If you really knew just how powerful you are, you would let nothing get into the way of creating the most empowering, amazing, life experience.

We have been taught from an early age that we are small and insignificant, and that we are to look up too, and even worship those whom have placed themselves in seeming places of knowledge and power.  We have been bombarded with rules and laws intended to limit our experience, and many of them are professed to come from God.  As if God wants you to be limited and small, this is almost laughable, yet many of us have bought the story.

You Did Not Come Here To Please Anyone Else 

You came here to please yourself, you and only you,  because unless you are in a place of happiness and joy, you have nothing to offer anyone else anyway.  There is no end to the demands and aggression of those that think that they will be happier if you behave in a way that pleases them.  Yet, they will never truly be pleased because you do not have the power to create in their reality. If you continually try to please them you are doing them a great disservice by letting them continue to think that their happiness can be achieved by controlling something outside of themselves.

The experiences of every single person on the planet can only be effected from within,  and only by their own thoughts and beliefs.  This includes you, there is no force, or organization,  law,  government, or religion that has any power over you whatsoever.  You are an infinite being, and have the same full access to the laws of the universe as every other person on the planet. There is no such thing as more powerful or less powerful, we are all equal and connected. we are one.

Your function as a relative component of the oneness that we are, is to flow your energy into a creative positive force that impacts the whole in an expansive and empowering way that uplifts all whom are in contact with it.  This is the way to experience unspeakable joy in everyday of your life here, and to model that joy filled experience everywhere you go.  There is no greater gift you can give to anyone.

The Song In Your Heart

The song in your heart knows the way to your greatest joy and is singing that song endlessly.  So why is it that so many of us do not listen?  We get caught up in the rules and boundaries that we have come to adopt on our physical journey, most which have been passed down for a very long time and come from the beliefs and fears of others.  Yet it is not that others have created rules that imprison us, it is that we have agreed and internalized them as our own.  All our limitations are our own doing, no exceptions.

Your heart knows the difference between the thoughts and beliefs that serve your greatest good and the ones that take you in the opposite direction.  The mode it uses to comunicate that to your awareness is your emotions.  When you are feeling positive emotion you can be sure your thoughts are taking you in the direction of your greatest joy and contribution. When you are feeling negative emotion your heart is telling you that what you are thinking in that moment, whether consciously or not,  is moving away from your greatest good and the greatest good of everyone else on the planet.

Life is a shared experience

Those who know me will tell you that one of my favorite sayings is that “It is none of my business what others think about me”.  This is true to extent that I let what others may or may not think about me stop me from doing things I want to do, or living my life in a way that feels good to me. When I let go of my need to please others then I open the door to living an inspired life based in my own intentions and desires.

That being said,  I live on a planet that I share with 6 billion others and am regularly bumping up against other people and events that are seemingly out of alignment with the life experience that feels right for me.  Many of them, especially the ones I am in close relationship with will demand that I live my life in a way that helps them to feel good by supporting their beliefs on how life is.

To try conform to what others or even society wants does not really serve those for whom I am trying to please because by doing so I only create reliance on my actions by others and rob them of their own individuality and opportunities to grow.  This also takes me out of my connection to source energy and places me in a position that I have nothing of any value to give to another anyway.

We Are All Connected

The evidence of our connectedness is around us always.  The phone rings and before we answer we already know who it is.  I think of someone I have not seen in a while and I bump into them at the mall.  I am making negative judgements about someone and the next time I see them they are cold and distant, even though I did not make it known what I was thinking.

There is no such thing as private thoughts and so the others in my experience are always reflecting back to me the predominance of what I am thinking and feeling.  When you think thoughts such as “I am not enough” then the others in my experience will respond with you are not enough and are not pleasing me.  The opposite is also true.

This is still just feedback and is information telling me were I need to do some work.  What others think about me or how they respond to me is always a reflection of my own thoughts and beliefs about myself.  The Fantasy that many of us have is that we can disconnect ourselves from others and somehow avoid the pain of our own disconnected thoughts.  This is like throwing your road map out the window while driving in an unfamiliar place.

Feel Good Now

When my dominate thought is to feel as good as is possible for me in any given moment then I can embrace what others say and do as opportunities to move my thoughts in a good feeling direction.  When someone reflects back to me something that does not feel good then I am in a position to look at the underlying belief within me that is out of accord with my intention to feel good.  I can then work with it,  and soften the belief and with time and practice I can let it go.  This is the work.

