across PSone, PS2, and PSP, with a PS3 game rumored. His spy moves would be a great edition to the game, especially if Bond doesn't make the cut.

Monkey (Ape Escape)

Ape Escape is a game that NEEDS a rep in Title Fight. Ape Escape has been on every Sony platform so far, and not including a character from this series would be heresy. That said, I am not sure who should be the representative- the monkeys are obviously better known that Spike, but Spike would have a more diverse moveset. Still, I think the monkey would be the better choice here, and have his moveset revolve around quick melee attacks and just being a quick character overall. So there is my preferred way to fill out the rest of the Title Fight roster. If I missed anyone that you reall want to see, say so in the comments below.

Standing OutSo far, Title Fight seems extremely similar to Super Smash Bros. Therefore, it needs something to set it apart from being an exact copy. These are some ways that Sony could do that.

Killstreaks

Killstreak rewards began with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and have grown has grown hugely through that series. Now, it could be translated into Title Fight. Perhaps these killstreaks could be used to get free items as opposed to having to pick them up, but the best way I can think to implement them is for the Supers. This would definitely add a fresh take on both the Final Smash idea and the killstreak idea, and create something fresh and different. This would virtually eliminate the tactic of sitting in a corner and waiting for opponents to kill each other in a stock match, as you would get obliterated by their Supers. Also, this system might work even better in this situation than in Call of Duty because getting kills is more random and unskilled players have a better chance of earning these killstreaks.

New Multiplayer Game Modes

Brawl was very limited in terms of game modes. There was time, stock, coin, and style and each could be played in teams or free for all. Title Fight should look to expand that slim selection of game modes. I would like to see possibly capture the flag, a mode where you have to capture and hold key choke points on the map, and whatever else SuperBot can do to make the multiplayer more robust.

Online

This one is sort of a given, but Brawl seriously lacked a competent online mode. It was there, but it was barebones and very limited. Title Fight should greatly improve upon that, featuring clans, tournaments, stat-integration, etc.

Conquest

This is an idea for a very deep mode inspired by NBA 07 and MAG. A very odd combination, I know, but hear me out. NBA 07 featured a game mode called Conquest (which is where I borrowed from the name of this article), and it had a map of the United States with every team placed in their respective city. You would then challenge teams and play for their court. The winning team would take/keep the court being fought for. MAG had an idea where online battles lasted more than one battle, and it wads over the course of several battles that one team became the victor. In a similar sense, all of the maps in Title Fight could be laid out in a map- organized perhaps by similar series being placed together or by generations (PSone v. PS2 v. PS3) lining up close together. Your clan would challenge another clan and the map would be divided up so that each clan was given half the maps, and your clan can only play as the characters from the maps you have. Factions take turns and can challenge each other in attempts to take control of the map, and as you win new territories you earn the rights to the characters from those locations. Any stages that do not have a character in the game could either have no character implications or represent charaters who do not have their own stage. As long as one person of the opposing faction is online, you could challenge them to a fight, or schedule fights for later dates. If the other team does not show, they lose the stage. Perhaps this idea is too far-fetched to turn into a game mode, but it would be very interesting and certainly a fresh idea if SuperBot could pull it off.

Campaign

Sure, Brawl had a campaign, but it wasn't as great as it could have been. Title Fight should aim at making a campaign that brings all the characters together in a way that doesn't, well, suck. I can't really think of how to do that, but that should be their goal.

Custom Stages

Again, this was a feature in Brawl, but it was sooo limited that a 2 year old was bored by it. I want a stage creator in the vein of Little Big Planet. Perhaps it could use some of LBP's creation controls and just water them down a bit. This would definitely provide some massive replay value, but I feel like my next idea will effectively kill the idea of a stage creator

DLC

This one seems rather obvious to me. With only 20 characters said to be in the game when it ships, there are still tons of characters out there to but into DLC packs. Personally, if there was to be a "PSone Classics" pack with Crash, Neo Cortex, Spyro, and Lara Croft, along with 2-3 stages, I would throw down $15 for that every time. Thus, a stage creator may kill the appeal of buying DLC stages, and if DLC is the route they choose, they may opt out of including a stage creator.

