<p>We all made it through another week!  And since we are heading out of town for <a href="http://blendretreat.com/" target="_blank">Blend </a>we did our best to clean out the fridge.  We also did our best to get work done yesterday but to be honest our mind was already in vacation mode. It was hard to concentrate as all we wanted to do was pack and get on a plane <img src='http://purelytwins.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' />   (currently on the plane &#8211; HI from the sky!)</p>

<p>We did get up early to get a good workout in.</p>
<p>We did a 5 minute plank as our warm-up to get the body (and upper body) ready for the arm bust out that was next.  Which did you see our <a href="http://purelytwins.com/2013/05/16/welcome-to-q-and-a-with-the-twins/" target="_blank">newest video talking about our new series for our youtube channel</a>?</p>

<p>How is everyone doing today? We hope you answered &#8211; great!</p>
<p>Our day yesterday was just superb.  Maybe it was that it was hot and sunny. Or maybe because we are getting closer to going to <a href="http://blendretreat.com/" target="_blank">Blend</a>. Or maybe it was that we enjoyed the perfect creamy protein shake.</p>
<p>Maybe it was a combo of everything.  Anyways we had excellent day.  Love those days when you just feel good all day long and you don&#8217;t let anything upset you. Anyone else?</p>

<p>To add to our feel good day we filmed another <a href="http://purelytwins.com/category/purelyfitlife/" target="_blank">#purelyfitlife workout</a> late afternoon. We did not workout first thing in the morning like we normally do. Even though we enjoy working out in the daylight we do love getting our workouts done first thing in the morning. But changing it up is fun too.</p>
<h2>We also did our 50 push-ups for Michelle&#8217;s personal goal for <a href="http://whatsbeautiful.ua.com/team/247" target="_blank">#whatsbeatiful </a>and did practice our headstands for my personal goal. #iwill or should we say #wewill haha</h2>
<p>How is everyone else doing with your personal #whatsbeautiful goal? Are you keeping track everyday. Hopefully you are getting motivated and inspired by <a href="http://whatsbeautiful.ua.com/team/247" target="_blank">following our team</a> as well as all the other amazing people doing the challenge!</p>

<p>Girl chats are the best, right? Where you can talk about anything, laugh, and just be you without trying to impress. We are lucky to have many friends where we can just be us, and today&#8217;s post is from one of them. <a href="http://afoodiestaysfit.com/" target="_blank">Teri</a> is a dear friend, which we are lucky to live somewhat near her and <a href="http://purelytwins.com/2013/03/25/wine-tasting-with-teri-daveste-vineyards/" target="_blank">get together</a> when our busy schedules allow it!</p>

<p>Happy Birthday Lori &amp; Michelle! I&#8217;m so excited to participate in your life lessons series&#8230;what a cool idea.</p>
<p>One of the most important life lessons I&#8217;ve learned is &#8220;You Never Know.&#8221; The past couple of years have been a bit of a doozy for me personally. Things have been h-a-r-d. Luckily I&#8217;ve had supportive family and great friends (like Lori and Michelle!) to get me through some rough spots.</p>
<p>But through the experience, I learned that you just never know what someone is going through and they might need delicate handling. You don&#8217;t know if they&#8217;ve recently lost a loved one, lost their job, lost their spouse, lost their self-esteem. You just never know what life crisis they may be experiening. So I&#8217;ve tried to be a little kinder, be a little more understanding when I get frustrated with friends or coworkers or complete strangers.</p>
<p>Be kind. Don&#8217;t be quick to pass judgment. Don&#8217;t expect explanations. Give people the benefit of the doubt.</p>
<p>Because you just never know.</p>

<p>We have been getting some questions on why we are eating the certain things we are &#8212; mainly our carbs. We hope to dive into that topic some today.</p>

<p>Yesterday we did our <a href="http://purelytwins.com/2013/04/08/purely-fit-life-workout-15-minute-interval-hiit-workout/" target="_blank">#purelyfitlife #5 our 15 minute HIIT interval workout</a> to start our extremely LONG day.  We were very productive yesterday and feel so proud of ourselves. More on that below.</p>

<p>Our day yesterday.  We enjoyed some warm lemon water to get things started.</p>
<p>We tend to eat our breakfast at least an hour after working out. We have been playing around with post workout meal times to see if we notice any changes. So far nothing major yet.</p>

<p>Our good friend <a href="http://www.cottercrunch.com/" target="_blank">Lindsay</a> discusses an important topic. We always learn so much from her &#8211; we learn more to be patient, but do crazy things&#8230;push yourself, yet respect yourself.  And most importantly have FAITH.</p>

<p>I’m thrilled to be here today, celebrating LIFE with Lori and Michelle. These two women are so special to me and I am excited for them to embrace the big 30!! Heck, I am right there with them. I’ll be 30 in 2 months! EEK!</p>

<p>But turning 30 is a good thing. In fact, it’s JOYOUS Your 20’s are where you go through a whole lotta trial and error and end up worrying WAY too much about silly things. Well, at least I did. You see, ever since I was a teenage girl, my dad would tell me “Linz, don’t sweat the small stuff.” For some reason those words stuck with me but I didn’t start to understand what he meant by “small stuff” until I was married. Ha, better late than never, right?</p>

<p>But it truly is the small stuff that holds us back, the small things that feed into worry/fear/self-doubt. These things tend  to add up if you don’t learn to LET GO and LET GOD direct you path.</p>

<p>Money, health, career.. .. these are all important things, but they are also small things that sometimes we have NO CONTROL OVER.</p>
<p>LOVE, LAUGHTER, LIFE, WELLNESS, and DREAMS. Yes, those are good replacements.</p>
<p>So we might not be able to control the so called “small stuff,” but we can learn how to react to them. It’s the thought whole perspective thing.</p>
<p>Is money worth arguing over? Are injuries worth ruining your future health? Is a miserable job worth the security? Hmm.. I believer we need to LET GO and…</p>

And having faith that everything happens for a reason and that everything will be okay!</p>

<p><em>And we wanted to say we apologize for our <a href="http://purelytwins.com/2013/05/13/best-ab-homeworkout-women-solid-ab-routine/" target="_blank">new #purelyfitlife six pack ab workout and video</a> did not get up till 10pm last night. We had some internet and computer issues. But hopefully everything is taken care of. Thanks for your patience. </em></p>
<p>Ever since doing our <a href="http://purelytwins.com/category/healing-the-gut/" target="_blank">30 day gut healing journey</a> it opened up our eyes to understanding and taking care of our gut. Since everything starts in the gut it is important to take care of it.  We are not 100% healed yet but we are SOOOO much better now. Our digestion is overall strong (most days) and our skin issues are slowly being figured out. More on that below.</p>
