There are various opportunities on the net that made someone to earn extra money online, the most popular of them all is adsense. However, there is another program that I used, besides adsense, to make my blog earn money today and that is Kontera, this is in-text advertising where in it can run together with google ad and not against adsense terms.

After placing the Kontera ad code, it will take up to 24 hours before the in-text ad will appear on your blog. No further action is required on your side just wait until the ad is gone live, then once a visitor clicked on the in-text ad you will get paid, like adsense the payout limit for Kontera in $100, which means that your earnings must meet this amount before you receive any payment. My earning in Kontera is not that much compare to my adsense income maybe because in adsense I have implemented high paying adsense keyword on my content, but at least it just enough for the payment of my blog domain name.

MyBlogLog, when you have yahoo id, you can easily access this sites. Use your yahoo id and password to get inside then submit your blog. Same with blog catalog you can also interact with other members. You can add community to your blog and become member also with other community.

Entrecard, this social network provides banners that you can display on your blog. Once another member drop a card on the banner you will earn Entrecard Credits, this credits can be used to purchase ad on other site with Entrecard widget to promote your blog this Entrecard Credits can also be used to purchased products available o Entrecard store.

We all know that to earn money today on adsense, traffic is necessary and one source of traffic is by means of search engine like the google. How to optimize your website is one of the key steps in making your page to be up there on the first page of google search results. Several techniques are used by most bloggers just to gain edge against competitors on the topic they are discussing.

Optimizing your website to rank well on search engine results can be beneficial in the long run to increase your adsense click trough rate. There are several techniques on how to optimize your website and one of those is by adding Meta tags on your blog. Though there are some tags that have no use when implemented on the blog, but still it’s better to have Meta tags than having nothing at all.

Use the code below for making description tag. When making description of your blog include the main keyword you used on your blog.

Place the code above on the head after the <head> and before the </head>. The description of your blog should be within 150 characters including spaces to display the complete descriptions on search results.

2. Meta tag for keywords, though some says it is not necessary to use this tag your blog would better have this than without it. This tag contains all the keyword you have targeted on your page. Use the code below for keyword tag.

You can place the tag just after the description tag. The keyword that you use must be related to the content of your page.

So far those are the tags that I’ve used for my website, there are other Meta tags available for use on how to optimize your website but some are already obsolete because of the advancement of today’s search engine having them would not make any difference to your blog.

Now, when you create a blog, search first for the high paying adsense keywords that can generates you more adsense revenue then optimized your page based on that keywords. Used it on the description of your blog and on the keywords tag to gain advantage with other pages, but of course this is just a start of optimizing your page, you still need to build more link into your pages to make sure that you rank first on the google search engine results.

Everyone knows that ranking for high paying adsense keywords is one of determining factors for adsense success.

High paying adsense keywords are those words or phrase that a visitor is use to type into the search box when a visitor search for information using the search engine such as google, that can generates high adsense income, you can find those words using keyword tool with the likes of Google keyword tools and word tracker.

However, when you do a keyword research choose only the words or phrase in which can generates high cpc value with low competition. When I say low competition, this means that there is not much site that uses the same keyword as you targeted so that you can get rank well on search engine results, depending on how you optimized your site for that keyword.

How to research for high paying adsense keywords

Start by making a list of the words or phrase you want to look for, that is of course related to your blog or site. Put yourself in a visitor’s point of view. When you look for the information, what word or phrase you are going to type into the search engine box. List all of those words and phrases.

Search for the word that is in the list using keyword tool. When I do a keyword research I use the google keyword tool because most of the information that I need was already present on that keyword tool and the most important is it’s free.

Using the Google keyword tool

Open google keyword tool, then type in the word you have on list on the search box that says “Enter one keyword or phrase per line”, then hit the “Get keyword ideas” button. For the example, I search for adsense. Ensure to type in the correct pass code.

Once keyword search results was generated, you have an option of what data you are about to view. On the match type option select “exact” match, and then on the “Choose columns to display” select “Show Estimated Avg. CPC” to display the estimated value of the keyword on your screen.

This is what it looks like, we found out that the google adsense has average Global Monthly Search Volume of 301,000 and that a lot of visitors to capture. The estimated average adsense cpc is $9.32, which tells us that the word google adsense can generates an estimated high adsens income and can be classify as high paying adsense keywords.

This are only just an estimated value, no one really knows how much you can get for the keyword when visitors click the ad. But it’s better to have an estimated adsense cpc to target.

Next is to look how many website are there competing with the keyword we have choose. Open google search engine and type in the keyword, “[google adsense]” then hit google search button.

Once the search result is generated, we can now see the competition, for our sample a total of 21,500,000 pages are competing for google adsense. Wow, that’s a lot of competitors.

Now our estimate based on 301,000 searches per month against 21,500,000 search result. There are 71 pages competing for each visitor searching for google adsense. If you want to be found by one visitor you must outrank 70 sites and to think that the page on top is owned by google, therefore the keyword we choose is not feasible to get rank for. Now, try to find another keyword that can generates high adsense income with less competition then when you find one, optimized your blog to target that keyword. When I am estimating I used a keyword that less or equivalent to 10 pages competing for that keyword.

