I’ve enjoyed a few Joe Rogan podcasts over the years. That part is true and I won’t pretend otherwise. He could sit a guest down, let them talk, and sometimes something interesting fell out. That was never the problem.

The problem was the company he kept.

I clocked it early. Too many Zionists circling the studio, too much warmth for the same orbit, too much of that “just asking questions” act that somehow never asked the ones that matter. Once a man is befriended by that crowd he is no longer roaming free. He is captured. He can still growl about vaccines, CIA, Big Tech, whatever the week’s permitted heresy is. The fence just moved.

The moon landings were the tell. Rogan spent years sounding like a man who could smell a studio set. Then he walked it back. Talked to the approved scientists, discovered confirmation bias, discovered he’d been naughty for noticing the wires. When a man retreats from a position that costs him nothing with the official story and everything with the people who own the room, you are no longer watching a curious ape. You are watching a managed one.

So when The Elephant Graveyard dropped How Comedy Drowned in a Radioactive Cesspool of Corruption and Depravity, I did not need converting. I needed the film of the body.

It has torn through the internet because it does the one thing Rogan’s entire ecosystem is built not to do: it looks at the comedy and says there isn’t any.

Rogan is not a comedian. He is a former Fear Factor host who built a court and declared himself Czar. The film takes that court apart with a patience that is almost cruel. Tony Hinchcliffe, Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Duncan Trussell, the whole Austin boarding school of grown men who discovered that proximity to Joe is a career and an identity. Loyalty first, jokes if there’s time. There usually isn’t.

Elephant Graveyard works like Adam Curtis if Curtis had spent a decade in comedy basements and come out meaner. Collage, repetition, the same clips until the pattern stops being deniable. Rogan as the man who once built a reputation calling out Carlos Mencia for stealing jokes, then spent the next twenty years constructing a walled garden where originality is optional and access is everything while finally stealing jokes for his Netflix special which is execrable comedy. The Mothership is not a club. It is a habitat.

Then the film does the useful thing and follows the money upstairs. Peter Thiel. The dinner circuit. The “let me introduce you to fascinating people” routine. Epstein’s shadow hanging over the same class of men who lecture the rest of us about courage. Bilderberg, the thing Rogan used to treat as a punchline for the paranoid, now sitting in the same neighbourhood as the podcast table. You do not have to swallow every leap. You only have to notice that the man who sold himself as the last honest bro in the media is now socially and financially entangled with the people who buy reality in bulk.

That is capture. Not a secret handshake in a smoke-filled room. Just the slow, flattering process of being let in.

The Zionist piece fits the same shape. You can platform the occasional Palestinian voice now that the polling has moved. You can say Israel is “insane” once it is cheap. That is not courage. Courage would have been saying it when the guests on the couch still needed you to keep quiet. The walk-back on the moon was the same muscle: the moment the cost of the unofficial story exceeded the pleasure of telling it.

I do not need Joe to be a Bond villain. I need him to be what he is: a failed comic who lucked into the biggest microphone on earth, then staffed the green room with people even less funny than he is, then let the rich and the connected treat that microphone like a PR release.

Elephant Graveyard has made the most useful film about that arrangement in years. It is long. It is savage. It is occasionally unhinged in the way honest work about power often is. Watch it anyway. Then ask yourself how many hours you gave a man who could not survive ten minutes of his own act without the friends, the money, and the fence.

Peter Rambo says he’s an amateur. Fine. After twenty years of YouTube documentaries — the glossy ones with the wrong conclusions and the earnest ones with no spine — his 2½-hour film is still one of the best things I’ve sat through. Not because the cuts are fancy. Because the story telling and the thinking are clean. His voiceover is also exceptional.

That’s rare.

I’ve been circling simulation theory for a while. Lately the circling has turned into interrogation. Nick Bostrom’s 2003 argument is tidy on paper: if a civilisation can run ancestor simulations, and it runs a lot of them, then the statistical weight of minds like ours sits inside the fake worlds, not the base one. Elegant. Also incomplete. It never properly collides with the hard problem of consciousness. You can simulate a nervous system that *behaves*. You have not thereby explained why there is something it is like to *be* that system. Bostrom treats consciousness as a load-bearing brick and then builds a skyscraper on it. Chalmers of the hard problem is still standing in the basement asking who poured the concrete.

Which brings us to Elon.

He talks as if the odds we are in base reality are one in billions. He also wants to seed this place with more consciousness — Mars, the stars, a multiplanetary species so the light doesn’t go out. I put the contradiction to him directly:

If the house is rendered, furnishing the attic is expensive. Unless the point of the sim *is* the furnishing. In which case he isn’t a colonist. We're all subroutines with messiah complexes. That might even be the cosmic giggle..

The documentary triggered a lot of information in me. The one that actually resolved something for wasn’t quantum Woo or Mandela-effect thesis. It was the old heresy I thought I’d already thrown out.

