Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment yesterday at the age of 27. I thought it would be interesting for PurpleCast Blogs to post the other members of this prestigous group of rock singers to the site.

1. Jimi Hendrix, Born Novermber 27, 1942 and died in a London Flat by asphyxiation caused by drinking red wine and swallowing several sleeping pills on September 18, 1970

2. Jim Morrison, Born December 8, 1943 and died July 3, 1971 in a bathtub in Paris, France when his heart stopped from an apparent heroin overdose.

3. Brian Jones, original lead guitarist for the Rolling Stones. Born February 28, 1942 and died July 3, 1969 At around midnight on the night of 2–3 July 1969, Jones was discovered motionless at the bottom of his swimming pool at Cotchford Farm. His Swedish girlfriend, Anna Wohlin, was convinced he was alive when they took him out, insisting he still had a pulse. However, by the time the doctors arrived, it was too late, and he was pronounced dead. The coroner's report stated "death by misadventure", and noted his liver and heart were heavily enlarged by drug and alcohol abuse. Note he died on the same day Jim Morrison did just 4 years prior.

4. Kurt Cobain, Born February 20, 1967 and died April 5, 1994 from an suspected suicide from a shtogun wound. On April 8, 1994, Cobain's body was discovered at his Lake Washington home by an electrician who had arrived to install a security system. Apart from a minor amount of blood coming out of Cobain's ear, the electrician reported seeing no visible signs of trauma, and initially believed that Cobain was asleep until he saw the shotgun pointing at his chin. A suicide note was found, addressed to Cobain's childhood imaginary friend "Boddah", that said, paraphrasing, "I haven't felt the excitement of listening to as well as creating music, along with really writing . . . for too many years now". A high concentration of heroin and traces of Valium were also found in his body. Cobain's body had been lying there for days; the coroner's report estimated Cobain to have died on April 5, 1994.

5. Janis Joplin, Born January 19, 1943 and died on October 4, 1970 from a heroin overdose. he last recordings Joplin completed were on October 1, 1970 — "Mercedes Benz" and a birthday greeting for John Lennon, the Dale Evans "Happy Trails." Lennon, whose birthday was October 9, later told Dick Cavett that her taped greeting arrived at his home after her death. She was found dead in her hotel room beside her bed from an apparent overdose combined with a mix of alcohol.

6. Amy Winehouse, born September 14, 1983 and died July 23, 2011 from unknown causes in her London apartment.

7. , Born May 8, 1911 and died August 16, 1938 . Differing accounts and theories attempt to shed light on the events preceding his death. A story often told is that one evening Johnson began flirting with a woman at a dance, the wife of the juke joint owner, according to rumor, unaware that the bottle of whiskey she gave to Johnson had been poisoned by her husband. In another version, she was a married woman unrelated to the juke joint owner. Johnson was allegedly offered an open bottle of whiskey that was laced with strychnine. Fellow blues legend Sonny Boy Williamson allegedly advised him never to drink from an offered bottle that had already been opened. According to Williamson, Johnson replied, "Don't ever knock a bottle out of my hand." Soon after, he was offered another open bottle of whiskey, also laced with strychnine, and accepted it. Johnson is reported to have begun feeling ill the evening after drinking from the bottle and had to be helped back to his room in the early morning hours. Over the next three days, his condition steadily worsened and witnesses reported that he died in a convulsive state of severe pain—symptoms which are consistent with strychnine poisoning.

A song from the Civil-Rights period of soul and funk, this Parliament song speaks to the population as much today as it did during the time of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. When will people start to understand to help each other, even if they look different or live in a poorer country, deserved to be helped because it is the right thing to do. War is not the answer to start progressing, it can only lead to more destruction and destabilization. This song is a commentary about how people could come together and learn to love one another but are too occupied with the common luxuries of social lifestyle. During the time this song was written the Black Panther Party was preaching revolution and Vietnam was stirring up a lot of war cheering. Parliament pointed out that happiness and peace was becoming more and more unattainable within a world obsessed with violence.

This song is viewed by many as a tribute to his death and the music he left behind. "Mother nature is pregnant for the third time for y'all have knocked her up. I have tasted the maggots in the mind of the universe, I was not offended. For I knew I had to rise above it all or drown in my own Shit!." Still a relevant statement today, perhaps one of the most emotional guitar songs ever recorded to follow these wise words.

Paul McCartney is Dead?

Although there is a wide variety of videos to select from regarding this topic I have selected three that illustrate several aspects of the consipiracy. Purple Cast will review the recent documentary film "Paul McCartney Really is Dead: The Last Testament of George Harrison" on the first episode and analyze the claims of the voice claiming to be the deceased Beatle.

The first video is a song written by the "faul" or the fake Paul McCartney on a televison show apparently on the spot. An editor by the name Iamaphoney remixed the song and added a video compilation of various clues to Paul McCartney's height and shoe size. Although these clues are speculative they provide observations of physical characteristics that do not change drastically in a matter of months after the age of 24. The second video is a song written by Terry Knight released on the same publishing company as Lennon/McCartney called Maclen, which is the U.S. version of Northern Songs. By the way it is the only other none Beatle song to be published under this name. The song melds several beatles tunes together to tell a story of Terry Knight's experience working with the Beatles during the White Album. The third video is an interview of "Faul McCartney" on David Letterman's show about this very topic. It is important to notice the way McCartney is acting and his frequent touching of the nose to indicate lying. He also looks away when asked about the conspiracy and makes a joke to lighten the mood.

The statement about the Abbey Road cover where he arrived with sandals on and decided to walk across a dark pavement road with bare feet because it was hot seems absurd. The theory of that cover is that John is dressed in white as the messiah, Ringo the Paul bearer, Faul the corpse, and George the Gravedigger. Paul is also the only one stepping with is right foot first while the others are stepping with the left foot. Paul is out of sync with the rest of the group and this is symbolized not just in this album but going back to Sgt. Pepper. The theory is that Paul died on November 9, 1966 in a car crash and the Beatles made a pact to replace McCartney and continue the group to avoid mass suicides of fans obsessed with the band. The clues of the imposter were subsequently placed within songs and albums covers, as well as back masking to hide clues that could only be played when listened to backwards. All of these effects do not begin until Sgt. Pepper and continue until Let it Be. We will all be magic supermen, turn me on dead man, and it was a fake mustache are only three examples of messages put in songs through back masking.

Although these are only three obscure videos about the conspiracy they sparked my interest and relates to any Beatles fan that is further interested in the topic. PurpleCast blogs are meant to be a plat form for generating conversation about similar conspiracy related topics. Don't just take our word for it, do your own research as well and make your own informed statements to have a productive conversation about unknown hoaxes, conspiracies, and mysteries.
