I'm a recreational drug / alcohol user / unmotivated? do I need help?

flirting & sex
violence
uplifting & “fight” music
motivation coaching / inspirational / success coaching
ocd perfectionist about grammar, organization, etc.
an adrenaline junky
meditation & proper breathing
attention & praise [child actor, mama's boy before puberty]
ecstasy [spent life savings on it]
alcohol [spent the rest of my savings on it]
mixed alcohol, marijuana, and benedrill ["blackout" / memory loss]
vicoden [ppl with perscriptions give it to me]
prozac [ppl with perscriptions gave it to me, discontinued use]
cigarettes [used to be addicted, kinda grossed out by it now]
marijuana / cannabis [social anxiety disorder: got a 'script for it]
exercising [belief that hard work is neccesary: overtraining to failure]
endorphins [from exercising + ecstasy]

I want to try:
LSD
cocaine
morphine
valium
oxycontin
codeine
norcos

It's not like I'm stupid. I have an est. IQ of at least 155, and a college GPA of 4.0 so far. But I might be bipolar / suffer from borderline personality disorder (I'm afraid to ask a psychiatrist / psychologist, cuz they will probably perscribe me riddalin & prozac = P).

After spending my life's savings on partying {$4,400 on hookers & lap dances, $4,440 on ecstasy, $3,000+ clothes & flashy watches, $100 / day on alcohol for parties, $1,000+ on medical marijuana} and running from the cops [let's just say, it's only illegal if you get caught, and they don't let you go!], I have enough $ to pay my bills that I've accumulated.

Not to mention I have a misdemeanor I'm going to court in a week for (can't afford a lawyer), and I managed to get herpies II from someone, and I was raped by a couple pornstars and a gay guy…it started as an experiment in bisexuality but resulted in rape. :[
And both my car and the truck I traded the car in for were crashed, resulting in my loss of $8,000, my insurance company's loss of $8,000, and the car dealership's loss of $2,000.

I just spent the last 3-4 days high on ecstasy. I have a lot more & I'm considering just going all out as an addict, until somebody throws me into rehab or I OD & kill myself.

I'm perfectly accepting that I was responsible for all my actions,
and unfortunately I am dealing with the consequences.

I need dental work done (16 cavities, plus braces) and want to get PRK eye surgery so I don't have to deal with contacts / glasses (which in 2 weeks from now I will need to get my eyes re-checked, but no $).

I'd also like to "get the f**k out of dodge" as my friend put it, but I'm stuck between going to jail [might actually be good for me], joining the military, continuing acting, living with my family, suicide, and all the things I hope to become [ufc fighter, professional pick up artist, motivational/success/time management/efficiency/financial coach, etc].

I also think I'd get addicted to therapy due to the sympathy / attention?

How about these right… I think you’ll find the following nuggets of wisdom particularly insightful. Leave your comments below. Check out the second one in particular…

Marijuana Researchers Make Progress in the Lab, But Not in …

There’s more encouraging scientific news on the use of marijuana to alleviate pain: a study has shown that effective doses of cannabis can be delivered with vaporizers, which enable patients to get the therapeutic benefits without … Old people have little pains that limit them, too often, from helpful activity such as walking every day, or joining other people for useful activities like mentoring hapless youth, or volunteering to coach new small business entrepreneurs. …

‘Steeds meer jongeren verslaafd aan cannabis’ – Nederland …

Want het is vooral de cannabis zelf die in die tijd minstens tien keer zo sterk geworden is. Dus een veel groter percentage van de gebruikers zal daardoor in de problemen komen, en dat zie je terug in de aantallen die zich bij de klinieken melden Dat wil nog niet zeggen dat er in totaal meer gebruikers zijn, en het wil zelfs niet zeggen dat er meer verslaafden zijn. …. Coach van het Jaar. Bewijs uw voetbalkennis en speel mee in. Coach van het Jaar. …

In his suit, Wade says von Houtman sent damaging emails to then Miami Heat coach Pat Riley and players about Wade’s alleged marijuana and steroids use. “It has been difficult to see false allegations, rumors and gossip repeatedly …

Would you like to learn proven methods to stop marijuana cravings from tempting you?

According to the National Household Survey on Drug Abuse that was conducted in 2001, it is estimated that 83 million Americans have tried marijuana. It is also estimated that 5.6 million of these users reporting having problems with illicit drug use and more than 2 million of these users feel dependent on smoking marijuana.

There are effective treatments and supplements that you can take to control the urge to smoke marijuana, however not everyone can afford to go to a rehab clinic or fork out hundreds of dollars for craving supplements that may or may not work.

This is where Emotional Freedom Technique (or EFT) comes into place. It is free, quick, easy and very effective at stopping cravings of all kinds including craving to smoke marijuana joints.

So what is EFT?

