National Hockey LeagueThe National Hockey League (NHL) is an official Major Sponsor of the Pucks Against Poverty event. Mr. Willie O’Ree (the first professional black hockey player) will be attending our event as our honored and featured guest. Inspired by the Pucks Against Poverty campaign, the NHL is now moving forward with their programming to help families who cannot afford the cost of hockey to participate in hockey programs right here in the Northland! The Pucks Against Poverty Face Off was a great success!
It was a great event!
We had rough count of about 300 people who showed up.
