Now I am using this template which I think looks absolutely fantastic.

Before you start reading this guide I would like to show you how much money people are making from using paid to click sites.

This is what you can make with a little bit of effort. However before you learn how to make this kind of cash I would like you to take a moment and contemplate how more money would have a positive effect affect on your life.

Now that you personally know what affects this sort of money will have on your life you can begin to learn.

What is a Paid to Click site?

A Paid to Click site (PTC), is a site which advertisers use to market their websites, products and services. Members (like you and me) register on the site and view the ads. For each ad you view you are paid a certain amount. The current standard is $0.01 (keep reading to learn how to make much more) and you will need to view each ad for 30 seconds.

After you have accumulated enough money (the minimum payout outlined by each site), you are able to request payment and have the money transferred into your payment processor (PayPal or Alertpay)

How Does a Paid to Click site work?

Advertisers pay PTC sites to list their advertisements and have them viewed. The PTC sites then use the money they make from the advertisers to pay the registered members who click on the ads. The transfer of money is simplified below.

Advertiser > PTC site > Members

From this process we can see that PTC sites are real businesses and provide a service for the advertising companies. Each site adds between 5 and 20 ads every day.

How much money can I make?

As you saw above you will be able to make a significant amount of money. The amount you make per day depends on several key factors such as:

The number of referrals you have
The amount you make for viewing each ad
The number of ads

Note: A referral is someone who you have referred to the site and has signed up under you. They will be your main source of income. For each ad, each referral views you will make money (usually 50-100% of what the ad is worth).

Here is an example of how money is made. The number of referrals is represented by r, the amount you make for viewing each ad is represented by a, n represents the number of ads and t is the number of days.

Money made = r*a*n*t

This example will use, r= 113, a = $0.01, n = 10 and t = 31 (a month)

Money made = 113 * $0.01 * 10 * 31

Money made = $11.3 * 31 days

Money made in a month is $350.30

The table shows how much can be made with 10ads and $0.01 per ad.

This is a very simplified version, but with enough hard work they are very achievable. If you have 100 active referrals for each site in my top 5 you would earn $50 a day.

The key, thing is to remember if you refer one person to two different sites, they are counted as different referrals. Therefore if you refer 100 people to 10 sites you would have 1000 referrals.

The possibilities are endless.

How do I Start?

There are 5 simple steps to start making money. These are:

1. Learn about Paid to Click Sites

2. Sign up to a Payment Processor

3. Register on PTC sites

4. Get Referrals

5. Get Paid

You are already well on your way to completing step number 1.

2. Signing up to a Payment Processor

I suggest that you create an email (gmail or hotmail are good) just for PTC sites. This is so that you can keep your PTC related emails in the one place.

Once you have done this you will need to sign up to a Payment Processor such as AlertPay and Paypal. I highly recommend using both as Alertpay is the most common on PTC sites and Paypal is more widely used.

To join AlertPay or Paypal simply click on the links provided below and follow the instructions. It is vital that you use correct information when signing up. After you have created an account you are ready to start making money.

3. Registering on PTC sites

The most important thing about this process is picking the right sites to register with. The best places to start are the ones highlighted on the Top 5 page. These sites have been chosen by me, to provide you a list of sites that I feel are best suited to people new to the PTC concept.

The sites on the list are the ones which I feel will provide you the best opportunity to make money and they are all highly reputable.

Things to consider when joining include:

Amount you are paid per ad
Amount you make for every referral’s click
Minimum payout
Payment time
Support (is there a forum?)
Cost to upgrade to premium membership
Reputation

Research each site (that I haven’t listed) and make sure there is proof of people getting paid.

Keep track of which sites you join using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, pen and paper or any other method you want. This is definitely recommended if you are going to join lots of sites

Also I strongly advise that you have a different password for PTC sites and AlertPay and Paypal. This way your earnings are more secure.

The best method is to have between 5 and 10 sites and concentrate on consistently clicking the ads and gaining referrals for your chosen these sites. However, other people believe that is better to be registered on up to 50 sites. If you want more sites I have provided the ones that I think are the best in the Best of the Rest page.

4. Getting Referrals

Referrals are the lifeblood of your earnings. Without referrals there is no point in clicking ads. There are many ways to refer people.