I can tell when I am making progress by noticing that a subject that at one time caused me much discomfort, no longer even comes up in my interactions with others.  With each belief that I shift to a more empowering and good felling place the better I feel more of the time.  The better I feel more of the time will tend to attract people and events that feel better more of the time, because the feedback from the thoughts I am putting out will be coming back to their source, which is me.

Now you know the secret to a rich, full, experience of life, where you can attract anything and anyone you want.  It is such a wonderfully easy and fun process that you will wonder how you ever did your life before.

There is nothing to push against, there is nothing to strive for, there is nothing to complete, you are already much more than enough.  There is only well being and it flows endlessly around and through you always.  You come from and are always connected to pure positive energy and only you can allow or restrict it.

Then Why Do People Suffer?

 We only suffer when we pinch off the flow of well being that naturally flows.  When we watch the new born babies that are here fresh out of the pure positive energy, the simplest things can make them laugh and smile.  They have not yet been taught about scarcity and emotional pain. Really, what do they have to be happy about?  They have no job, no way to feed and house themselves, and are completely dependant upon strangers for all their needs.

The reason we suffer is because we have bought the story of suffering,  and once we buy it, we start selling it to anyone who will listen.  This is the grand illusion that taints your every human experience.  We are taught by those that have bought the story that life is pain and struggle and full of danger and that we need to be protected from it.  I ask you, what Loving father would send his children to such a place?

To let go of the belief in suffering is really just a simple remembering of the truth that you knew before you came here.  When I remember that all is well and that everything that happens to me is for my growth and expansion.  I become truly free to create a harmonious, joy filled, connected experience of life that will attract a multitude of joy filled people, and events into my life.

If my life is not what I want it to be, then somewhere along the way I made a judgement that started me in a direction away from what I wanted.  Fortunately at any point I can make a new choice, tell a new story, about what things mean and get back to going in a direction that serves me.

It’s Only Make Belief

It occurred to me that when someone makes up a story that is not true we call it “Make belief”.  This would insinuate that the intent behind a made up story is to get us to believe something that was not necessarily true.  For example;  All you need to do is to meet your Prince or Princess Charming, get married and you will live happily ever after.  Does anyone out there, know anyone who has actually had this experience?

So not only do I have my own judgements muddying the waters of my experience, I also have a constant flow of mostly false information about how life is, that comes from others. The good news is that we all have a naturally built-in guidance system that lets us know if a judgement or belief is moving us toward or away from our highest self and greatest joy.

Nothing Is Good Or Bad But Thinking Makes It So 

It is not the events in my life that are good or bad, it is my judgement of them of good or bad that creates my experience.  It is then my emotions that let me know in which direction my judgements are leading me.  When I have an experience that feels bad,  my negative emotions are telling me that the way that I am seeing the event is not serving me, and is giving me the opportunity to make a new choice that does.

As I rework my judgement from negative to positive emotion, I am literally rewriting my story and setting myself up for more positive events in my future.  Not long after I start using this process, I come to know that all experiences serve me and that the ones that cause me the most pain offer the greatest opportunities to shift my thinking and impact my life in a positive way.

If I think that there are, or should be rules around relationships, then I am the one in fantasy and have preset the path to my own pain filled experience.  The bottom line is that rules are an attempt to get something or to control a situation and if I am going into relationships with the intention to get something or to control another, I am out of alignment with Love and am setting myself up to be disappointed.  

Only when I come from a place of no expectation and unconditional acceptance do I open my heart to experience full connection.  When I place rules in front of me it is like building a wall around my heart and even if the other person Loves me deeply, I will not let that experience in, and will ultimately feel alone, unloved and misunderstood.

When I open my heart and Love without expectation then I have no need even of that love being returned,  although this is the only way that it will be.  I cannot Love others unconditionally with out experiencing unconditional Love flowing back to me,  as I give so shall I receive.  My experience of being Loved is not dependant on the Love of others,  it depends on me Loving and expressing that Love to all,  and as I do that,  so will be the experience of Love that flows back to me.  

So How Do I Love Someone?

 To truly Love someone requires me to get clear on my intentions,  and to define what “I Love you” really means.  For me it means that I want you to be happy,  I want you to be free,  I want you to have the most amazing and productive life experience,  I want to be the reason you smile, and laugh, and sing,  I want your life to be full of unspeakable joy.