EFT is in simple terms, a method to break habits. By applying pressure on certain areas of your body whilst thinking about your craving you can reverse this craving for whatever it is you do not want. The technique is also used to send positive affirmations to your subconscious mind. The technique looks very strange but it is very simple to do and very effective. I would recommend everyone try this technique as it is so simple to achieve results.

What you will be doing is tapping with our fingertips on certain key points of the body. Just before tapping and during tapping you should concentrate on your craving. For example, if you wanted to smoke a joint, you would think about smoking a joint and imagine yourself already smoking a joint.

It’s very simple stuff and can be performed by anyone. Results are instant and the whole process should not take you more than 3 minutes to complete.

The Cannabis Coach provides an interactive complete marijuana stop-smoking system to guide you through your mental and physical cravings from your quit date on to smoke-free status. Get your life back on track and start saving money! http://www.cannabiscoach.com

You can't coach a witness at all? dont lawyers do this all the time?

You can't suborn perjury. You can discuss how to tell the truth. In The Verdict the defense team talks to the Doctor and tells him to use everyday language not medical. Threw up in the mask rather than vomited. It is coaching in style but not substance and that is legal.

There are few things more damaging to a relationship than an addiction. I constantly hear from my readers that their partner’s marijuana addiction eats away at their finances, ruins the time they have to spend together and overall leaves them feeling second-best to a leafy green weed.

It is understandable that a person dealing with their partner’s marijuana addiction will feel frustrated, insecure and even angry at their partner’s unwillingness to change their ways. Unfortunately, these feelings often result in animosity and fighting rather than a solution of the problem. It takes a person of great character and patience to stay with an addict through their recovery – especially when they are not willing to admit they have a problem.

Many marijuana smokers still believe that pot is not an addictive substance. How can you convince a loved one to stop smoking marijuana when they don’t believe it’s doing them any harm? The very nature of this drug contributes to the problem; as your pot-smoking partner smokes more and more often, they tend to lose their perspective. They truly can’t see the damage they are doing to your relationship. They don’t understand the amount of time they spend smoking weed instead of doing the things you used to enjoy together. The amount of money they waste on marijuana just doesn’t seem like a big deal when they’re in their hazy, happy place.

Before approaching your loved one with your concerns, formulate a plan of action:

Educate – Have statistics to back up your claims. You can find great articles with marijuana addiction statistics in back issues of the CannabisAddicts.com website.

Articulate – For some of us, it’s just easier to say it in writing. If you have a hard time expressing the ways that your partner’s addiction affects you and your relationship together, write it down. You can either give them the list or refer to it as you speak to them about your concerns to be sure you stay on track.

Be Fair and Specific – They need to hear exactly what it is that their addiction is doing. Instead of general, negative comments such as, “You would rather smoke weed than hang out with me,” use positive phrases to explain to them HOW the addiction has changed your lives: “I miss the time that we used to spend together and I want us to have fun again, like we used to.”

Be Prepared for Resistance – The first time you broach the subject, you may not get the results you want. Understand that it may take several attempts to get your point across in a calm, rational manner. If you feel yourself becoming angry and frustrated with their seeming unwillingness to hear you out, walk away and try again later. Don’t lose your temper. This leads us to another important point…

Know Your Limits – Before approaching your partner about their marijuana addiction, you must know your own limits. If your intervention and support don’t make them quit, will you stay? Are you going to give them an ultimatum? Are you strong enough to walk away, or will you stay and put up with it if things don’t change? These are tough questions to answer, but you absolutely must know what YOU need from the relationship before you can explain that to your partner and expect them to follow suit.

If you are willing to put the effort into trying to help your partner stop smoking marijuana, I take my hat off to you. It is not an easy road and your patience will be tried over and over again. Be supportive, be strong, but don’t be afraid to take a break from it all if it all becomes too much for you.

And but what he also did was questioned policy changes that the government had made specifically the move from rescheduling cannabis from class C to class B moving it up the schedules and challenging government policy and that is not generally what government ….. We are going to go back to the football again, the legendary coach, Vince Lomabardi of the Green Bay Packers who was more successful than almost anybody else when he retired, they had this dinner for him. …

If it was cannabis, this is not the first substance case involving Phelps, and the other was more serious, even if it involved alcohol rather than an illegal drug. In December, 2004, he got 18 months probation after pleading guilty to drunk driving. He was just 19 when that occurred …. Now if he would only get caught with a gun in his car, get several women pregnant, punch his coach, and learn to play professional basketball, he could make about six times as much money. …

Marijuana, just like any other drug, is very addicting. In fact, when you are hooked on the weed, you simply cannot stop smoking. The only difference between a cigarette and marijuana is that the latter can bring you to euphoric states. The downside in this experience is that the euphoria that you experience came from an addictive substance that can be harmful on the body and this is why it is important to learn how to quit using marijuana.