Buying Referrals

All PTC sites offer members a chance to “purchase” referrals. When you buy 15 referrals, the next 15 people to sign up without a referrer become my referrals.

Personally I do not like this option as it is quite risky investing your money, especially for beginners. I personally find other methods to be much better.

Create a blog

This will be the central part of your plan to gain referrals. Your blog does not need to be fancy at all. The main purpose of your blog will be to place all your referral links in the one place. This is so that instead of referring people to individual sites you can simply direct them to your blog and they can follow all the links from their. For simple blogs you will only need to use blogspot.

Once you have created your blog, place all your referral links in a post and post a description of each site highlighting the features. After this you are ready to get traffic to your blog.

Where to post your blog link

Online Forums.

As a member of an online forum you can place your blog link or referral links in your signature. You can also use your avatar to inform people of your site. The best thing to do is to create a thread in the appropriate section and use it to create an informative post about PTC and place a link to your blog at the end. Be creative but always remember to use etiquette, proper grammar and spelling and obey the rules of the forum.

There are several forums dedicated to PTC sites and these provide you with an opportunity to advertise your blog as well as use site specific devices to trade referral links. A list of these can be found on the links page.

Social Networking Sites

Social networking sites such as Myspace provide the tools for you to post and inform other people of PTC sites and to post your blog link. I have used this to great success. Use comments and bulletins to let others know about your blog.

You can email the people you know. However be aware that if you spam people and the sites you use find out your account will be terminated. Therefore it is best to just email people you know who will be interested in this kind of thing.

Real people

Just talk to people you know and meet in real life. Most people would love to make more money, and will be grateful if you can help them meet their goals.

Chat rooms

Visit internet chat rooms and talk to people, but always be polite and remember not to break any rules. Don’t simply spam your blog link in the chat room as that will get you nowhere.

Advertising in the real world.

This is an interesting one that I was introduced to by Shane3x’s blog (find it in the links section). Simply create flyers, with a small explanation of PTC sites and a link to your blog site. Once this is done distribute them amongst your neighbourhood. If you are ambitious you could even get your local newspaper to deliver them alongside the catalogues.

PTC sites.

Use the money you have made to get advertising space on PTC sites. Preferably use popular sites or new sites and get the traffic going to your blog. This will increase your traffic substantially and hopefully you will get many new referrals because of it.

Other ideas

Include making videos to post on video sharing sites, joining traffic exchange programs and getting linked to by other blogs and websites. You can also investigate into SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to try and have your blog ranked high on Google or Yahoo.

5. Getting Paid

Lastly you must click ads as often as possible. You have an obligation to your upline (the person who referred you). This topic is further discussed in PTC Etiquette. But in short if everyone is going to make money, EVERYONE needs to click on the ads for each site they are an active member.

5 Ways to Make Money Online

This is a post dedicated to informing people about the various ways online. The best way to make money is through having multiple sources of revenue. Unless you have a fantastic idea that you are going to implement you will need to have several sources of income on the internet.

However if you have an idea that will make you millions like Mark Zuckerberg did with facebook (23 years old and worth $700+ million) go for it.

Anyone who wants to make money online should read this. The money you will make is proportionate to the time and effort you put in. Onto the sources of income.

Selling on eBay.

Perhaps the most well known method of making money is through selling things through internet auctioning sites such as eBay. The premise is simple, you post an item you want to sell and then prospective buyers view your ad and then bid on it. The highest bid wins.

If you are familiar with the site you have most likely seen users with over 100,000 sales. These power users are most likely making a very good profit from it. And if they can do it so can you.

The biggest part of this is knowing what to sell and knowing where to buy it in bulk cheaply. I suggest that you sell a product or a range of products that you are familiar with. Search ebay and research products you would like to sell. By being specific about it you may be able to find a niche market with very few competitors.

The hardest part is finding a list of suppliers. You need to be able to get the products cheaply so that when you sell them you can make a nice profit.

I recommend salehoo.com as they have proven to provide a great service to their 40,000+ members and regularly find suppliers for almost any goods. The price of lifetime membership is $67.00 (however don’t pay until you research for yourself). The site may not give you want you need but you can ask them to find suppliers for your product and they do it for free. Along with this you also gain access to their members forum which automatically networks you with over 40,000 people with similar interests. It’s a good place to start.