Updates (To Balancing)

To me, this is KEY. This is the one that needs to be present. The Smash Bros games are notoriously unbalanced- In Brawl, Meta Knight has been banned for being too good! And on top of that, there are only about 10 characters that can even be used in competitive play because the others are at such a disadvantage. Balancing has always been an issue for Super Smash Bros, and I assume it will be for Title Fight as well. What SuperBot needs to do is pay attention to the strategies being use and how it plays out and then ADDRESS THE ISSUES. They can't sit back and say, "Radec is unfairly good? Oh well! Sly Cooper can't hold his own? Too bad!" No. They need to see these problems and boost/nerf characters accordingly to give each character a fighting chance in the game.

Closing Comments

Since the game hasn't even been announced yet, there is plenty to speculate here. Potential characters are always going to be talked about in game like this, but I believe that the list above does a good job summarizing the key points of the Playstation name as well as provide a lineup of very diverse and interesting characters. As far as things to set it apart from Brawl, online, DLC/updates and a campaign seem pretty obvious, but it's the more creative ideas that could really make this game more than a clone. Killstreaks and Conquest are the most unique of these ideas proposed, but they would also be the hardest to implement. Custom stages and new game modes like capture and hold and capture the flag both have a decent chance of making it into the game, and both would help the game stand its own in comparison talks. Only time will tell which of these characters and ideas will make it into Title Fight.

What ideas do you have for Title Fight? Comment below!

Now, the game is seemingly all but confirmed- it has a developer, 8 confirmed characters, 3 confirmed stages, a supposed 2012 release, and Paul Gale (who broke the story) is promising new screenshots/ video by the end of the month. This artcile will break down the info and tell you all that you need to know about this rumored PS3 exclusive.

Title Fight: The Game

Not much is known about the gameplay, except that it will be extremely similar to Super Smash Bros- You can have up to four players at a time. As far as controls go, X is the jump button (characters can double jump), while square circle and triangle are all attack buttons, and R2 is used to pull off "supers." I'm still a little fuzzy on exactly how you earn power to use them, but it was mentioned that these supers will have three levels, each getting cooler and more powerful, with the third level resembling the power of a Final Smash move from Brawl.

Title Fight: The Developer

Title Fight is rumored to be in development at SuperBot Entertainment. SuperBot is a first-time Sony owned developer, and is known to be working on a very important PS3 exclusives, and it is widely accepted that this exclusive is Title Fight. The studio recently put out job ads looking for people with experience in both fighting games and online gaming.

Title Fight: The Confirmed Characters

Kratos (God of War)

Kratos was one of the first characters confirmed for Title Fight, and is said to be a heavy character that relies primarily on his chains but also has a chargeable spear move. His recovery is his wings, and in his level 3 Super he turns into his giant, armored form and uses a large sword that is a one hit kill.

Colonel Mael Radec (Killzone 2)

Originally rumored to be Rico, the Killzone 2 entry was switched to Colonel Radec, I'm guessing because he has much more personality and because the series is best known for the red-eyed Helghasts. Not much has bee revealed about Radec's fighting style, other than that he is a heavy character who uses mainly guns in combat. Personally, I'm hoping we see a teleporting move such as used in the Killzone 2 boss fight.

Nathan Drake (Uncharted)

A fairly obvious inclusion, Title Fight will feature Nathan Drake. A light character, Drake is supposedly very versatile, having his up-close melee attacks as well as a pistol, gernade, and rifle for ranged attacks. His recovery is said to be a zipline, and his level 3 Super turns the other fighters into "defenseless monsters," whatever that means.

