My lens cap broke, so please forgive me for some of the photos in this post being kinda blurry

So at the weekend I went to the M'era Luna festival, my fifth in fact, and I'm going to share some of the photos I took. I apologise in advance that my lens cap broke and I ended up with a fingerprint on my lens so some of them are a little blurry.

Dinosaurs!

As I said this was my fifth M'era Luna, and actually it was probably my favourite, as in previous years either Kev, I or both of us has been working and had to keep nipping off to take photos, but this time we got to spend more time enjoying bands together, it was nice :)

Oomph!

I really enjoyed The Sisters of Mercy, even if their dry ice mostly billowed out of the back of the stage this time, Rabia Sorda were wonderfully energetic as always and surprise of the weekend for me was Faun, who I really enjoyed (although they did give me a hankering to play Gwent).

Also Oomph!

The festival seemed much bigger this year, I only bumped into two of the people I was looking for, and while I know that there were three bus loads of British people this year (Goths on a Bus has someone snowballed from being one bus a few years back) I only actually saw three people I know that do the bus thing. We're not bus people though, we had a nice relaxing flight and stayed in an Airbnb, which was nice and they had a dog that appreciated my fingernails!

More Dinosaur

I've sort of avoided making this post a little bit, not because I didn't want to talk about M'era Luna or share my pictures, but because after seven years of writing this blog, I've decided that this will be my last post. In the last year I've got back into making videos, and I'm finding that I enjoy it more than written blogging, it's easier to get my point across and it's much more of a visual medium, but it takes time, quite a lot of it and while I love this blog of mine, I don't have time to do both, and I feel like trying to do both has held my videos back a bit and also made my blog content not as good as it has been over the previous years.

Who knows I might come back to written blogging in the future, but for now I'm leaving it on a slightly blurrier than I'd wanted high note rather than just vanishing. I will still be following everybody else's blogs that I currently follow, and if you're just here for pretty pictures and you're not keen on my video content then I post quite frequently on Instagram as @alexandriawebofficial and you can keep track of my modelling work on my Facebook like page: https://www.facebook.com/AlexandriaWebQueenOfTheWildFrontier/

But the vast majority of my posts will be in videoform over on my youtube channel, Queensofthewild

Rabia Sorda

So I guess all that remains is to say so long and thanks for all the fish.

Lord of the Lost

No seriously, thank you for reading all of my ramblings for all these years and supporting my attempts at sanity, it is very much appreciated.