There are several other sites which list wholesalers and these can be found on search engines.

BUT remember always do your research. Go find some reviews or sites that have experiences of previous customers. Never trust a site soley based on their word, if you are getting excited about something then they are doing a good job marketing, it does not mean they are being honest.

Once you know your product and have a supplier, investigate whether drop shipping is for you. This is a service in which a third party (can also be part of the wholesaler’s service) known as a dropshipper sends the product straight to the consumer. This is convenient as you never see the product and do not have to go through the hassle of packaging it yourself. The downside is that you do not know the quality and thus may have to pay out of pocket to refund customers who receive faulty products. To read more about dropshipping go here.

Selling on Craigslist and in Trading papers

In the past I have made a killing from this. Simply you find a product, buy it wholesale online, or from a cheap supplier and then resell it locally. I do this, with Nintendo DS flashcards such as the R4 Revolution. These products allow you to use third party software on the Nintendo DS. I chose this product because it is cheap to buy, it is a niche market, and because of the target market’s needs. The target market is children between 10 and 16. They know about the products due to their proficiency with the internet but due to conservative parents who do not yet trust the internet are unable to buy them.

However you provide them with the alternative which satisfies their parents need for safety in the transaction. The beauty of this is that you can make 50-100% profit. For example I buy the flash cards for $35-$45 and through in a $20 memory card. I then sell the combined package for $100 in the paper.

This gives me a profit of between $35 and $45 for each package I sell. On average I sell between 5-10 of these a week. As you can see that provides me with a nice source of income.

“Get Paid to” Sites

This blog was originally designed to help me turn this into a serious source of income. However as I have gotten into it I have found that more and more people want to learn various methods of making money.

“Get Paid to” sites are sites that pay you to do actions such as read emails, complete surveys and click on ads. By using survey sites such as cashcrate.com you will be able to complete surveys and make money from it. If you are dedicated you will be making up to $30 a week. This kind of money for the time required is quite frankly is shit. So I will go straight onto what I think is one of the best ways to make a source of constant income Paid to Click sites.

Paid to Click sites are sites set up by people to bring advertisers and consumers together. Advertisers pay the site owners to place ads up on their sites. In turn the owners of the site then pay members between $0.005 and $0.01 to click and view the ads for a predetermined period of time. This also seems like shit money, however the best part is the referral system.

If you refer someone to a site the site owners will pay you for each ad that your referral views. Usually this is also between $0.005 and $0.01. The table below shows some potential earnings based on an average of 10 ads per day and each ad being worth $0.01.

From this you can see that if you refer 10 people to just one site you will make $1 each day. To maximise profit I suggest that you join up to 10 sites. That way if you only refer 10 people, you can refer them to 10 sites and that would count as a total of 100 referrals. This would make you $10 a day. The amount of people you refer is all up to you. This process is explained thoroughly in my PTC Basics Guide.

Google AdSense

One of the most popular ways of creating a source of revenue on the internet is using Google AdSense. Simply you place AdSense ads on your blog or website and everytime they are clicked you will make money. The biggest problem with this is that to make a lot of money you will need to be getting lots of traffic to your site or blog. To do this you will need to create quality content, and utilise Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques to increase your Search Engine Results Page (SERP). There are many ways to increase your SERP and you will need to learn the basics of SEO to do it. It is such a comprehensive thing that there is no way I will be able to even the scratch the surface with this blog entry.

When creating a site or a blog you will need to make it on a topic that you are interested in. One of the best options is to make a current affairs blog where the content is related to what happens in the world specific to your topic. For example you could have a blog based around a popular actress. The beauty of this is that with certain SEO techniques such as posting news articles you will be able to gain more traffic. Furthermore because you are blogging on a popular person there is likely to be many people looking for information and news on them.

The ads from AdSense will relate to the topic you discuss and therefore increases the likeliness that someone will click on those ads. Once you have gone through the initial phase of setting up the site and then getting moderate amounts of traffic the maintenance will be minimal.

