I’m looking forward to a nice long weekend here, as Monday is a Bank Holiday here in the UK.  Next week we have a few vet appointments with the dog, she will be having more tests to see if the treatment is working as hoped.  Fingers crossed!  In the meantime, I have an appointment with some images and a large bag of markers.

I did something I don’t do all that often – coloured Bubbles purely in greys! Love how she turned out.

After a few weeks of being absolutely useless, I actually have a Bellariffic Friday card to share!  Albeit one that follows the sketch very loosely. Well, it wouldn’t do to be too good, now would it?

It has been a while since I butchered an Uptown Girl, so here is Stamping Bella Uptown Girl Madison (Uptown Girls are also available in the UK at Quixotic Paperie).

She’s definitely an oldie but goodie.  I’ve used her several times on cards, and I still love her!

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.  The designer paper is from my scrap drawer, a mix of Basic Grey and Cosmo Cricket I do believe.  For the wording, I used Doodlebug alphabet rub-ons.

April wasn’t a great month overall, and it definitely wasn’t a good blogging month.  May WILL be better!

I’ve got a quick but sweet tag to share today, featuring one of my favourite recent releases from Stamping Bella – Diane Duda’s “I Carry Your Heart With Me” (also available in the UK at Quixotic Paperie).

The stamp actually comes with the sentiment “I Carry Your Heart With Me”, which is lovely, but I wanted something slightly different, plus I’m trying to use up some of my stash of stickers!

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers before cutting it out.

The designer paper is from the beautiful Prima Marketing Inc Lyric 6×6 pad.

The fab “splats” are a stamp from the Stamping Bella Journal Your Art Out – Java Spills stamp set (also available in the UK at Quixotic Paperie). I also used an older sentiment from Stamping Bella.  I believe this one came with one of the older Mo Manning stamps.  One of my favourite things about Stamping Bella stamps is the fantastic sentiments Em puts with the images.

As with yesterday’s tag, the background was created using Distress Ink and water, and the tag was cut using the MFT Die-Namics Traditional Tags STAX die set.

Tags just seem to make me happy at the moment!

This tag features (once again) one of my favourite silhouette stamps, the gorgeous JANE GIRL by Jane Davenport for Stamping Bella (UK readers can find her over at Quixotic Paperie). I’ve also used the coordinating sentiment that comes with her.  I masked off the butterfly this time, for a slightly different look.

I created the tag using Distress Inks and water on pearlescent white cardstock.  The tag was cut using the MFT Die-Namics Traditional Tags STAX die set.

Just love that colour…