There are hundreds or even thousands maybe, of programs available that promises you total healing from the addiction that you are in. Some of these programs could even promise you to be weed-free in a short span of time. Others offer a long-term program in getting healed from the weed.

There is no overnight success in becoming drug free. Everything takes time to happen but when it does, it promises us in having clean lives. The best teacher is experience and there is no greater person in helping us than for that person who has been through what you may be experiencing now.

Quit Marijuana Today With The Cannabis Coach EZ-Quit System

This is where the Cannabis Coach comes in. The Cannabis Coach has been created by Gary Evans to help people who are addicted to the weed. Gary mentions that his journey was not an easy task for him to overcome the problems he was in at the moment. He himself tried different methods so that he may be free from the addiction. It even came to a point that he almost gave up until he found a way to remove the addiction. It was not a one-day healing event for Gary. It took days for him to overcome the addiction. As a result, he was able to come up with a program that he found effective. The program claims that there are no empty promises. There is also no guilt and even no 12-step programs involved. The 12-step program is usually offered in other programs to combat drug addiction.

Cannabis Coach was not released in the market until he performed some trials on some subjects. In the trial that he did, around 15 people were subjected to the program. His report showed that after the program, the 15 subjects were free from marijuana addiction thus showing everyone that he obtained a 100% positive result in the test he conducted. Gary mentions in his website that in 2 months, the 15 participants stopped smoking marijuana for 30 full days.

Cannabis Coach contains two components. It has audio files that are further subdivided into 5 parts. The other component contains 10 worksheets. The name of the program so implies and Gary Evans is the former pothead and he is the Cannabis Coach. The Easy Quit Marijuana Audio Program he created guarantees help in eliminating marijuana cravings. It also promises one in giving back the passion and zest of life that marijuana addiction took away. The program’s approach attracts to different types of learners – audio visual and memory learners.

Cannabis Coach could be effective or it could also be not effective. Its efficiency depends on the individual undergoing the program, the determination and drive to change for the better. If you are 100% determined to have a better life, any program would most likely work for you and Cannabis Coach – The Easy Quit Marijuana Audio Program is one of them.

Stop smoking cannabis now or face severe health problems. No matter what you have heard before, smoking cannabis is a dangerous habit that can be quite costly from a health perspective. Cannabis contains harmful chemicals that affect your lungs and respiratory system. For people that have been smoking this drug on a regular basis for 10 or more years you may be experiencing the following problems;

Heavy breathing, wheezing and a strong cough

Chronic bronchitis. Have you got a chest x-ray done recently?

Memory loss. Are you more forgetful? Do you have a lack of concentration?

Tiredness. Do you feel tired all the time, no drive and no energy?

Do you feel anxiety, depression and seriously unwell?

Are you pregnant and smoking cannabis? Stop now. Your fetus may be affected by cannabis smoking.

Smoking marijuana has a negative influence on fertility

If you stop smoking marijuana there are withdrawal symptoms you need to be aware of. For example, you may feel angry and very irritable. The high you used to get from smoking the drug has stopped. What you need to do is replace that feeling you used to get from smoking marijuana with another activity, get a positive high feeling from doing something else. You may think this is impossible to do, but in reality this can be done. You need to realize that when you were born you were not smoking drugs. It is not something that is natural to the human body. It is a habit you have become addicted to over time.

Do you feel tired, irritated, restless, or paranoid? The effects of smoking cannabis is taking it’s full toll. You may also be experiencing weight loss, a decreased appetite with sleep difficulty. Smoking cannabis may be affecting you at work and your family life. http://www.squidoo.com/how-to-stop-smoking-cannabis
Stop smoking cannabis now and get your life back together. Sharpen your mind once again as you stop inhaling chemicals that effect your mental functions. Give up smoking cannabis today.

I hope you’ve been enjoying my posts lately. I thought I might do something different today and rustle up a few bits of info from around the WWW. These are some of the news items and blog posts that have been popular over the last few weeks. Leave me your thoughts.

Dilettante’s Notebook: On Bill Walton

As a college player, he had acquired a well-earned reputation for Southern California oddball iconoclasm, and it was his good luck that Coach Wooden tolerated, however grudgingly, his chronic cannabis-smoking. The law never interfered, …

2006 Great Midwest Marijuana Harvest Festival

Cannabis was banned in the US because of when it was brought over the border and then smoked by black americans… the white americans didnt like how the black men were starting to look white women in the eye and stand on the white mans …. offering plate..i adopted a indonesian orphan and show her love and teach her well.. i coach wrestling donate many endless hours to fundraising events have helped keep peoples utilities on that had children and needed my help….and when …

Dolphins In Depth: Thoughts on Manny Wright

He legitimately used cannabis medicinally which is perfectly legal for one third of the population in United States – with more and more states joining in each year. He is someone whom the NFL should have helped, but they ignorantly decided … He’s still a year away from big playing time. Also, you think other team mates on other teams wouldn’t mess with him or make fun of him? It would probably be more so somewhere else. Sorry Manny, Dick Vermeal doesn’t coach anymore. …

Hope you enjoy the read as much as I did and please if you have something to say, use the comments form below to let everyone know your thoughts.