Depending on the effort you put in and your success you can make up to a five figure sum of money monthly just through AdSense ads.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing works by you promoting a companies product or service and then receiving a commission whenever someone buys or joins using your affiliate link. Think of it as if you are a sales person. The amount of money you make depends on the number of sales you make.

How you make your sales is completely up to you. The amount of money you make depends on the affiliate program, for example Salehoo’s affiliate program pays you $45.73 or 61%. If you refer ten people to Salehoo then you will make $457.30. Damn good money! The following three sites have databases of sites that have affiliate programs and top-affiliate even has a ranking system so you can see which ones will make you the most money. Welcome to PTC100. This blog has been setup to help beginners and more experienced people make money online through the easiest method possible.

I used to be like most other people and I was stuck in the rat-race. I believed that the only way to make money was through a career and as a student in my senior year my career plan looked like this:

Graduate school > Go to University > Get a degree > Find a job and settle in for 50 years.

Completely boring, uninspiring and it definitely lacked ambition. But in the last 12 months my life has completely changed. I now work for myself and enjoy the money that I earned so easily and almost completely without stress.

So what happened?

12 months ago I was home alone doing an assignment and all of a sudden I felt something move passed my leg. I looked down to see the cutest dog imaginable. She was called Amy and was obviously lost and had just happened to walk into my house. Instinctively I looked for a phone number on the collar and less than an hour after ringing the owners Amy was returned. The most important part of the story was that I received $10 for my efforts, a seemingly small sum of money, but I had done next to nothing for it.

This sequence of events got me thinking and I was soon wondering if it was possible for me to earn $10 a day by doing next to nothing.

Of course I found out that I could make $10 a day, but it was more exciting that I could easily make so much more than that each day. Today I work for myself running a successful trading business as well as various other money making projects. 3 months ago I became interested in Paid to Click (PTC) sites. Sites which require members to click and view ads and for each ad that is viewed for the allotted time the member is paid. Previously I had thought that these sites were all scams, but that is simply not true. Now that I have found many trusted sites, I have made a substantial amount of money. To help me make money.

I feel like this blog does a very good job in helping beginners. I believe all the information you need to start your journey is on this blog. The second purpose of helping me make money requires your help. Etiquette

The first thing that probably comes to mind when I say that etiquette is one of the most important things in our industry is “What the…?”

Firstly let me assure you that etiquette is indeed a vital attribute in the PTC world. Without it, the money making opportunities would be severely hindered.

What is PTC Etiquette?

There are several things that I classify as being related to PTC Etiquette. In short PTC Etiquette refers to how a member of the community should act in regards to the sites that they use, their downline and their upline.

PTC Etiquette includes:
• Clicking ads as often as possible
• Clicking at least 75% of the maximum ads available
• Being courteous to other members of the community, including PTC site owners
• Not spamming your referral links at every possible opportunity

Why is it so important?

The most important part of this etiquette is to click ads as often as you can (and as many as you can). Once you have over 100 referrals in your downline, you may think that it is OK for you o stop clicking yourself. I mean who cares?

Your contributions might not count for that much money in your total earnings. But you are a vital contributor to your upline’s income. You potentially earn on average $0.10 per site, per day for your clicks alone. But if you stop clicking, your upline stops making money. $0.10 per day becomes $36.50 per year, per site. If he referred you to 10 sites, they will never see the $365 per year you could have easily made.

Your upline may be counting on that money to survive. Many PTC users live in poorer nature and US dollars have a lot of value But they may never see the money if you have a selfish nature.

What happens when the people in your downline, your referrals, start thinking the same way? Quickly you stop making money and see the hard work that you put in become futile. That is the problem. If everyone stops clicking and relies on their referrals to make them money, then everyone suffers. The advertisers don’t get any views to their sites, the Paid to Click sites don’t get paid by the advertisers and therefore have no money to pay the members.

In short click the most amount of ads you can as often as you can.

Being courteous and not spamming people, is general common sense and is important in any internet community. I have seen it so many times before, a new member coming in and generally being an ass or speling lyk dis, and the whole community has banned, ignored or ridiculed them.

If you are serious about earning money you will need to be able to communicate to other people properly, make contacts and most importantly gain the respect of fellow members.

How do I ensure that people will use Etiquette?

