Radio is still king

We all expected it. Even Push Button encouraged it with all the money we spend on it. But in the end, the opposite occurred, and it's kinda cool. Radio out-sold the internet this year in regards to advertising, albeit by a marginal amount. Although we have our budget tied in both, we really thought that the internet for sure would have won that battle considering the way companies are spending entire salaries on Adwords. But radio is still king. And judging by the increase in demand for jingles from Push Button in the past month, radio may be the king next year as well.

Push Button team claims 10 Advertising Federation Awards!

On last Friday, February 15th, the Gainesville Advertising Federation awarded the Push Button Productions team ten of their highly coveted Addy awards! The team took home eight silver awards and two gold as well as two nominations for Best-In-Show. The Gainesville Addy awards are only the beginning though, as all ten winning entries are being sent on to compete in the fourth distrct Advertising Federations awards this coming May in Tampa.

Gainesville, Fla. – Watch out North Florida; Push Button Productions is taking its place in the market with a bang. On May 1, Push Button Productions will re-launch its Web site, offer a large range of audio production services and launch Push Button Music Production in order to compose original jingles and scores for clients. Owners and founders of Push Button Productions, Yeosh Bendayan and Jon Ruhff, hope that their new services and user-friendly Web site will help increase their production company’s market share in North Florida. “We really do like the North Florida market and helping out local business with their advertising is really exciting for us,” Bendayan said. “Coming up with advertising that gets one of our favorite businesses noticed is always fun.” With the help of their attorney and business partner Nick Nanton, Ruhff and Bendayan have spent the past three months revamping Push Button Productions’ Web site. The creative team at Push Button has been super busy lately producing spots for clients...like these guys! Santa Fe Community College came to us and asked our team to put together a spoof of Johnny Cash's "I've been everywhere man" so we said "you can learn it there man!" Then the logical choice was to make it a rap. New Way Solutions in South America needed a voice over for a client's website and Yeosh was the logical choice. When they asked for music and effects, it only took us a snap to add them for extra 'effect'. Hyundai of Gainesville was looking for a way to increase their branding. The team at Push Button said a jingle was the answer they were looking for. When we played "I can't get enough of my Hyundai" for them, they were sold!