Every bloggers goal is to be up there on the first page of the search engine with of course using the high paying adsense keywords. When you target high paying keyword ensure that the keyword can be seen in your blog or else you will end up on the last page of google search engine.

How a keyword is implemented on your blog

Keyword phrase text is made bold.
Make the keyword italic.
Key must be in heading text
Include keyword on the url of your page. For blogger.com when you right the title of the post, this will automatically reflected to the URL of the page.

Finding the high paying adsense keywords needs a lot of researching to do with the help of keyword tools, and once you have found that keyword the next move is to build traffic on that keyword, then when you rank number one on that google search result for that keyword then that’s the start of high adsense earnings.

One source of making money with blog is by signing up for google adsense account and implement the code that will be generated once your adsense account will be approved.

How to sign up for google adsense account

1) Open adsense link then select sign up to open the window and fill-in the necessary information that google required you to provide.

2) On the “Account Type” decide whether you want an individual account or company account. The google adsense account name you will provide is where the google send the money or to who the check will be address to. So for example you choose for an individual account, payment from google will be directed to you.

3) On the “Website Information” specify the url of your blog or site, for example www.publisherquest.com and then select the language you prefer that your blog or website is used. Do not worry if you have multiple blog since you will only use one url for signing in, but you can implement the adsense code in all of your blog.

4) On the “Product Selection” leave this one as default. By default it is set to adsense for content and adsense for search.

5) On the “Contact Information” specify the complete name of the individual to receive the adsense income, including the address and phone number. On the box that says optional, no need to fill it up.

6) Then on the “Login Information” specify your email address and password including an option if you want to receive periodic news letters to get updated.

Before, I had no idea about blogging until I heard it from the news and I become curios about it. 3) Then this is the hardest part, build traffic. Even though your blog is full of good quality content, without the traffic your blog will not generate income. There are several ways to build traffic but then again it will need a lot of effort to do so. One way of having traffic is by building link, the more site linking to your blog using the key word you are targeting the higher your page will get rank on search engine. When someone is searching for the keyword you choose your page will be up there when the search result is generated and the visitor will be directed to your blog and once this visitor visit one of the ad then you get paid.

A lot of opportunities can be found online from searching information, playing games, social networking and of course earn money online. When I went to western union to pick up the income I earned thru adsense, when the teller saw that the money came from google, he immediately ask me what did I do why google paid me, simply I answered blogging. Then he began asking more information on how I got to earn money online.

Actually earning money online starts by creating a blog and serve ad into it, sounds so simple but actually not, it took a lot of hard work before you earn extra cash from your blog.

Ways to earn money online

1) Sign up for google adsense. If you have a blog start serving adsens ad into your blog. Once you sign up, you will be given a code this code must be added in your blog to start showing ads to your site then when a visitor comes in your site and the ad is click, you will get paid by google.

2) Write sponsored reviews. Join sponsored review site, once you have joined the program, you can join the bidding for various advertiser products then if the advertiser approved your bid, you will start writing blog post of their product then you will get paid.

3) Sell ad on your blog. Tell your visitor that you are selling ad space on your blog, have link telling them to contact you if they want you buy ad space, but of course your blog must have a lot of visitor to attract advertisers.

4) Affiliate Marketing. Join affiliate marketing, one program that I have joined is the amazon.com, so far my blog about all auto is doing good. Earn Extra Money thru Blogging

It’s been a year since I started blogging and since then I already earn extra money, one of the major program where I earn extra money is thru adsense, thought I used different programs in my other blog but those blog only earned me not much it cannot even pay for the annual domain registration fee, but that does not frustrate me from blogging, after all the reason why I blog is to write information which I can also use and easily access online which means that the blog I have created serves as my data bank of information.

But of course I have another blog which the purpose is to earn extra money, which is where I concentrated my effort. So far, of the programs that I have used, only adsense is the most profitable.

How can you earn extra money on adsense?There are four steps that I know which I used and already done to earn extra online.

1. Create a blog.
2. Sign-up for an adsense account and embed adsense code on your blog.
3. Write quality content that is keyword targeted.
4. Build traffic

Of the four, the first three is the easiest and the last is the most difficult which I am currently doing for the rest of my blog.

This is just the first of the part of an ebook I am working with, to record all of the work that i have done since i started blogging.

When you are new to blogging and would like to create one, but do not know where to start then this article is for you.

Before I started blogging, first I did is to decide what topic I intend to blog about. I Started with a topic which I am familiar with, when I first start my blog the topic I choose was about my work, since I am working in an automotive the first blog I created was about automotive, a blog related to car diagnose.

However if your not working and do not have a work to discuss about, you can start to blog about your hobbies, or the places that you have been to. You can even blog about your favorite books, about latest gadget, about the games you like to play and many more. What is important though is that to choose a topic that is concentrated on one subject and you like most.

After you decide what topic you intend to discuss, the next move is to choose the most profitable searchable keyword for that topic and use this as your domain name, domain name is the one you see on the address box above the left corner of your internet browser, but of course the keyword you choose must be of low competition, when I say low competition, the blog or site that uses this kind of keyword must be minimal. In my case I use the Google AdWords: Keyword Tool to find out what profitable key word to use.

At last, after a year since I started signing in for Kontera account and embedded the code on my car diagnostic site, this is the first time I received my first payment from Kontera.