The only way people will start clicking again after clicking is to educate them. Simply summarise what I have said here and tell them. Alternatively you could create a post on your own blog on PTC Etiquette or direct your readers to this page.

If you are reading this you are most likely new to the concept of Paid to Click sites. Not long ago, I was a beginner, and now I am in a position to help you become successful. I said this in the About Me section but I feel it is also appropriate here.

I hate wasting my time and I hate wasting the time of others, because time is our most precious resource. Therefore I am doing my best to give you the best information and guidance.

What is a Paid to Click site?

A Paid to Click site (PTC), is a site in which advertisers use to market their websites, products and/or services. Members, like me and you, register on the site and can then browse ads. For each ad you view you are paid a certain amount. The current standard is $0.01 and you will need to view each ad for 30 seconds.

After you have accumulated enough money (the minimum payout outlined by each site), you are able to request payment and have the money transferred into your online money service (explained later).

How Does a Paid to Click site work?

You may be wondering how these PTC sites are able to give away money to sometimes over a hundred thousand members. The process is actually quite simple.

Advertisers pay PTC sites to list their advertisements and pay by the number of views their ad gets from the members of their site. The PTC sites then use the money they make from the advertisers to pay the registered members who click on the ads. The transfer of money is simplified below.

Advertiser > PTC site > Members

From this process we can see that PTC sites are real businesses and provide a service for the advertising companies. Each site adds between 5 and 20 ads every day.

How much money can I make?

Like the rest of us, you are likely affected by the rising prices of fuel and other commodities needed for every day life. However unlike the average joe you are looking for additional ways to make money, and that is why you are here. As I am sure you are aware $0.01 is not very much money.

However, let me assure you, you CAN and WILL make a substantial amount of money from these “penny sites”.

The only real way to make money on PTC sites is through referring other people to each site. Every time a person that you referred (a referral) clicks on an ad, you will make money. For most sites you make $0.01 for every ad your referral clicks. Therefore the way to make money on PTC sites is to have lots and lots of referrals clicking ads and making money for you.

Let us do some math!

The RANT Formula

M = r*a*n*t

Where M is money we make, r is the number of referrals (including ourselves) clicking each day, a is the amount paid per ad, n is the quantity of ads and t is time in days.

For this example we will be paid $0.01 per ad and there are 10 ads available each day.

Of course this is a very simplified version, but these amounts of money are very achievable. My current goal is to get 100 active referrals for each site in my top 10. According to these calculations I would earn $100 a day.

The key, thing is to remember if you refer one person to two different sites, they are counted as different referrals. Theoretically I could refer 100 people to my Top 10 Sites and in total I would have 1000 referrals.

The possibilities are endless.

How do I Start?

There are 5 simple steps to getting started and making money. These are:

You are already well on your way to completing step number 1. After you finish reading this post I believe you will know all you need to know about PTC sites. And if you feel like learning more, the other posts here and the links on the links page will provide you with all the knowledge you need.

Signing up to a Payment Processor

The first thing you need to do is to create a new email. This is so that you can keep your PTC related emails in the one place and so that it does not clog up your personal email inbox. I suggest using either gmail or hotmail, but anything will do.

Once you have done this you will need to sign up to a Payment Processor such as AlertPay and Paypal. I highly recommend using AlertPay as every PTC that I have encountered is able to process payments with them whereas only about 20% of sites are capable of paying your money into a Paypal account.

Registering on PTC sites

Possibly the most important thing about this process is picking the right sites to register with. The best places to start are the ones highlighted on the Top 5 page. These sites have been chosen by me, and have passed through a criterion to provide you, my reader, a list of sites that I feel are best suited to people new to the PTC concept.

The things to consider include:

Amount you are paid per ad
Amount you make for every referral’s click
Minimum payout
Payment time
Support (is there a forum?)
Cost to upgrade to premium membership

Also you should research each site (that I haven’t listed) and make sure there is proof of people getting paid.

You should keep track of which sites you join. I personally use an excel spreadsheet but other people have been known to use databases, word processors or simply using a notebook and pen and jotting down each site they join. This is quite good as there are lots of PTC sites and you may forget about some and may later want to join up again but can’t because it is against the sites policy. Also I strongly advise that you have a different password for PTC sites and AlertPay and Paypal.

