Follow the trends: Are Start a New Trend?

For a musician to set themselves apart from other musicians they need to follow their own interests and

not attempt to copy another musicians style. Most popular artists did not attempt to mimic other artists

although they did studied their favored. It is possible to do things your own way without trying to mimic

other artists. There are so many artists that have the same sound and look. In this new era of music, I think it is safe to say "time to start new trends."

Think twice:Thinking About Becoming a Singer or Rapper?

2011-11-07T10:21:00.001-05:00

It’s not as easy as it seems to become the next big star. We all have seen the lavish lifestyles some celebrities flaunt around. With newbie rappers and singers only seeing dollars signs, they are jumping into an industry that is strictly about business. With the advent of reality TV, it seems like anyone can become a star over-night. But the reality is that it takes hard work and dedication to become successful in this industry. Many of your favorite artists have sung and performed for years before "breaking in" to the business. Others pounded the pavement with demos or building a strong support system. However, just trying to get music executives to listen to your work is impossible.

With all of this being said, I cannot wait to share tips and other artists experience with being successful in this industry. Remember, things are never as easy as they seem.

This album has received mixed reviews, but I have several favorite songs off "4" which was released last Tuesday on June 28, 2011. Many people have said that this is Beyonce best album since her "Dangerously in Love" album was release in 2003. Beyonce surely is an example of hard work paying off.

Scientists Answered:The Season of Deadly Tornadoes

2011-05-27T10:29:00.000-04:00

First, our prayers goes out to all of the people that experience this year disaster tornadoes. This has been one of the storming years of tornadoes touching down. The La Niña may be able to help us understand the reason for all of this. La Niña is defined as unusually cold temperatures in the eastern equatorial Pacific sea surface. When combined with the warmer temperatures in the Gulf of Mexico, the trapped air begins to rotate horizontally between the two air masses and a tornado is formed. The difference between La Niña and an "average" tornado is that La Niña distinguishes itself by exceedingly colder ocean temperatures and a more vigorous jet stream. Scientists have concluded that this may be the reason for the record number of tornadoes we've seen this spring.

Simple but Effective Event Planning Tips

2011-05-25T10:38:00.002-04:00

There are many ways to market events such as concerts, contests, or other types of performances. There are still the classic methods, such as hiring a marketing team or buying radio and television time. However, these are expensive and time consuming. More commonly, events can be marketed with social networking sites such as Facebook through the creation of "events" or "groups" which provide the information about the event you are trying to publicize. On the other hand, the true method of putting up fliers should not be ignored. If you have already been successful at generating a fair amount of interest for your event, you can increase publicity by giving away tickets on the radio or offering door prizes.