When I first went into the Gnostics properly, their central claim felt like storytelling with a hole in it. We live in the world of a false god — the demiurge, Yaldabaoth, the blind craftsman who makes matter and then announces he is the only God. The real God, the fullness, the Pleroma, is elsewhere. Souls are sparks trapped in the machinery. Knowledge, *gnosis*, is the jailbreak.

I discarded it. Not because it was ugly. But because the absence of the real God *inside* the narrative made the whole thing smell like a myth that had no author. A prison story with no warden we can name is just atmosphere.

What I hadn’t seen — and the film made unavoidable — is how cleanly that map sits on simulation theory and on *The Matrix*.

Yaldabaoth is the Architect. Not God. A mid-level operator who built a closed system, forgot or never knew what sat above him, and now polices the permissions. The archons are the Agents: enforcers of the local physics, allergic to anyone who starts looking at the source code. The divine spark is whatever it is in us that isn’t exhausted by the render — the bit Bostrom’s paper waves through without paying for. The red pill is gnosis with better product design. Morpheus is a second-century sectarian who got a leather coat.

Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. Hollywood didn’t invent the plot. It put a trench coat on a second-century metaphysics and sold the tickets.

The same weather system blows through Manichaeism and, in a different key, Zoroastrianism. Light against darkness. A world that is not what it pretends to be. Particles of the real thing scattered through a counterfeit. Mani is the closer cousin: light imprisoned in matter, waiting to be collected. Classical Zoroastrianism is less hostile to creation itself - Ahura Mazda actually *means* the world — but the dual structure is there: a good source, a corrupting adversary, a long war over what this place is for. The Gnostics radicalised the Persian split and then the Wachowskis digitised the Gnostics. We congratulated ourselves for being modern.

I don’t need the documentary to “prove” we are in a simulation. Proof is the wrong currency. What it did was stop me treating the Gnostic story as disposable folklore. It isn’t a rival to simulation theory. It is simulation theory before we had computers to hide behind.

The real God isn’t missing from the narrative. It’s the thing the simulation cannot render. That’s why the demiurge sounds so loud.It’s the only voice the speakers can play.

Whether we take that as theology, metaphysics, or as a very old bug report is your choice. I’m just no longer pretending the two maps are different countries.

The human soul contains divine light that is trapped inside the corrupt material body.

Andrew Wilson on behalf of TPUSA paid serious money to debate Candace Owens over whether Tyler Robinson shot Charlie Kirk or was installed as a patsy. What we got was three-plus hours of two people talking past each other in structurally different languages.

Wilson ran the classic inductive package. Surveillance images, DNA/prints, texts, timeline, the whole stack. He treated each piece as mutually reinforcing. The photographs identify Robinson, the physical evidence links him to the rifle, the messages show motive or confession, and the accumulation becomes “overwhelming.” The problem is that he never seriously internalised the possibility that the *entire stack* could be fabricated or curated by a multi-player entity — call it the deep state, the apparatus, whatever label you prefer. Once you grant that possibility, the cumulative effect evaporates. A useless or misidentified photograph does not become stronger because it is placed next to a degraded print and a contested text. It just sits there looking like another planted prop. Wilson kept treating the evidence as if it existed in a clean epistemic vacuum rather than inside a system capable of manufacturing narratives. That is the blind spot he never closed.

Candace, for her part, was stymied by the classic burden of proving a negative. Showing that the state’s identification is shaky, that the timeline is absurd, or that key pieces are degraded is relatively straightforward. Turning those holes into *affirmative proof* that Robinson was deliberately framed as the shooter is a much heavier lift. You cannot simply exhaust every alternative and declare victory. Absence of clean evidence is not the same as evidence of a frame-up. She spent most of the night in the first mode while claiming the second, which left her open to the charge that she was arguing reasonable doubt while advertising “overwhelming evidence of patsy.” That structural gap is real.

And yet the debate was won on a different axis entirely.

Wilson kept calling the case against Robinson overwhelming. When pressed on probability he landed somewhere in the 75–85% range. That is not overwhelming. That is “pretty likely, but I wouldn’t bet the house.” Then Candace asked him to name the actual charges. He could not. The man defending the “overwhelming” state case against Tyler Robinson could not list the seven counts. She rattled them off from memory. Aggravated murder, felony discharge of a weapon, obstruction, witness tampering, violence in the presence of a minor — the full slate. He sat there unable to name one while simultaneously claiming the evidence package was decisive.

That moment was fatal. You cannot credibly police someone else’s theory of the case when you do not even know what the formal accusations are. The combination of inflated language (“overwhelming”), a non-overwhelming probability estimate, and basic ignorance of the charging document collapsed the posture. Candace did not need to prove the deep-state frame-up in that instant. She only needed to show that the man selling certainty had not done the homework.

The rest of the night was secondary. Wilson never absorbed that his inductive chain lives or dies on the assumption that the evidence was not manufactured. Candace never fully escaped the difficulty of proving a negative. But the optics, the preparation gap, and the direct hit on the charges decided it for her.
