Man-oh-man, where to start?

The beginning seems like a good place…

June 2011: Roaring Traffic.

Well, to be totally transparent the original name was “SEOantidote”, but after some deliberation and loads of feedback I decided on Roaring Traffic. I like it, and I hope you do too.

Back in 2011 at a meeting with my “Mastermind Group” (just a fancy name for a group of like minded people helping each other out to achieve similar goals) I hatched a plan.

The plan was to change the way you get traffic from the search engines.

To make it easy, cost effective, ethical, and profitable.

I’m generally a pretty humble guy and don’t like to toot my own horn, and like most people I have my strengths and my weaknesses.

Some things we’re awful at, some good, and every once in a while we come across one of our “unique abilities”.

When you find your unique ability it’s like suddenly having Superman’s powers and a Batmobile, your an unstoppable superhero off to save the world.

I don’t know how people discover their unique abilities (I wish I did), but I do know that those that are lucky enough to find one or two generally excel at whatever it is they are trying to accomplish.

One of my unique abilities is building traffic.

And when I see what is going on out on the Internet with all the schemes, “black hat” techniques, and high priced search engine optimization firms it makes me frustrated.

SEO is not some magical art. You don’t have to use deceptive tactics. You don’t need a high priced consultant. And you definitely don’t need to be a guru or internet wizard to bring in more search engine traffic to your site.

What you need are the facts, a strategic plan, sound advice and the willingness to do the work.

And so it began… I put together a massive online course on how to build and keep a steady stream of traffic coming to your site from the search engines.

That was the SEOantidote.

It’s really pretty good, but there is one major problem:

It involves a lot of WORK…

In this day and age we’re all busy, business involves a lot of choices, and you have to weigh the opportunity cost against the benefit.

Investing a month of your time in an SEO course, while a solid long term investment, may not be something your interested in.

I asked people who’s opinions I respected, and the overall answer was simple:

“I don’t want to study the course, I want you to DO IT FOR ME!”

And thats what I set out to do. Roaring Traffic takes the grunt work off your plate and lets you focus on building a business.

Now while IBM’s Watson may be able to come close, until artificial intelligence actually exists there is going to be some work involved in SEO. There really is no push button solution that actually works, trust me I’ve tried them all.

You have to connect with your market, you have to publish interesting content, you have to have a great product or service, and in marketing parlance a Unique Selling Proposition (USP) or “hook” that makes people want to buy your stuff.

So, I can’t help you there, I’m sure you’ll agree that no one (especially me) knows your market like you do.

What Roaring Traffic can do however is really pretty incredible.

The technology that makes it all possible did not even exist in June 2011 when I got started. It exists today.

Roaring Traffic makes getting more visitors from the search engines easy, cost effective, ethical, and profitable (and it’s a whole lot of fun too!).

There’s a whole lot more to say but for now I’ve got to go feed the monkey her dinner (my 2 year old daughter), more to come soon…