So stop trying to get something from your relationships and start trying only to give.  Stop trying to get the other person to fill your Love cup and start filling your own.  Stop looking for the things that separate you and start looking for the things that bring you closer.  Focus only on the traits you love and  look for their greatness,  for it is there to be found. Ignore shortcomings and they will disappear.

Do this and watch your relationship joy, and experience of Love, expand without end.  When your partner is free to to be themselves without fear of negative judgement then they are free to become all they can be and how could they not respond to that, with love and appreciation.  And who in their right mind could ever walk away from that, or seek to fill their need for Love with someone else.

Love is not something we do, It is what we are at our core, it is the energy that creates this entire experience we call life.  In action it is “Unconditional acceptance” which means that I allow that which is, to be.  I accept all beings, all things, and all events as they are and do not need anything or anyone to change for me to experience peace and happiness. Can you feel the power in that?

Of course our ego and those that live and lead from a place of fear (Loves opposite) will tell you that to open your heart is to leave yourself vulnerable to attack and painful experience.  I say the opposite is true.  The pain and attack I experience around Love is always because I am trying to close off my heart, always centered around my conditions on how people or things SHOULD be.

I need only to acknowledge my ego, and those whom would want me to be fearful.  I mentally send them my Love, accept them as they are, nothing needs to change.  Be thankful that they too have the free will to believe, and do, what they choose.  I do not need to agree with someone to Love them.

For me when I say I love you, I mean that, I want you to be happy, I want you to Succeed at everything you do, I want your life to be an amazing adventure of your choosing, whether that adventure includes me or not. This is power and from this place you can only heal, and no one else will ever be in a position to hurt you ever again.

The journey toward God is inward, past the layers of illusions and judgements that we ourselves have placed in our way.   We are born knowing the truth.  At birth we are still very much aware of being connected to our source.  Yet it does not take long after we enter the world of ego’s that we start to forget who we are.  We soon learn that who we are in truth is not well accepted or cherished in this human experience.

From that point the vast majority of us tend to create an image of who we think will be accepted within the environment that we find ourselves in.  Creating an image seems to at least for a while give us a certain amount relief from the judgement of others, yet the truth of who we are can never be fully replaced.  Deep down we know the truth and that truth keeps trying to come out, the more we suppress it the more it comes to our awareness and the more pain we experience within our inner struggle.

Getting back to reality

In the hit show The X factor, this is what they are looking for;  some one that is so totally embracing their connection with the God force within them that it radiates in all they do. When we fully embrace our true self then it is natural for us to connect and share ourselves fully all others on the planet.  It is also natural for others to be drawn to us and what we are doing.

It is the same thing that creates rock stars that brings us closer to God and connects us to each other.  I think it was Rumi that said “If you bring forth that which is in you it will save you. If you do not bring forth that which is in you it will destroy you”.  I think the destroy part is going a little far, yet for sure what is within us is what will bring us to success, abundance, and joy.

When we let the light that is within us shine it is like a beacon of hope to all that come within its glow.  This occurs whether we believe in God or not, because ultimately we are God, so to believe in ourselves, is to believe in God.  Stop looking for God where he is not, and start allowing the light that is already glowing inside you to come out and enlighten the world.  The rewards of this is beyond all you have ever known.

My first teacher in this regard was my mom, from the age of 0 to 5 yrs old I was taught that life was about pain, and suffering, and that if you suffered enough you might by the grace of God find eternal Joy in heaven. Then I entered the education system that taught me that I was born stupid and that the only way to avoid the suffering, was to seek for the knowledge that only they could provide.

All the while I was also going to church where I was taught that I was born evil and that unless I followed their dogma, constantly begged forgiveness,  and devoted my life to stroking god’s ego the suffering I am experiencing on this planet is nothing compared to the fire and brimstone that waits for me after I die.

I then turned to the media.  The News taught me that the main goal in life is to not die, and that I live in a scary place where threats to my life and well being are everywhere.  Then I watched drama series’s and movies and the message was the same. They taught me that murder was ok as long as it was justified, and the same held true for lying, cheating, and stealing.  Even in the advertising the message is very clear,”Be afraid, be very afraid, you are small and weak and need us to protect you from a very dangerous universe”

There Must Be A Better Way!

