The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers

PSME is an organization of Mechanical Engineers in the Philippines founded in 1952 for the purpose on uniting and enjoining the mechanical engineers in the pursuit of further professional growth and to uplift the profession.

Mechanical Engineering

A discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines.

The Mission

The organization has worked out to a common goal; with this is their mission that they stand with. The organization is committed in fulfilling their missions which are:

To maintain the integrity of the profession.
To promote excellence in the practice of the profession.
To uplift the profession.
To contribute to the enhancement of science and technology and economic growth of the country.
To promote fellowship and cooperation among mechanical engineers, and instill nationalism among members

Understand the construction and function of components in electro-pneumatic control systems.
Identify and use control schematics.
Design, construct and troubleshoot electro-pneumatic circuits.

Basic Electrical Theories
Basic Electrical Components and Sensors
Electro-Pneumatic Components
Electro-Pneumatic Circuit Design
Relay Control System Design

During the seminar, participants will be acquainted the basic theory and design of each technology. Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to the participants.

We only request from your company a venue to be used for the seminar. Also provided if possible, meals for the lecturer.

We would like to share with you a concrete opportunity to get your constituents involved in a nation-building through a campaign that aims to mobilized ordinary Filipinos to address a social problem.

We would like to invite you to join TEN (The Entire Nation) Moves! a private sector initiative to help address the classroom shortage in primary and secondary public schools all over the Philippines.

TEN Moves! <www.tenmoves.org> was launched to the public in October 2011, TEN Moves! gives everyone a concrete opportunity to respond to the education crisis in a manner that makes giving easy, convenient and secure.

Our goal: To raise resources to build 10,000 classrooms in public schools with the greatest and most urgent need.

Because of the huge target and the massive mobilization that this will entail, this campaign requires mobilizing large number of individual, organizations, institutions and other groups. We believe that partnering with your organization under your will help the campaign tremendously.
