First things that come to my mind are floating cars, holographic computers, and brain downloads like on "The Matrix." Though it may seem like a small step into the future, but these holographic sheets could enhance the way we use computers and allow a real 3d element to what we see on our 2d screens right now.

Maybe in the next 10 years we could have one of these 3d holographic sheets as computer monitors hanging on the walls of all our rooms in the house. Wouldn't that be awesome! What do you think is the next step towards a better future in technology? Anything that you want to see come happen? Leave comments below for us all to enjoy!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was sitting outside this morning on my back porch while glaring over at the neighbor's lawn with envy. Perfectly cut, no weeds, and the lawn was a vibrant green shade that showed that the lawn was healthy. I immediately starting making myself a todo list on my phone with things that I need to do in order to have m yard look like theirs.

The list consisted of the usual yearly tasks like getting new blades for the mower, have a tune-up done on the weed-eater, and pick up a Scotts® Snap® Spreader System. I chose to go with the Scotts® Snap® Spreader System for a few different reasons. For one thing, it's a no mess, no guess spreader system and as all of you know.. I'm a bit of a klutz. I always end up spending more time cleaning up than I do during fertilizing. It keeps the mess to a minimum by having the Snap Pac connect to the spreader which requires no cutting, opening, or pouring. Doesn't that just sound heavenly? Then you just spray. You don't have to fiddle with settings that you have no idea of what they do. Finally, you just finish up by taking the Snap Pac off and it self seals while you do this!

I also like the system because of the awesome reviews that it has gotten on it's Facebook page. You can find lots of Snap perks on Facebook if you just "like" their page. Be the first to know their promotions and contests! Here's a little testimonial for you to check out too.

Everyone could use a few new customers. If you've been looking to expand your customer base, looking for new readers for your blog, or trying to build a mailing list to show off that next new hot product that you come out with.. then you need to check out infofree.

I gave infofree a shot and found it to be exceptional and has more information than I could have dreamed for. I have been looking for a few new investors for some projects that I'm working on and found that their 50+ databases had lots of leads for me to contact. You can search, select, view and download unlimited times with their website. They even give you a map with the leads marked on there for you to see their proximity to you. I found that searches were easy to narrow down too. Whether it be by area code, homeowners, bankruptcy filers, or people turning 65.

They have lots of awesome features coming soon too! Like alerts on new prospects, local weather and news, ability to send surveys, free contact manager, and uploading customer files. This seems to be the best way to find easy sales leads to help your business. A product like this is huge potential for enhancing your company growth and productivity.

Guess what! They are letting me give you a blogger special on the product!! With the blogger special it is a low price of $39.95 a month. Just use my promo code BLOG39 and you are set to check out this great new service.

[Contest]

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Contest Factory for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Are you tired of that crumby, old, boring, tiresome cubicle that you have at work? Yep, I thought you would be. Well, boy do I have a surprise for you! You can enter the Pimp My Cube Contest and make your cubicle the most kick-butt place to work in the world.

The worse your office is then the better! They just want you to do a walkthrough of your workspace giving commentary telling everyone why your office or workspace sucks. The creators of Pimp My Cube, Contest Factory, want to look at your sorry excuse for a workspace in the video.

Wanna know a secret? You can actually better your chances too! After uploading that good, err bad video :), send links to your friends, family, coworkers, and that boiled peanut salesman on the highway so that they can vote for your video. The more votes, the better.

What do you get out of this you may ask... They have 3 prize packages to pick from:

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Don't you just hate it when the companies try to start taking advantage of the little guy? Especially, when the little guy is you and me. Right now it is hard enough for most of us to make our monthly bill payments much less fork out a fortune of money for medicines.

The news about the whole Walgreens and Express Scripts fiasco had a bunch of us scared that we would be without our medications if they didn't come to an agreement. Well, they didn't. Since an agreement couldn't be made due to Express Scripts wanting to alter the already running contract, those customers that have enjoyed their Walgreens Pharmacy service using their Express Script plans would have need to go to other pharmacies. Which made a lot of people angry since they were being expected to pay higher costs, drive further, and not get that same top-notch customer service that they would receive from Walgreens.

The Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens was put together to help customers lower their costs when purchasing medications from their local Walgreens store. Well, now Walgreens is helping those Express Scripts customers that want to continue going to their favorite local Walgreens. They are doing this by giving everyone a discount. It will only be $5 a year for individuals, and $10 a year for a family membership. Included with this plan are some great benefits like the savings on more than 8,000 brand-name and generic medications, great savings on things like flu shots, diabetic supplies, and even pet prescriptions. Don't forget about those superb bonuses for using the photofinishing services or purchasing Walgreens products.

Get all the latest news, services, and discounts by liking Walgreens on Facebook and following Walgreens on Twitter just like I did.

What do you think about your local Walgreens? Does it make you feel better to know that there are companies out there that think about us and our wallets?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Snapdragon by Qualcomm for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

A new era has come. Technology has become the center of our lifestyles and with that comes the nerds. Nerds were once the joke of the "jock" circles, but now we are seen as equals. For instance, Qualcomm's Snapdragon, the makers of processors, are having their name temporarily placed upon a football stadium. Yep, you read that right! Qualcomm Stadium, the Mission Valley stadium that Qualcomm has had naming rights for since 1997, will be renamed the Snapdragon Stadium in respect to the Snapdragon processor.

This is an honor to anyone that works in the Technology field. A sign that we have achieved a goal that has long been awaited. In the 80's or even in the 90's, it would have never been an option for a processor building company to have their name on a football stadium. This is truly a highlight in my life. Makes me proud of being a nerd now and developing things for Smartphones.

For those football fans that are curious about who will be playing on that field during the temporary, yet epic, name change.. A Chargers Sunday night game, December 18th, against Baltimore will be played under the new name, and two fantastic College Bowl games, both the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl and the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl. The Poinsettia Bowl will be on December 21st while the Holiday Bowl will be held on December 28th. This will be a ten day stand of glory to all of us technology enthusiasts.

Snapdragon processors by Qualcomm are the digital brains inside mobile devices made by smartphone giants, such as, Samsung, Nokia, LG, and HTC. Which means that you have a high probability of being a Snapdragon user right now. Heck, you might be reading this on a Snapdragon device. Snapdragon application processors allow us to have fast and reliable devices that bring the umph into our Smartphones. They power applications that both, I and you, use every day.

Now we stand at a solute to the processor developers. Thank you Qualcomm for the chance to shine, and Snapdragon developers for bringing us a high quality product.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Contest Factory for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

They are looking for cubicles and office spaces that have bad furniture, old technology, messy, unorganized, dirty, noisy, dark, or anything else that makes for a bad work environment.

The name of Contest Factory's contest is Pimp My Cube Contest.
The Contest Factory judges will be judging on number of votes, best video with the worst office, and the most interesting story.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Norton Small Business by Symantec for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

My small business, maybe like yours, is dependent on my computers being in tip-top shape and running smoothly. This is impossible if your computers get infected with malware. At one point-in-time my computers in my office were going devastatingly slow while trying to get work done for my clients. I couldn't even open some of my applications that are essential to my day-to-day business. My web browser started just sitting there and not opening pages. Come to find out, I got a virus! I had to take the computer to a professional in order to get it all cleaned up and working right. This cost me tons of money, and that's not even factoring in the money lost from not being able to take on new clients since I didn't have my work stations. That is when I really started to think about anti-virus software. I was looking around at all the different anti-virus applications that were on the web and also looked at ratings from customers.

Hands down, Norton Small Business by Symantec products were given high ratings in both performance of the software and in customer support. I was reading about how people's memories, business materials, and games were saved by Norton's top notch software.

Some stats that I ran by were quite baffling. Did you know that 6 out of 10 small business owners have found malware on their computer in the past three years? This is crazy madness! Folks, it's essential for us to make sure we protect your Small Business from the latest online threats.

At Norton right now there is a special deal going on. They are nice enough to be giving Small Business owners 30% on some of their products for 5 to 10 computers! This is the perfect time for you to protect yourselves, your livelihood, and your information. By thinking that you are just okay then you will end up like how I was and devastated when you are attacked by these viruses, worms, or Trojans. They always strike at the worst moments, so why not be prepared for them? You wouldn't walk into a battle without protection would you?

