I am still here. Seems like I just posted a where have I been post. I have been at the ball fields. But softball/baseball is officially done now and I have been scrapping!!! Still working on my Disney Pictures... of course I took enough pictures to last me quite a while ;) I have been doing alot of 2 page layouts recently! I made this one using the latest Scrapbook Heaven Petite Kit.

I really love that Shannon offers 2 kits. Being on the Design Team we get one of the kits to play with each month. I always buy the other kit! There is always such a great mix of trims and embellishments and papers. and a hint there is really nothing Petite about the Petite kit! I have done two 2 page layouts, a 1 pg layout and a card and still have lots of paper left to create with.

Still here! been a whirlwind we finished the musical and headed to Florida to DISNEY!!!!!! to be followed by 8th grade graduation and end of school activities and SOFTBALL!!!!!!!!!!! Hoping things are settling down a little now. As for graduation Sarah was awarded the BAND and Chorus award! she was thrilled she had set her sites on this award in 6th grade and has wanted it ever since. I was happy all her hard work paid off!!

When I saw the strip of green cardstock in fringe and scallops I immediately thought of Easter Grass. So I hand cut some Easter Eggs and hid them in the grass! Hope you are having a great day!

WOW its April already!!!!!! We have been busy! Which honestly busy is the norm for us so know that when I say busy I mean busier than normal :D We have now completed our first softball tournament of the season and while the girls didn't win, once they got going they played like a team so yeah! Baseball season officially starts for Alex next week! And the musical is next week!!!

On the scrappy side of my world...I am officially part of the Scrapbook Heaven Design Team effective April1....No FOOLING! If you haven't tried their kits you to seriously consider them. I have been a subscriber to the Elite Kit since December and have loved each and every kit! I am keeping my subscription active for those months I don't design with the Elite kit. :D That's right there are 2! kits for you to choose from every month!!!!!!!

One of my Challenges this month at Sisterhood of Scrap was the celebrate Music in our Schools Month by incorporating Music into your project. For this project I used a music background stamp on white paper and then used my Tim Holtz inks to age the paper. The Ribbon was originally white and so I inked that to match. I really love how it turned out :D

I got these stamps when purchasing an issue of PaperCraft Inspirations magazine. honestly I bought the magazine for the Stamps!!! The Papers are from the Scrapbook Heaven February kit. I just love the colors! and the stamps. and honestly I loved the magazine too! Hope you have a sunny day!

As I just celebrated my birthday ( I am not mentioning which one *wink* ) I thought posting a cute picture of my mom and dad was suiting. I created this layout using the January Kit from Scrapbook Heaven and for one of my monthly challenges at Sisterhood of Scrap. The challenge is to use at least 5 different tools on a project. I used chalks (remember those???), Prima masks from the kit, stamps, 2 different border punches, my Dyno label maker and sandpaper :D

As for the good news....... I was asked to join the team at Scrapbook Heaven!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! love love love their kits! and the site is filled with awesome ladies!

Pinks and greys..... not sure how I feel about those colors but I guess they are ok. So what projects are you working on??

I created this layout for my Monday Challenge at SOS! My challenge was to use at least 3 different fonts in your title! I used 5! These are pictures from last year's season. She has switched teams this year and is having a blast! Can't wait til that first tournament!!!! Papers are from the February SH Kit.

I created this layout for my Sketch Challenge at Sisterhood of Scrap. I have been really trying to put more than one picture on a layout. I mean sometimes the picture needs to stand alone, but sometimes more than one picture tells a more complete story. Plus I have tons of pictures and if I use only 1 on each layout can you imagine the stack of layouts i would have????

Here is the sketch I posted for SOS. Speaking of which why don't you come join us this month. We have I think over 30 challenges posted for our month long crop event Your Crop, Your Way. Great way to get some scrapping done.

It has been a few days since I posted. Since then we have had a huge major snowstorm that actually closed down everything for a few days! Official reports I was hearing was about 20.5 inches of snow with terrible drifting. But we are dug out of that and back to normal so to speak. I have been scrapping a little, but not as much as I would like. But then again I would like to scrap every day. ;)

I created this layout using the January kit from Scrapbook Heaven. I have discovered it is difficult to take good pictures of Meagan performing for the dance/kick squad. Lots of blurry pics! We have managed to get a few good ones. Hope you have a great day!

ok so for our Scrapbook Heaven crop we choose to pick a "holiday" in January to inspire our challenge. I choose Chocolate Covered Cherry Day, which is January 3rd by the way. I challenged everyone to use colors from the yummy treat-browns, pinky reds, & creamy whites. This was my example!

I created this layout for 2 different challenges... One at Sisterhood of Scrap which was to use all new items (in your stash for less than 3 months) and one for at Scrapbook Heaven to use "trash" on your layout! The trash here is the packaging from Pink Paislee stamps. can you spot it? I used it for the journaling strips...it is this really subtle graph paper pattern. The papers and lettering and snowflake are all from Scrapbook Heaven's December kit.

This layout attempts to show Sarah at her Christmas Concert. She performed in 2 school Choirs and one of the bands. She loves everything music!

i loved these pictures when I saw them. I don't have a lot of pictures of my kids with their grandparents seems like we are always taking pictures of the kids and forget to include jim and me and the grandparents. I think we need to change that!!! I did this layout for a challenge at Sisterhood of Scrap! The challenge was to use sometimes soft/fluffy. I choose to hand cut some felt flowers! My challenge for you... take pictures of your kids with your loved ones!

Can you believe I used the Christmas kit from Scrapbook Heaven to create this layout? I love when a kit has more than one use! I used mini alphas to do my journaling. I really need to get into doing more journaling! But this little bit did the trick ....who what when.... how about you how much journaling do you include... a little? a lot? does it depend on the layout?
