Everyone loves these peanut blossoms.<br /><br /><br /><h3><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Ingredients</strong></em></span></h3> * 2 cups all-purpose flour<br />* 1/2 tsp. baking powder<br />* 1/2 tsp. salt<br />* 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature<br />* 1/2 cup peanut butter<br />* 3/4 cup firmly-packed brown sugar<br />* 1/2 cup granulated sugar<br />* 1 large egg<br />* 1 egg yolk<br />* 2 tsp. vanilla extract<br />* 36 to 48 Hershey kisses, unwrapped<br /><br /><br /><h3><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Preparation</strong></em></span></h3> 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or a silpat mat.<br /><br />2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.<br /><br />3. Cream butter, peanut butter and sugars together with an electric mixer. Beat in egg, egg yolk and vanilla.<br /><br />4. Gradually, beat in the flour mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.<br /><br />5. Drop by rounded teaspoonsful onto prepared cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with your fingers.<br /><br />6. Bake 12-15 minutes until the cookies are just starting to brown.