Norton has plenty of options out there for us too! There is the most recently released Norton 360 and Norton Internet Security 2012. These give you great protection in your every day computer use and at an awesome price!

Check out the Norton options and let me know what you think! What Norton by Symantec product would you be most likely to use? Have you ever gotten a virus like I did, because you didn't have anti-virus software on your computer?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Untitled Jersey City Project for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you haven't heard about the Untitled Jersey City Project yet then you haven't been online recently. My friends have been nagging me for the past week or so to go watch the sneak peak videos that the creators of the up and coming show posted on the web.

Typically when I hear about Jersey City, I think tall hair, lots of bronzer, and fist pumping in the club. Boy did I just see a whole other side of it. I saw clearly why Untitled Jersey City Project has gone viral! There was action throughout the whole video with speed chases and fights which is unbelievable since these were just SNEAK PEAKS!!! The beautiful AUDI cars really caught my attention too. I was swaying from side-to-side as if I was in the passenger side of the car during the chase. Grrr.. what I would give just to take one of those out for a spin one day.

There was actually a plot to the show (which seems to be hard to find anymore). The plot was filled with action, money, fame, and power hungry people willing to do anything for what they want. Not to mention all the characters are like human eye candy. Larry, the apparent bad guy in the plot, puts mafia Godfathers to shame. Stopping at nothing to claim the city as his money playground. The two main character (both hawt) provide that romantic steam to keep it interesting and also gives those non-action watching women something to enjoy. Seriously, it's a future prize winning show to me.

The show is still a work in progress which now I am dying to see what comes next. Oh, don't fall off because it will probably hurt! (Gotta watch it to get the inside joke!) Check out the video and tell me what you though about it. Who is your favorite character? Do you like or dislike the plot? How about them cars too? Post your awesome comments down below! Your thoughts and feedback will be appreciated by others so they can see if it's for them or not.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of ampm for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Ever experienced the awesomeness of an ampm? I did today for lunch! Their clerks were friendly and the bathrooms were sparkly. I grabbed myself a corndog to go with the Pepsi Max that I won on their Facebook instant winnings contest called Too Much Good Stuff.

It took just a simple click of the like button on the top of the page, enter my email, and bam! There I went spinning that little give away machine like a kid in a candy store. As it spun round-and-round, I wondered if it would land on all three Pepsis to win one of 15,000 Pepsi Max drinks being given away... Or if it would land on the corndog which would entitle me to one of the 10,000 free corndogs that ampm is offering up to its customers!

All three of the pictures have to match up in order to win the prize. I saw..One Pepsi..Two Pepsi..Three

Pepsi Max! Yay! I won! Not only did I win the awesome Pepsi Max drink from ampm, I also was auto-entered into the sweepstakes. That could let me end up with something cool like an iPad, iPod, or a MacBook Air. OR!!! If I win the Grand Prize Drawing then I get get to go to party city Las Vegas.

Just in-case you didn't catch it all...short and sweet recap.

	1. Go to Too Much Good Stuff and press the like button.

	2. Play the instant win game for a Pepsi Max or a corndog.

	3. If you win scream like a little school girl.

	4. Wait to see if you win the Periodic Sweepstakes for Apple loot or the Grand Prize for a trip on the house to Las Vegas.

Sorry, gotta go to my nearest ampm to pick up a Thirst Oasis. It's so hot around here that a nice cold drink would be nice. With 24 flavors to choose from, crushed and cubed iced, and a condiment bar..Phew! I'm salivating already.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Net10 for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I never understood why mobile phone services are so scared of losing their customers that they have to make you sign a contract. What kind of service are you giving to need your customers locked up for two or more years at a time? My opinion is that they know there is a problem with the quality of both their phones and services.

That's where a phone service like Net10 shines above all the rest in my eyes. They prove to us that there is no reason to leave them. Net10 gives the customer good coverage, phones that are usable and affordable, and low cost plans for everyone. I was surprised to see that the Net10 unlimited talk, text, and data plans were only $50 a month! This is unheard of! My current plan is around $100 and that is not even unlimited. Now I see who really cares about my wallet.