Parappa the Rapper (Parappa the Rapper)

Aww yeah, some PSone throwback nostalgia here. Parappa is another confirmed character and is a light, fast moving character. His original voice actor is rumored to be working again here, and Parappa is said to be the most talkative of all the confirmed characters. As far as attacks, Parappa is said to have a skateboard attack and a boombox attack as well as kicking opponents.

Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal)

Another very iconic character, Sweet Tooth is becoming very relevant again, between Title Fight and the new Twisted

Metal Game coming out in February. Sweet Tooth is a heavy character and not much else is known, but his level 3 Super has him turning into his ice cream truck mech, complete with a gatling gun. Sweet Tooth is also the only character of which we have a screen shot. It is a very early model, but it some of the little evidence that we have of this game's reality.

Sly Cooper (Sly Cooper)

Another character returning from Playstation limbo, Sly Cooper has recently seen the release of an HD collection and a fourth game is also being developed for 2012 release, and now this. Sly is a light character who will rely mostly on his cane for attacks . As for his level 3 super, Sly jumps off screen and an aiming reticle appears, as Bentley appears and tells Sly how to take out enemies. This seems to be very reminiscent of Snake's Final Smash from Brawl.

Fat Princess (Fat Princess)

Yup, you read that right. I have no idea how they will make a full character out of Fat Princess, and neither does Paul Gale (again, he's the one who broke the story), as he revealed virtually no details about the character, other than that she's a heavy fighter (go figure) and that her level 3 super involves her calling in her elves to help her out.

Jak and Daxter (Jak and Daxter)

An iconic PS2 pair from the makers of Uncharted, Jak and Daxter have earned a spot in Title Fight. I believe they fight as a pair but literally no details have been revealed about them. Overall this list is very robust so far. The game is expected to feature 20 (possibly more) fighters upon release with the possibility of more in the future in the form of DLC. There are 3 other characters currently being developed, one of which is a female (widely expected to be Nariko of Heavenly Sword). Also, There have been talks of James Bond joining the fight, as Sony is currently helping distribute the newest Bond movie, Skyfall.

Title Fight: The Stages

Only 3 stages have been confirmed so far, but they sound pretty good. The stages mix elements from different games, and the result sound very unique. The stages are also said to have stage-exclusive items

Sandover Village (Jak and Daxter)

Sandover Village is a fairly iconic location, and is a pretty good way to represent Jak and Daxter in my mind. This level has a giant shark that will eat you if you are in the water too long. The stage is also said to feature H0t Shots golfers in the background. The stage exclusive item here is a flag, and if you pick it up, the golfers will begin hitting flaming golfballs at your opponents.

Little Big Planet Stage (Little Big Planet)

No official name for this one yet, but it sound like a good stage. It features classic music from LBP, which is great news as LBP's soundtrack is fantastic. This level also features an exclusive item- the Buzz! remote. Upon picking up this item, Buzz appears on screen and asks a trivia question. At this time, four platforms appear, each with a different answer. You jump onto the platform with the answer you think is right, and everyone who is wrong gets KO'd.

Bridge of Asylia (Lair)

The latest stage to be confirmed, Bridge of Asylia. The level is going to feature music from Lair, and is the only confirmed stage to not feature another game. The exclusive item (This item is still an idea at this point) here is a sixaxis controller. When picked up, this item a Blood Dragon (I don't know what that is, I never played Lair, but it sounds cool) and you must tilt your actual controller back and forth to shoot down fiery blasts on your opponents.

Title Fight: The Closing Comments

So that's all the info we have on Title Fight right now, but I will continue to provide updates on this because I am STOKED for this. Paul Gale has stated that he will be providing images and/or video of the game by the end of December, so look back here or to paulgalenetwork.com for more on this game. We'd love to here your take on this so sound off in the comments below.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Review
Uncharted 3's release date was in November 2011. The first was a launch title beside the PS3 and was THE definitive exclusive for early PS3 owners, and it received glowing reviews from both critics and gamers. Uncharted 2 followed in 2009, and earned even higher marks. Now, the third game has been released, and I am happy to report that it surpasses the excellence of the previous games in just about every way.

