Quadzilla 15k Trail Race is pleased to announce it’s partnership with HCM Foundation and participation in the organization’s Event Charity Partner Program in 2012. HCM Foundation actively connects cancer patients, survivors, and their families with companies, endurance athletes, and individuals willing to offer their support.

HCM offers opportunities and financial support to families affected by cancer by skipping the middle man and putting funds directly into the hands of cancer victims. The aid that HCM provides helps families take care of the little things in order to help keep them going. Things like helping with medical, grocery or utility bills, daily task support such as lawn care, meal preparation, even general house work. When a family is dealing with cancer it affects an entire support network. HCM works to help keep that chain strong.

By working closely with the social work department at the Fox Chase Cancer Center – a nonprofit institution formed in 1974 by the union of the Institute for Cancer Research and the American Oncologic Hospital, one of the nation’s first cancer hospitals – the foundation and Fox Chase Cancer Center locate appropriate recipients for the funds.

The Purpose of the HCM Foundation College Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance and develop opportunities for students who have been significantly impacted by cancer.

Quadzilla 15k and HCM Foundation will offer 10 special fund raising entries for the July 15th event. Each fundraising entry involves a commitment to raise $125 for HCM Foundation, includes a race entry, one free pass to Lehigh Valley Zoo, a technical race shirt, an HCM run hat or visor. Race amenities also include 3-4 aid stations, unique awards and early bib pickup.

To gain entry, contact us at HCMFund@gmail.com or (484) 347-3993.