Have a great day!

Y do i always get depressed for a couple of days after i smoke weed?

Supporters of marijuana may finally have an excuse to smoke weed every day, as a recent study in the Journal Of Clinical Investigation suggests that smoking pot can make the brain grow.

Though most drugs inhibit the growth of new brain cells, injections of a synthetic cannabinoid have had the opposite effect in mice in a study performed at the University of Saskatchewan. Research on how drugs affect the brain has been critical to addiction treatment, particularly research on the hippocampus.

The hippocampus is an area of the brain essential to memory formation. It is unusual because it grows new neurons over a person's lifetime. Researchers believe these new cells help to improve memory and fight depression and mood disorders.

Many drugs – heroin, cocaine and the more common alcohol and nicotine – - inhibit the growth of these new cells. It was thought that marijuana did the same thing, but new research suggests otherwise.

Neuropsychiatrist, Xia Zhang and a team of researchers study how marijuana-like drugs, known collectively as cannabinoids, act on the brain.

The team tested the effects of HU-210, a potent synthetic cannabinoid similar to a group of compounds found in marijuana. The synthetic version is about 100 times as powerful as Tetrahydrocannabinol ( THC ), the high-inducing compound loved by recreational users.

The researchers found that rats treated with HU-210 on a regular basis showed neurogenesis – the growth of new brain cells in the hippocampus. A current hypothesis suggests depression may be triggered when the hippocampus grows insufficient numbers of new brain cells. If true, HU-210 could offer a treatment for such mood disorders by stimulating this growth.

Whether this is true for all cannabinoids remains unclear, as HU-210 is only one of many and the HU-210 in the study is highly purified.

“That does not mean that general use in healthy people is beneficial,” said Memorial University of Newfoundland psychology professor William McKim. “We need to learn if this happens in humans, whether this is useful in healthy people and whether THC causes it as well.”

McKim warns that marijuana disrupts memory and cognition. “These effects can be long-lasting after heavy use,” he said. “This makes it difficult to succeed academically if you use it excessively.” (This statement is contradicted by study that cannabis has no long term effect on cognition and memory. Ed.)

Why a recovery coach instead of a sponsor? Most people in early recovery just use a sponsor and that is all the guidance they receive. But is there any benefit to seeking out coaching instead of relying on sponsorship only?

You bet there are. First of all, understand exactly what a 12 step sponsor is for in recovery. They are there to help you with the steps; nothing more. Their function is to help you with spirituality and to teach you how to work the steps.

A recovery coach, on the other hand, is going to help you define your goals in life, and then help you to work towards those goals. The process is more client-driven than sponsorship is because the coach is basing the instruction on the client’s goals instead of basing it on his own agenda. Therefore recovery coaching is more goal-oriented and is more custom tailored to the clients needs.

Why is this important for recovery? I would argue that sponsorship is useful in early recovery, but recovery coaching becomes more important in long term recovery. As you stay clean and sober for longer and longer, it becomes more crucial for you to start working on your own goals and personal growth – much more so than it was in early recovery. This is because recovery is essentially split up into 2 stages: early recovery and long term recovery.

The period of early sobriety is all about relearning how to live everyday life. You have to relearn how to live in early recovery, so a sponsor is most helpful in giving you all sorts of help based on their own experience. It is an educational time of learning. You must be geared into learning to succeed in early recovery.

After a while, in long term sobriety, learning is no longer the important focus because you will have a solid foundation of knowledge about how to manage in sobriety. Now the real enemy shows its face in long term sobriety and that enemy is complacency. If we stop growing or actively pursuing new growth experiences then we will eventually slide back into our old ways and thus run the risk of relapse. This is an issue in long term sobriety after we’ve been clean for a couple years.

Given that, the idea of a recovery coach becomes very useful in maintaining long term sobriety. This is because a recovery coach is specifically trained in order to push people towards personal growth. The whole idea is to work with a client and get them to grow towards their own specified goals. This is an action-based approach to staying sober that is so much more effective than the path that many people take in long term sobriety. If you are working with a recovery coach and always setting new goals and constantly pushing yourself to grow then you are going to have a very strong recovery.

Sponsorship is still useful but it serves a different purpose – one that is more closely aligned with spiritual matters. This has it’s place and can even be useful in long term recovery, but it is no replacement for purposeful, action-driven growth and development.

If you think you might need a slight push when it comes to your own personal growth and development in long term recovery, then you might look into getting a recovery coach who can help you with this.