Does this story sound familiar to you?  Does this sound like an environment that a loving God would place his children in?  Is this the experience you want?  Thank God that the above is all part of the grand Illusion, taught by those that live in fear and seek to control others so that they themselves can feel safe. I thank God that this never works and that those that try to control others only end up imprisoning themselves.

In order to teach fear one must first be fearful, in order to promote smallness one must see themselves as small, in order to teach powerlessness one must see themselves as powerless.  I can only teach that which I believe to be true for me.  With this in mind, I can now come from a place of compassion around those that teach such things.

Teach Only What You Want To Be True!

The purpose of life is really to experience it,  to look around at the many experiences available and choose from what you do not want, and what you do want. You where created to summon the life force through you and fully express who you are to the world.  You truly are a powerful being who came here with purpose and intention.

If you want to feel powerful then teach empowerment, if you want to feel Loved unconditionally then teach unconditional Love. If you want to feel connected and at one with all then teach only that.  All that comes to you comes from you.  There is nothing to fear because Love is the most powerful force in the universe and at your core, you are Love.

Every thought you think is actually a prayer, an asking, and the universe is always listening, and responding, that is it’s function, it’s purpose.  Thoughts of anger, frustration, victimization, hatred, are actually prayers asking the universe for “more of this please”.  Thoughts of compassion, thankfulness, Love, empowerment, also attract after themselves.  It just depends on which experience you choose to focus on.

You Are Experiencing Abundance In Every Moment

Whether you are experiencing pain and lack, or joy and prosperity, these experiences are provided abundantly in accordance with your thoughts.  The stream of abundance is always flowing an endless, seamless, moment to moment, physical experience, comprised of the balance of your thoughts, and emotions.  Awareness is merely the choice to direct universal energies from a conscious place.

Just as the steam of our moment to moment experience flows seamlessly and rarely  takes  huge leaps in any direction,  So it is with our thoughts in that we can rarely go from hating, to loving someone in just one thought. To get from a dis-empowering thought to an empowering thought is an incremental process in order to allow our timeline experience to flow naturally. If we made quantum leaps every time we changed our mind about something then the world would be a chaotic place to live indeed.

Your Never Going To Get It Done

What I am talking about is a never ending flow of energy, the energy that creates worlds.  There is no place you are going and nothing to complete.  As you open your mind and directs it toward  experiences you want, then new vistas of thought will become open to you.  As you raise the level of vibration in your thinking then the lower vibrating thoughts will become less comfortable and even intolerable and thus the expansion of universal thought is guaranteed.

Your job is merely to learn to focus your thoughts in the direction that brings you joy and by doing that you are directing universal energy and expanding on what has already been.  It is in the flowing of this energy that brings unspeakable joy and empowerment.  When you consciously learn to flow this energy, your life will become that of fairy tales and those who observe it will stand in awe of all that you do. This is my wish for you.

Yet time and again I find well meaning, intelligent people telling me that this Law does not hold true when it comes to the original creations of God himself.  So what they are saying is that God is breaking his own unbreakable Law right out of the gate.  If this where true, and thank God it’s not, then all would be chaos and mis-creation would abound.

Your Playing Small Does Not Serve You, Or God

You cannot get small enough to make others great, your cannot get weak enough to make others strong, and most of all you cannot get powerless enough so demonstrate Gods power.  God did not create you to be small, God did not create you to be weak,  God did not create you to compare yourself with anyone.  Only by embracing your power, your greatness, do you truly glorify God and all he created.

God does not create unlike himself.  Know your divinity and share it with all, that is the purpose of life.  It is in the sharing that we find the fruit.  The Joy in Life comes from the knowing that God is Love and that at our core we are Love also.  When we allow ourselves to experience that love inside us, allowing it to grow in our experience until our cup is overflowing to all around us and eventually the world,  this is what we are here to do.

God Is Love And So Are You

Love is the greatest, and in fact the only power in the universe, it is the energy that creates all things including you. When we allow and focus the power of love then all is possible and nothing can harm us.  Even death becomes an illusion that is powerless in our presence when we are full of Love.  Embrace who you are, embrace the Love inside you, it is always there waiting for your return.

The way to experience this power that is in you is to fully express yourself to all you meet, share your Love with all others especially those that appear to cause you pain or be your enemy.  Give up all need or expectation that it will be returned, your cup is overflowing you have no need to get it filled from others.  The law of abundance says the more you give the more you will have, this I know to be true.