Uncharted 3: The Graphics

As with any Uncharted game, the graphics here are unbelievable. Everything looks gorgeous, and it is truly awe-inspiring to see some of the larger vistas that the game has to offer. It runs smoothly and I can not recall a single moment where the visuals were sub par. Also, this game has new subtle interactions with the environment. Drake will run his hand over a table as he passes by or pick up a bottle from the bar and smash it against an enemy during a fight. These little editions to the game don't really add that much to the game, but it definitely makes it feel more real and shows the hard work that was put into this game. Overall, this game has some of the best graphics you will see this generation.

The gameplay found here is extremely similar to the previous titles. There have been no major overhauls, but rather small refinements that make already good controls even better. That said, the one area where there is significant change is the hand to hand combat system. In Uncharted 2, the melee felt clunky and just off, but Uncharted 3 fixes that problem entirely. The combat here is much more fluid and allows for more complex hand to hand fighting, as opposed to the mashing of the melee button in earlier games. Other than that, the gameplay remains largely unchanged. Climbing, shooting, and puzzles still make up the most of the game. That said, there is definitely less of an emphasis on puzzles in this game, which was slightly disappointing, but the ones that were there were enjoyable. This leads me to my only complaint with the gameplay- shooting. It's not that the mechanics are broken, but simply that it isn't as enjoyable as the rest of the game. Facing large groups of enemies in firefights grows tedious rather quickly, and developer Naughty Dog definitely could have done more to improve this area. However, overall the gameplay is still great, as climbing, melee, puzzles and small quantities of shooting are great.

Uncharted 3: The Campaign/Story

As with any game in this series, the campaign is incredible. The presentation and action scenes are on par with action movies, and some of the larger set pieces will blow you away. As far as the story here, it is also fantastic. It focuses on the relationship between Sully and Drake, and the voice actors, Richard McGonagle (Sully) and Nolan North (Drake) are both outstanding and really make you care about the Uncharted 3 characters. The campaign lasted me about 8 hours (excluding cutscenes), but there are treasures to find and the story is engaging enough to make you want to play it again and again. There isn't much else to say about the campaign, other than that you won't be disappointed as it totally lives up to and exceeds it's predecessors.

Uncharted 3: The Multiplayer

The changes to multiplayer are probably the most significant additions to the game. I was never a fan of Uncharted 2's multiplayer, but Naughty Dog has really improved it vastly here. First off, you can actually make a custom class this time around, as opposed to starting with an AK47 every time. There are more boosters to choose from, more guns, and a new inclusion to loadouts- medal kickbacks. The way these work are you earn medals through the game by achieving certain feats. Once you get a certain amount, you can spend them to activate your medal kickback. It is a really cool system that adds another layer to picking your loadout. Also, Uncharted 3 features new game modes, 3 team deathmatch, which pits 3 teams of 2 against each other, as well as an arena- style survival co-op mode, and they're both extremely fun. But my personal favorite edition is Power Plays. Power Plays are meant to help keep the games competitive if one team starts to fall way behind, and they help both sides. The losing team gets better opportunity to make the score closer, while the winning team gets extra cash/ XP for every kill during these Power Plays. It is a really ingenious system that keeps the game close and funnels the action without making it too unbalanced. All in all, the substantial additions to multiplayer make it an addicting and exciting experience that will be played for months to come.

Uncharted 3: The Conclusion

Uncharted 3 may not win game of the year due to how similar it is to Uncharted 2, but believe me- you will not play a higher quality game this year or maybe even this generation. From the gorgeous graphics to the engaging gameplay and great Uncharted 3 characters to the cinematic campaign and addictive multiplayer, this is a top notch game that exudes excellence and polish from start to finish. I could barely think of anything negative to say about this game, and it is a must own for any PS3 owner.

The biggest improvement over Uncharted 2. The additions really make this a much deeper and more fleshed out experience, but it’s still behind online juggernauts like Call of Duty.