Services like these are great for a business since it can be affordable to give your employees a phone to be reached on also to make sure you have service at all times in-case that big client decides to give you a ring while your in some obscure location. This service also works for your home life too. Worry about that teenager that is starting to ride around with their friends or need to make sure your spouse is reachable to tell them to pick up eggs from the store. No matter what the need for its use, there is no worries of racking up huge bills since you have so many options. Check out what one of their real customers had to say about the service. Real NET10 customer Also, look at this cute video of talking phones :) Cute NET10 commercial

Service starts with just 3 simple steps. Activate your phone. Add minutes. Talk. No waiting on hold for three hours just to get a sales rep or having someone pushing expensive phone services on you that can't be afforded on your budget. Net10 makes it easy for us with no contracts, no surprise bills, and no credit checks. Woot! The plans are easy to understand too. How much easier can it be than automatically loading 200 minutes for $15, Pay-As-You-Go plans, or unlimited plans that cost only $50. Minutes can be purchased online, in the store, or even from your phone. Net10 understands that some months are harder than others so they let their valued customers switch between plans with out penalties or fees. Not to mention, the Long distance services are only 15 cpm.

The first thing I look at, as a glorified techie, is the types of phones the carrier has to choose from. They have a broad range of choices from simple, yet useful for under $15 or a phone with camera/blue tooth/web for under $40 or even a high tech smartphones with full QWERTY keyboards, sliders, and touch screens for under $60. Who could complain with a selection like that?

Make sure to follow Net10 on Twitter and Facebook! Or check out some of these other neat videos about Net10.

		What Rob has to say

		See the Light

		10 Good Reasons

Ads that work!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of ClickBooth. All opinions are 100% mine.

The time has come for change in the world of advertising. As the changing technology grows at an alarming rate, we still are left in the dust when it comes to our monetization methods. Just stop, and think about it for a moment. Who do you use on your website? Are they really worth their stress? Affiliate marketing can seem scary to some people that think it is an industry full of scams, but this has changed. The feeling of security mixed with relief are to come when you let Clickbooth handle your monetization needs.

Clickbooth CPC lets you worry more about that adventure called “LIFE,” and less about what’s going on with your ads. Clickbooth has high quality ads that give you a nice payout for every click they receive. Not to mention, they also handle PPC and CPA marketing as well. Why would you even want to go elsewhere? Seems like a waste of time to even deal with another advertising network.

“High quality ads?” you may ask. Yes, with companies from small to large, and many are household names too. Have you ever heard of MSNBC.com, CNN.com, and ESPN.com? Well those are the kinds of ads they are supplying/will supply in the future.

When I see a Google ad it is completely noticeable without a second thought. Those ugly text based ads have become nothing more than annoying reminder of underdeveloped web design. I do love that you have nice professional ad that is tastefully and creatively done. Google Adwords and others better watch out! Google AdWords, Meet Your Competition: Clickbooth is taking over now!

Some are saying that this is the best version of Windows yet to come out. The sales have flabbergasted many people that were not expecting it to do all that good. Although there are a few quirks and problems with the system it has to be understood that there is no way to obtain perfection for everyone on an operating system since it is used by so many different types of people, and the time frame for which they allot for it to be built is minimal. Granted that many people were getting frustrated with the Vista and XP operating systems they have been pushed pretty heavily into buying this new one.

