I went traveling for 6 months, during that time the search/file server for Psydb died. It turned out later that the CPU-fan give up. No one was able to fix it at that time, but now finally it's back online.

As for lack of updates, my time and energy is now turned towards different areas and tasks, but don't worry: I been in contact with a person that will be taking over and continuing this project.

Transmitting from the northern hemisphere, Devils Mind Records proudly presents Kiriyama's debut album "Reach Escape Velocity", a blend of trance styles infused with the twilight sound of Scandinavia and mysticism of Goa.

Permeated with the surrounding atmosphere of Örebro, the journey draws on inspiration from various sources that together form a platform from which these aural transmissions are spread about. Departing in the small hours, the style thematically progresses throughout the album, layer by layer, slowly fading through the abstract night and opening up to the melodic twilight zone. It is subtly mixed to make it as suitable for home listening as it is for dancefloor experiences, though it was primarily contrived to be surfed through in one go.

This 79-minute journey is graphically enriched with enchanted scenes from the Swedish High Coast Trail, which is listed on UNESCO's list of natural world heritages as there is no other place on earth where the land has risen as much as there since the freezing days of the last ice age. A mere 15% of the world is within the boreal temperature zone – that is, parts of northern Europe, Canada, Alaska and Russia – and naturally this yields to peculiarities found nowhere else but here.

I'm back from a paradise. It was 11 years ago I was in Ozora last time. This was my reunion with this beautiful place. Ozora 2010 was amazing, best festival experience I ever had. Crystal clear sound, great music, perfect organization, wonderful people, one big family. One, one, one...

Green Nuns of the Revolution, Ace Ventura, Raja Ram & Chicago, Shpongle, CBL, Prometheus, Gorgo, .. these left really strong impressions on me.

I loved what Raja Ram said on stage about the festival: 'And I got to say, seriously, after 40 years of going around parties, this is the best party I have been to in my life!'

At the entrance gate you are met with a bold statement: "Welcome to a paradise", but they have now problem living up to it :)

A deep dive into Scandinavian psytrance! Battle of the Future Buddhas and Ka-Sol have teamed up for their third album, Masters of Outhouse!

First appearing in 1997, the legendary Buddhas broke into new territory with their distinct and hypnotic sound which was to become known as the Uppsala sound. Their debut album, Twin Sharkfins, surfaced on the market in 1998 and was followed by Demonoizer four years later, landing the group a position on the frontline of psytrance while establishing the label Schlabbaduerst Rekkords, whose limited output is treasured today by record collectors.

Quickly becoming renowned for his stylistic versatility, Ka-Sol had his first release in 1998. Over the years he has managed to put out two full-length albums, Fairytale and Ghost Story in 2006 and 2008 respectively, and more than twenty mossy tracks rich in woodland air have come out on various compilations.

Sun Station is back from the summer holidays with really good news! We are happy to present you the new EP of one of the most prominent projects of Moscow's underground trance scene: Dissociactive, which was founded in 2001 by Slavik Iskanyan. Since 2003 the name Dissociactive started to appear in tracklists on compilations of various international labels like Doof, Crystal Matrix, Bom Shanka etc. regularly. In 2005 he released the album „Block Out" on the famous Greek label Acidance and received lots of positive feedback from all over the world. The highlight on this EP is definitely the deep epic midnight tune "Eclipse" with its blasting psychedelic energy and breathtaking pads. This great track was also remixed by Dissociactive's former member Eugene Martinov as Sorrowmurk, who has filled it with floating melodies and gave it an extra mystical flavor. The next track is "Hyper Gravitation" which fuses modern psychedelic sounds with the proper "old school" vibe. The EP ends with "Extrasensorica" a tight psychedelic stomper with hypnotic speech to protect people of drinking vodka. It has all the potential to become a hit, especially among the Russian speaking audience. "Underwater Lab EP" is a first taste of Dissociactive's second album „Total Transformation", which will be released very soon on Sun Station Records. Solid Snake is a brand new project of Omar Chelly from Malmoe.

Being a DJ for 16 years now, Sebastian Krueger has started playing out in the early age of 16, with EBM, Grunge and Punk music. After discovering techno-music and falling in love with the progressive house vibe, soon he became resident-dj in one of the most famous trance-clubs called 'Grube' in germany and started to produce his own music under the monikers 'Digital Sun' and 'Tarsis' for Polytox and Spirit Zone Records.

'Tarsis' was the very first project that combined the prog-housy influences with the common trance of the nineties and set a cuepoint for a completly new style in the european trancescene... After 2 two very successful albums, many gigs all over Europe, and honors such as writing the soundtrack for germanies most famous TV-criminal movie series 'Tatort', Sebastian seperated from his ex-production partner and started his soloproject 'SBK'. From that point he got his fully international breakthrough with live- and dj-gigs all over the globe. The first SBK album 'Treibstoff' was one of the best sold trancealbums of the year, and it's smash hit 'Morgenlatte' rocked every dancefloor of the world and is still one of the most covered Trance-Tracks ever.

Together with his friend Greg Coyle (UK), in 2002 they started the 'twisted prog-house' project KruegerandCoyle with a couple of 12'singles on Automatic Rec. and finally the 'Randy Expander' album on Acdc Rec., as well as many live- and dj-gigs all over the globe. Their album hit 'the witness' was elected as one of the 8 strongest prog-house tracks of the year by UKs famous imprint Mixmag, and is still availbale as a ringtone at Jamba UK...

