QuirkyC and QuirkyD have been creating up a storm.  Alas QuirkyK here is way behind on photographing these beauties and getting them up for all you wonderful customers!  So I spent most of my Sunday doing exactly that, snapping away!  And I even got a few up in the shop!  Here are our latest creations, hope you enjoy them!

I’ve decided to give the 52 Friday Photography challenge a try thanks to the Bloom Forum :)   So I joined group 8 and this weeks (19) theme was Growth.

And where did my wonky mind go with this…If you care to follow my Topsy Turvey madness here is the route I took :  (otherwise just enjoy the pictures :) )  As one might expect my first thought of growth at this perfect time of year gravitated to the abundance of new plants springing forth.  But as usual my mind didn’t stop there!  Then I thought about the growth in my life, which brought me to my surge of creativity lately.  About the same time I got a package in the mail.  And low and behold it is the perfect blend of nature and creativity!  While not my creativity it just fit!  I know what on earth am I talking about…  Without further ado, here are a few shots of my fabulous light and fluttery butterfly necklace courtesy of the talented Derya Aksoy.

And here is a shot taken after my little girl informed me that a butterfly likes to SIT on things not hang! :)

Simple things in life are often overlooked.  Not so with this zoo crew!  I came home the other evening to find 4 generations playing in the garden.  How often can you see four generations of a family enjoying the weather and working together to grow not only plants but love?  Needless to say the photographer in me was in heaven!  Camera came out and here are the memories captured on this fabulous day in the life of two of the quirky trio!

Hope you enjoyed our little family get together as much as I did!

QuirkyK here is STILL picking my jaw up off the floor!  So I was bitten by the photography bug and have since then resorted to learning everything I can.  Well, I’m a visual and hands on learner so that means workshops, books, and the like help me.  Which means a money tree is needed! LOL  And heck that doesn’t even take into account the dreams I have for the actual EQUIPMENT I want my hands on!!  I digress…

So while checking my blog reads I ran across Crave Photography.  Always a great place for inspiration and the like…well today I wasn’t just inspired I was blown away!  Can you imagine a one on one two day Private Workshop ALL EXPENSES PAID!!  So now I have a shot at winning some tutelage from one of those photographers that I adore!

Spring has come, and those fields are ripe for picking!!  YUM YUM!  Strawberry Shortcake, Strawberry Pretzel salad, scrumptious smoothies, oh just all of my favorite strawberry recipes have just jumped to the head of the to do list!  And what strawberry season would be complete without a few festivals!!  As luck would have it we will be enjoying one of those very festivals and in 3 short days!!!  This Saturday from 9am – 4pm you will find the QuirkyTrio and our wonderful quirky products enjoying a bit of sun and splendor at the 11th Annual Strawberry Festival in our very own greater Cleveland community!  Be sure to stop by and see some of our work  in PERSON!!

Thought you all might like to see what my little fingers have been working on!  I got a random idea to make a necklace featuring a nest with gemstone eggs..but of course that means there has to be a bird right!?!  So needless to say I thought I’d sculpt one up (which mind you is turning out to  be the portion of the necklace that will get the most focus, go figure!).  Anyway, here is my progress after a few trial and error smushed wings!  What do you think?
