ThreeA TomorrowKings Cornelius (Part 1)

2014-05-10T08:36:00.001-07:00

ThreeA TK Cornelius is a very awesome figure. I love the packaging as the box design is very stylist like a branded shoe box, Haa :) The pants of Cornelius give him a very mordern and sporting looking. The orange with white strips makes it look like a sport but with the turtle-neck sweat shirt, makes it's somehow even him more attitude.

I photoshop this picture so we are able to see the whole illustration on the box design :)

The neck joint was very tight when I got it and it broke when I was twisting it's head.. So in order to continue shooting, I have temporary take a body from another TK. The skin tone is more yellowish than the original body. I've contacted ThreeA's customer service fand hope they are able help me.

The head sclupt of Cornelius is fantastic. He seems to be smiling :)

I think Cornelius is going for a run! Love the bright orange and white combination.

2013-06-21T08:54:00.005-07:00

Firstly, I haven't watch the movie, but from this book, I know alot of effort and time has been put in to make this movie. Today I will not talk about the movie, instead about this fantastic 144 pages companion book published by Insight Editions, that brought you "Pacific Rim: Man, Machines, and Monsters" (that I posted here) and "The Dark Knight Manual". Again, it comes with alot of goodies like stickers, booklet, prints and tons of concept articles, on the set pictures, etc! I like the book, it's worth to keep :)

Blade of Immortal (Manji)

2013-06-01T15:56:00.000-07:00

Blade of Immortal is a Japanese Manga byHiroaki Samura. I was amazed by the artwork when I first got the first 4 volumes (which was the original japanese manga) in 1995. It was actually first published in a manga magazine, called Afternoon, in 1993. As local censorship was very strict then, local published version was badly censored due to certain voilence scenes.

ThreeA Halo Reach Spartan Mark V Commando (Part 2)

2013-04-28T07:42:00.000-07:00

ThreeA Halo Reach Spartan Mark V Commando looks spectacular with the LED lights on. While I was taking the photos half way through, I realise that I accidentally attached the right shoulder armour upside down. I managed to correct it and took some with the amended position.

ThreeA Halo Reach Spartan Mark V Commando (Part 1)

2013-04-24T10:33:00.001-07:00

Here are more photos of ThreeA Halo Reach Spartan Mark V Commando. Enjoy :)

It's packed in a air-bubble plastic with 2 instruction manuals.

It comes with 2 shoulder armours (one on each side of the shoulder), 2 grenades (on both side of the hip), 2 parts for the chest, a pouch behind the back, a sabre and a gun. The parts are magnet onto the figure, I suggest you pose it first before you snap them on.

One of the battery compartment is right behind the back and the other 2 compartment is behind the hand on both side. I will post pictures of it with the Led lights on in my next blog.

Soldier Story PLA

2013-04-17T09:51:00.002-07:00

The Soldier Story PLA's shirt and pant have different camouflage patterns inside out. The one below is just one of it.
I find it unique as there is not alot of 1/6 in the market that covers the asian military figures.

ThreeA Halo Reach Spartan Mark V Commando

2013-04-17T09:17:00.000-07:00

Here's a picture of ThreeA Halo Reach Spartan Mark V Commando. Hope to get some batteries to light it up and will post more photos then. The actual product looks more awsome than the photos. The down side of it is it can't really do alot of poses but the overall look is fabulous. Hope to talk more about it in the later post.

Square Enix Tomb Raider (Lara Croft) Play Arts Kai Figure

2013-03-28T12:29:00.000-07:00

I haven't been playing videogames for a very long time! It's been years! Recently I upgraded my PC and wanted to try playing some games when the new Tomb Raider's game happened to release. Read the review in various forum where it was refer as the female version of the PS3 game, Enchanted, that I never play before. So I as a "fresh gamer", I find Tomb Raider quite addictive... I still have not complete the game till now (almost 3 weeks). Actually I'm not that hardcore in videogaming. Enough about gaming, here are some pictures of the Tomb Raider figurine by Square Enix. Hope someone will release a 1/6 version. :) Enjoy.

This fully posable Lara Croft is about 8" tall with over 40 points of articulation. It comes with alternate set of three (3) hands, the climbing axe, shotgun, handgun, and bow and arrow.
