For the last several years, HP has eveolved the Trade-In and Save Program to it's current model:

1. Buy Cost Effective, Energy Saving Hewlett Packard LaserJet Printers and MFPs (copiers)

2. Apply for your Rebate (up to $150.00 each device)

3. HP Sends a Pre-Paid Shipping Label to recycle your old printer(s)

4. Upon recycling, HP sends you a rebate check

The whole process can be accomplished and progress monitored via the web.

Here is the QLS Enhancement - For a limited time that old printer or copier you’ve been procrastinating about replacing, just got a little more valuable. HP’s new Spring 2012 Trade-In and Save Program allows you to earn up to $150 of actual cash when you buy a new energy efficient HP device and recycle your old printer. Best thing is, it’s easier than you would imagine, purchase your new HP device from Western New York based QLS Solutions Group and we basically do the rest. At no additional cost, QLS will package and ship your old printer to HP. Don’t have an old printer to trade-in? No problem, QLS Solutions will provide you with a “trade-in” so you won’t miss out on the savings.

Earth Day Promotion | QLS Enhances HP Recycling Program for WNY

Buffalo, NY: In Late 1990, Gary Skalyo started Quality Laser Services, Inc. in a small office in downtown Buffalo. His mission was to build a business that was as “Green” as it was “Entrepreneurial”. Quality Laser was born while the Business World created a growing demand for Laser Printers, Fax Machines and Copiersfueling our insatiable thirst for Printer Cartridges.

Quality Laser’s Business Plan at that time was to Remanufacture Printer Cartridges for Local Businesses and Organizations to reuse in their own Printers, to promote Sustainable Practices in the Office and to Save Money. The problem was that Laser Printer Toner Cartridges could only be remanufactured a few times, and then the product would have to be thrown away.

In 1991, Hewlett Packard announced its Planet Partners Return-and-Recycle Program insuring that Laser Printer Toner Cartridges returned through this new Program would never reach a Landfill. In fact HP created one of the most ambitious Closed-Loop Recycling Programs the world has ever seen.

Quality Laser Services, Inc. took advantage of this Program in 1991 and started recycling large volumes of Printer Cartridges with the HP Planet Partners Return-and-Recycle Program that could no longer be remanufactured.

HP keeps print cartridges out of landfills. As of December 2008, more than 265 million HP LaserJet and HP inkjet print cartridges have been returned and recycled worldwide since the program began, representing nearly 343 million pounds.

Informa Software’s IQmfp Version 10.3 Released, Quality Laser Services Builds Solution with Powerful Document Management Software

Informa Software and Quality Laser Services, Inc. are pleased to announce the immediate availability of IQmfp (ImageQuest) Version 10.3, the next generation of Informa’s popular Document Management Solution. IQmfp 10.3 is the result of many months of development based on feedback from our user community, demonstrating Informa’s and Quality Laser’s ongoing commitment to you, our valued clients.

This release of IQmfp contains many behind-the-scenes upgrades designed to make installation and administration even easier as well as several significant new features. The enhancements include the IQmfp Assistant™ which offers the ability to edit and save changes to PDF files when used in conjunction with a PDF authoring tool such as Adobe Acrobat Professional®. The ability to create and execute document retention policies has been added to the Enterprise and Workgroup editions of IQmfp (ImageQuest) and purging of deleted documents is now available in all editions. Many other enhancements are included.

Additionally, Quality Laser Services has developed an “Appliance Solution” using IQmfp Version 10.3 as its foundation. By combining the software with a Server & Network Attached Storage (NAS), HP LaserJet MFPs and ScanJet Scanners, the result is a complete Solution for replacing a Companies’ or Organizations’ Filing Cabinets and Paper Based Storage & Retrieval Processes.

“The Solution’s real Value is that it allows Companies’ to Combine Paper Documents normally filed in cabinets, with electronic documents and Windows Program Files in a Secure Database that can be accessed via the web from anywhere in the world” says Gary Skalyo, Quality Laser Services, Inc.’s President.