Online Shipping and clicking

Why go to a store when you can ship something online. Bubble wrap, Styrofoam, or Peanuts)
2. Make sure to use the correct sized box (when you shake the box nothing should rattle or move)
3. Properly tape the box to make sure there are no openings for things to fall out
4. Do not put tape on the corners because the tape can be torn off by convetor belts.
5. Make sure that you use the correct weight for the item or it can be sent back to you if too heavy.
6. Call your delivery company to schedule a pickup and they will get it from your home (most companies will do this free of charge)
7. Make sure the address is correct (you can never check too many times)
8. Properly insure the items to make sure that they will be covered in case of loss or damage.
9. If in doubt leave it to the professionals… take it into a delivery store for them to package and ship.
10. If box is not done correctly then the insurance will NOT pay out. Beware! (make sure there is at least 2inches of padding on all sides to insure properly padded)

Nexus One Videos

Everyone is waiting for the Nexus One to surface for everyone to see and learn about the new phone made by Google. Book reading has gone from parchment paper, to a book printed and bound, all the way to an e-book reader such as the Kindle. The internet has taken us so far in the technology age putting information and communication into our hands. The Apple Tablet might be the next huge development for us. Putting all of these together pushed us into a huge mobility age. The Iphone, Kindle, and laptop have all pushed us into this age, but the tablet could be the combination of all these in one bundle. Leaked sources close to Steve Jobs are saying that the new tablet is going to be a Kindle breaker and will start pushing people into the new era. Prepare to buy some Apple stocks!

5 days of Googleness

If you didn't noticed the new Google holiday postcard logo graphics that were up on their homepage then you can take a look here.

Google Takes On Discrimination

In attempts to stop discrimination google has started to change the way their searches work. Is this a good thing or a bad? With the amount of discrimination out there is there really a way to police the internet, or is it even fair to do it? If there is a way to make someone feel bad or demoralize someone then there is someone out there that will make a website for it. For instance there was a very disturbing picture of Michelle Obama being portrayed as an ape. Google has actually put out ads that were apologizing for this discreptency. This is neither necessary nor required of them to do this, but at the same time it gives them a good warm feeling inside while making us feel as though the enormous company is still being ran by a thoughtful bunch of people.

This was a good attempt to clean up some of that nastiness on the internet. The only thing that worries me about this is that I might be sensored as an individual with a thought process and opinion. It always starts with one bad egg then it ruins it for all the rest. Do we really want to leave this decision making and policing of the interwebs up to a corporation? For me, I don’t think so. If you don’t like what you are seeing or reading then close your eyes and walk through the world blindly. NO MATTER what you do or say there will always be someone that gets offended.

Microsoft Orchestra vs Apple Orchestra

Ever sat there looking at your ceiling and wondering what a song made of only sounds from Windows or Apple? Okay, well I might have been alone on this one, but figured that I would let you take a listen and tell me which you think is better! This surprised me to hear how good the music turned out. Not worthy of a standing ovation, but well worth a minute to listen then comment.

Microsoft Windows

Apple OS X

Google Phone leaked "Nexus One"

Of course, everyone is rambling on about the Nexus One phone. If you've been in a cave with Osama and haven't heard of it yet then I shall take a moment to explain. The Nexus One is the alleged name for the new Google phone that is being tested out at the moment by the Google employees.

This phone, which has been seen by only a handful of people, was labeled as the best of both worlds. With attributes from both the iPhone and Droid. The phone will be running off of the Android platform of course (duhh since it is Google's Mobile Operating System). This could be called the "Open Source Phone". Not only will the operating system (Android) be open source, but the phone will also be sold as an unlocked GSM phone.

With the phone being unlocked this will be one of the first phones to give us a true option in voice/data services. We won't be stuck with a 1 or 2-year service contract with a cellular company that we don't feel like is up to our standards. This was one huge problem with the iPhones and Droids. They tied you down when people don't want to be tied down. As technology is growing at a substantial rate and the mobile phone field being at the top of that list, you would think that companies would understand that an awesome unlocked phone would rule the entire mobile market.

Google's plan to dominate the world is coming true. Watch your back dear mister Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. I see this company squashing you and they don't even sell crap! They are only making money off of the advertisements that they sell off to companies. This is a win, win situation for the entire tech community. We don't spend money for awesome services, and they make money by sending prospective customers to companies.

Hopefully, the phone will also be integrated with their soon to come voip services. If we could get the free voip services, wave, and voice all put on one phone then everyone will be happy. It is also rumored that the Nexus One phone will be sold only at cost. They are not going to pull profits off of the phone, but make money off of mobile advertisements. Sounds like a good deal to me if this is true.

Here are some leaked pictures of the phone from TechCrunch