I genuinely believe that the best method is to have up to 10 sites and concentrate on consistently clicking the ads and gaining referrals for your chosen 10 sites. However, other people believe that is better to be registered on up to 50 sites. This is great, if you have the time and motivation to click the ads for 50 different sites. If you want more sites I have provided the ones that I think are the best in the “Best of the Rest” page.

Getting Referrals

This is most likely the most difficult thing in making money through PTC sites. There are several methods into getting more referrals. All PTC sites offer members a chance to “purchase” referrals. That is if I bought 15 referrals, the next 15 people to sign up without referring anybody become my referrals. Personally I do not like this option as it is quite risky investing your money into something like this, especially for beginners. I personally find other methods to be much better.

Even though once you finish reading this, we will most likely become competitors in the race to refer people, I will list and describe the best ways to refer people.

Create a blog.

This will be the central part of your plan to gain referrals. Your blog does not need to be fancy at all. The main purpose of your blog will be to place all your referral links in the one place. This is so that instead of referring people to individual sites you can simply direct them to your blog and they can follow all the links from their. If you want to get a regular reader base (which is my aim), you will need to put many hours of work into it, but fortunately this is not necessary. For simple blogs you will only need to use blogspot.

Once you have created your blog, placed all your referral links in a post and posted a description of each site highlighting the features you are ready to get your blog known.

Where to post your blog link

Online Forums.

As a member of an online forum you can place your blog link or referral links in your signature. You can also use your avatar to inform people of your site. The other thing you can do is to create a thread in the general section and use it to create an informative post about PTC and link to your blog at the ended. Be creative but always remember to use etiquette, proper grammar and spelling and above all obey the rules of the forum.

There are several forums dedicated to PTC sites and these provide you with an opportunity to advertise your blog as well as use site specific devices to trade referral links.

Social Networking Sites

Social networking sites such as Myspace provide the tools for you to post and inform other people of PTC sites and to post your blog link. I have used this to great success.

You can also email the people you know. However be aware that if you spam people and the sites you use find out your account will be terminated. Therefore it is best to just email people you know who will be interested in this kind of thing.

Real people

Just talk to people you know and meet in real life. Most people would love to make more money, and will be grateful if you can help them meet their goals.

Chat rooms

Self-explanatory. Just talk to people, but always be polite and remember not to break any rules. Above all don’t simply spam your blog link in the chat room. That’s going to get you nowhere.

Advertising in the real world.

PTC sites.

Use your hard earned money to get advertising space on PTC sites. Preferably use popular sites, which you are not a member of, and get the traffic going to your blog. This will increase your traffic substantially and hopefully you will get many new referrals because of it.

Other ideas

Include making videos to post on video sharing sites, joining traffic exchange programs and getting linked to by other blogs and websites.

Getting Paid

Finally we can talk about the final and most satisfying step getting paid. It is pretty simple, request your payment and within the time specified you will receive your money into your AlertPay account. Alternatively you can use the money to invest into the becoming a premium member with the site or buying more referrals but these are topics for a later discussion.

There is one last thing that you must know, and never forgot.

You must click ads as often as psossible. Even if you have a squillion referrals, you still have an obligation to your upline (the person who referred you). This topic is further discussed in PTC Etiquette(LINK). But in short if everyone is going to make money, EVERYONE needs to click on the ads for each site they are an active member.

This way everyone is making the most amount of money possible.

Whilst the price per click may seem like a negative, it is actually a positive. It means that the site is definitely sustainable and more advertisers are able to place ads on the site this of course means more ads for us to click. Because of the sheer number of ads on offer I think becoming a premium member is a very wise idea. With almost 100 ads per day you could be making $1 each day just through your own efforts. And then you can factor in what you make from your referrals.

4. Isabelmarco

Isabelmarco is one of the most reputable sites in the PTC industry. It has been around for a long time and has over 560 000 members. It has also paid out over $250 000. Obviously it is therefore a trustworthy site.

I am 18 years old, living at home, and currently working towards become a personal trainer. I’ve known for awhile that office work was not for me and that my ambitious and competitive nature will lead me to bigger things.
