He argued other members on the council played Farmville as well, so much so he had to play during meetings to match them. In the UK, a 12 year-old boy racked up £905 in FarmVille debt. During the period between Jun 19th and July 9th, an average of 63.3 million users played Farmville, making Farmville the most played online game in the world. What makes Farmville so addictive? Tarballs from Oil Spill found in Galveston, TX

It is now official, the oil spill has now impacted every gulf coast state. Tarballs found on Sunday in Galveston, TX were confirmed to be from the Gulf oil spill, according to the US Coast Guard. Around 5 gallons of tarballs were found on Crystal Beach covering around 1.5 miles of beach. Tarballs found on Saturday ranged from the size of a dime to a golf ball.

I love these so called 'studies' experts use to try to confuse and mislead users. Dr. Jakob Nielsen of the Nielsen Norman Group (not affiliated with Nielsen, the metrics company), conducted a 'study' claiming reading a book is faster than reading the same material from an iPad. The study compared reading times between the iPad and a paper back book.

While using the Internet it is easy to encounter examples of hateful people. These days almost any Internet Forum or website comment's section is filled with people designed to piss you off. It is as if these people had nothing else to do but to make your day miserable. The sad truth is, they do not. Many people these days feel it is their right to say the most vile, hateful and evil things possible to anyone with no consequences. While freedom of speech is a good thing, it does not mean you can tell someone to die, or how you wish you could kill them or their families, or to go burn in a fire. These days the above statements are all to common.
