Tuesday Treasure, Gifts for children across the globe

Every year my church participates in Samaritan Purse's Operation Christmas Child. This wonderful program involves packing a shoebox or plastic container with little gifts. The boxes are shipped to children all over the world who otherwise would not receive a Christmas gift. I love this program. Here are some pics of the Purs n' Snorts gang packing their shoeboxes.

The pugs are so happy to give this little toy to a child in need.

Nixon gives a kissie on the scarf to sweeten this gift.

Tuesday Review: Febreze NOTICEables, Air Wick Warmers

I've always wondered how people with many pets, like me, keep their home smelling fresh and clean. No matter how often I cleaned I couldn't seem to get rid of the pesky pet odors. Finally, I decided to try double-scented Febreze NOTICEables and Air Wick Warmers. I use an Air Wick Warmer in each room and the Febreze NOTICEable in the bathroom. Let me tell you, they are amazing! Now when I open the door our home feels warm and inviting. It's now comfortable for both the furry and non-furry. I love these products. They last for about a month, maybe a little more and are affordable to replace. They come in a variety of scents, I've tried fresh and clean, lavender (WONDERFUL) and vanilla.

Oh it is officially here - the month of November, one of the best months of the year. I love this time of year. The colorful leaves on the trees and falling on the ground. It's perfect pug weather. Wearing jackets and light sweaters. Oh it's just fantastic. The pumpkins, the turkeys, I cherish it all! Happy Fall!!! Above is my favorite turkey of all, my Fatty! He he.

I had so much fun Saturday with my friends scrapping and crafting. We even did a little shopping. i found a special project that I'm working on for my mom for Christmas. I'll take pictures of it and show it to you as I get opportunity to work on it. It's a very SIMPLE project, but from the heart. Anyway, like said this Saturday was wonderful here's some of my favorite spreads I did. Yes, it was great but I did sure miss the pugs and cats ;)

The pugs just love treats. As soon as my hand reaches for the box of bones or cookies, they get in this position. The other night John snuck into the kitchen and very quietly slipped his hand in the bone box but the Pugs knew the whole time what was up hehe. They also associate treats with the word "Gentlemen." John will give out the "Gentlemen" call and they go wild. So sweet. What do you do for a treat?

I recently completed a scrapbook all about Herbie and Ricky. I decided to do their scrapbook together well, because they're always together, the best of pals. With my pet scrapbook my goal is to capture their personality. I scrapbook each significant event of their first year with us like Easter, Christmas, birthday, etc. And I take extra photos and journal about their personalities, likes, dislikes, etc. I cherish my pet scrapbooks! They're something I'll always have to treasure and remember my babies with. Here's the scrapbook and a few of my favorite layouts. The album comes from Creative Memories.
