But someone from the sky was smiling and planning something else. At last when nothing could be arranged he walked to the garage and asked the owner to get him a rickshaw on rent. The owner asked him many questions and permits him to take one.

UNCLE! UNCLE!! Please wake up. Someone is pulling his shirt. Perhaps he slept sitting on the seat of the rickshaw. He was caught cold and sick for last couple of days, but could not stay at home as he promised the old lady to take the child to school. Last two days she did not come. He alone brought the child and took back her home.

That was our life. We were fun loving, caring towards other, jolly and of course good fellows. The only shortcoming was that we never loved to study the text books regularly. We were seven in number. Lucky seven, huh! The campus used to call us seven stars.

In the mean time two of us once again managed to get affair. Curious?? Thinking who was the girl?? No, the girl was not from our department, class or from our university. Those two star used to teach at home, i. e., Home Tutor. One has managed his student while another managed to convince the aunt of the student………….

What were those days we really passed? Often I think if Allah give me the chance to want anything, I would have wanted those days back in my life forever. No hassle, no responsibilities life like birds. That was brief starting of our love life.

Now we are six in number and established in different sectors. You might be thinking where our seventh member is. He is no more. He died on operation table.

He had severe block in the artery of his heart. He had an affair while he died. She cried a lot. The seven stars are still the seven, six are in physical being one is still in the heart of the six.

His memories often make our eyes moisten. Whatever, all we know that the every living creature will have to die one day. It is cited in the Holy Quran “Kullu Nafsin Jayiqatul Mout” which means every living being will taste the death……

In the end of the day all we are just nothing but dust in the wind, the famous song from Kansas, “dust in the wind” is the one often reminds me the days while I will not be in the earth……………

Now we managed admission in the universities but could not manage admission into the heart of the BEAUTIES.

Life is love or love is life

In the earlier post I have written that from a strict disciplined life we just shifted into a life of unlimited freedom, so most of us could rarely control themselves and learn from the classes, lectures, books, libraries and so on. We were from that clan who were day dreamer.

We used to both read and pray to Allah only on the eve of the examination, saying Allah please this is the last time, we will not make the same mistake again and read once pass the present exam.

The exam is over and once again we used to forget our promise.

The Romeos are back in the field and busy to try to win the heart of the Juliets’, but once again the hearts of the Juliet are made of stone. Those hearts used to melt only for the seniors and teachers of the departments.

Every evening we used to return to our hall of residence with broken heart, which till next morning repaired and we start trying with new enthusiasm.

Ah!! What a life we passed, I wish I could return to those days once again!!

A year passed and the gang of Romeo once again managed to pass the year. Now they are senior and have responsibility to look after and take care of the newcomer Juliets. After all they are the senior manager of the department. Still our girl classmates are strict towards us with their rock hard heart.

The newcomer girls seem to be more intelligent than their senior sisters. They come to us take help on almost every matter but seem reluctant to be in any kind of love affair. Just imagine a group of Romeos are just eager to get an affair, funny huh!!!

Life is love or love is life; the beginning. OK you have already gone through the name of the topic, so what you expect; I am going to describe all those thought and philosophies of love jumping in my mind? Sorry, but it is not going to happen. It is not possible for a kid like me to explain all those deep thought and ideas about love.

While in my younger age my friends used to elaborate LOVE as L- lost, O- of, V- valuable and E- Energy!! So what you have found? Love is lost of valuable energy. In our society love and affair without marriage between a boy and girl was not welcomed till a time, though now a day situation is much changed.

So in our age (before 2000), it was really tough for us to manage someone and say “I Love You” was pretty tough and troublesome. So, fox cannot manage to eat grapes and grapes are sour. Alike my friends were unable to manage a girlfriend and used to say “Oh! Love is so awful and it is just losing of valuable energy!!!

We grow a bit older and managed to get admission in University. Situation is changed, got freedom of birds and could fly anywhere.

Yes you have read “managed to get admission”. In our country it is just not easy to get admission in universities in desired subjects as the seats are limited and students are almost unlimited compared to the seats. For example the total numbers of seats in Govt. universities are about 20000, where applicant number is half a million.

Some private universities are there but education is pretty much expensive there. So the main focus of all the applicants is the Govt. universities where the cost is limited, less pressure of study and ample opportunity to enjoy your life.