For the past 4 years, Sebastian has been playing almost every weekend in cities such as Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney, Taipeh, Montreal, Toronto, New York, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Cancun, London, Paris, Lisbon, Porto, Brussels, Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Cologne and many more...

Feuerhake certainly needs no introduction as he has releases spanning over the last decade. With four albums, countless singles and dancefloor hits like 'No', 'La Aurora' and 'Tic Tac', Feuerhake has become a pioneer of the German progressive scene!

Sonus is finally back from a long break. He toured Europe extensively around 2003 and many should still have fond memories of his massive dance hits like 'Reisefieber', 'Shadowdance' and 'Alice Is Amazed', making him somewhat of a phenomenon at the time.

Being close friends for years, they have naturally shared the same passion and expectations in terms of their own music. They formed a side-project in 2006, mainly exploring their talents in a more fun and creative way until they eventually decided to produce an album in 2008. Within a year they have managed to sculpt a unique signature built from their past musical backgrounds and experience.

Patchwork beautifully evolves from uplifting and melodic songs like 'Quattro Fromaggi' and the successfully tested dancefloor bomb 'Wir' to deeperi tracks like 'Golden O' or the acoustic sounds you find in 'Who Is That Guy'. A true mature piece of work from two great artists.

In 1997, Spook as the co-founder of the award winning digital production studio Minds Eye Media in San Francisco, released his first platinum enhanced CD "One More Time" by The Real McCoy of Arista Records, that Billboard Magazine called "awesome in the true sense of the word." His next award winning project featured the first all digital music video made for a major label "Beyond" by Young American Primitive of Geffen/Universal, that premiered at the RESFest in 1997, played on MTV's AMP and won the 1998 World Animation Celebration 1st place Music Video Award. Over the years Spook has collaborated with top talents such as Joe Satriani, The Allman Brothers, Elton John and many more. Spook began his DJ/VJ career at the Burning Man Festival in 1998. Nathan was one of the first certified Alias teachers of the Oscar Winning 3D program Maya, presenting his classes at the Academy of Art University, top industry trade shows and conferences. He is the co-writer of the first bestselling Maya book, "Maya 3D Character Animation" (1999 New Riders/Pearsons). Doof Records are proud to present: "Amusia" the fourth album from Troy leidich, the second of the project "REV"

Troy has been active one way or another in different projects over the last 10 years. Beginning with "Fungus of Light" in the late 90's till early 2000's, creating Rev around 2003, and ccL together with Zebra-N in 2005.

REV's style can be characterized by his funky bass lines and mid riffs layered with offbeat samples and atmospheric noodles. This along with experienced and tight production creates a mix mesh of fun intended for amusic lovers and patients everywhere.

"Amusia" is a classic Doof album. The music is dark edged, mostly mid tempo with twisting powerful bass lines. Testing the music on dance floors around the globe, revealed an abnormal behavior of the crowd bouncing madly, while squashing itself towards the speakers.

Electric power pole records proudly presents "Order out of Chaos", the debut album of Australian based duo Hedonix. Robert Dilley and Steven Zanuttini started the Hedonix project in 2001 with the intention of bringing a unique flavour to the world of psychedelic trance. Their highly original sound and versatility has seen them released on various record labels specialising in a diverse range of music such as electric power pole, Cosmic Conspiracy and Vertigo, and has also landed them bookings for live performances all over Australia, Japan and Europe.

The themes for the album include discordianism, duality, chaos theory and esoteric/occult teachings. The work is also heavily influenced by the writings of Robert Anton Wilson, to whom the album is dedicated. Libération Animale is a story about animals, earth
and unnecessary suffering. It is an attempt to shed
light upon the everyday suffering of billions of living
beings, a suffering on which we rarely reflect. Leo
Tolstoy once wrote that a man can live and be
healthy without killing animals for food;
therefore, if he eats meat, he participates in taking
animal life merely for the sake of his appetite. Hence,
the message of Libération Animale is that we are all
equal, no one more worthy than the other.
The story starts out with Kluster and Bloomen whose
tunes are somewhat slower and minimalistic with
squeaky, trippy sounds. The introduction is followed
by The Grobians' hypnotic beats and goa tranceish
melodies and grand bombastic Scandotrance à Ka-
Sol. After that, it is time for Procsish basslines,
prolonging the previous dancefloor hypnotism. Taigan
Sun's contribution is what you can expect from an upand-
coming producer from Sweden, modulating
between being funky and driving, soaked in
prominent mind-bending elements. Known for their
fine forest trance, Attoya, Traskel, and Zoon increase
the intensity of the story, hovering between different
types of abstraction, speed, and moods The story
ends on a positive note yet still intense with Money
Cannot Be Eaten's Schlabbaduerstic hangover tune.
The music is at the centre of attention and we do not
demand that everyone be vegans, even though we
wish that would be the case. What we do wish,
however, is that everyone out there will reflect on his
or her way of life and how it affects all living beings
with whom we share this planet. Unnecessary
suffering can be avoided and it is not too late for
change and compassion!
